– Two Months Ago –

Hudson and Brixton were inside the office, looking deeply bothered at something. The anticipation hung heavy in the air as they awaited the results of the investigation about Leah and the three kids they saw with her.

The previous day, they had received a message from the investigator who told them that there had been significant progress and they would finally receive the full report the following day.

“Damn, I feel like I’m going insane.” Brixton brushed his face against his palms as he let out a frustrated sigh.

Hudson didn’t mirror his own expression, but there was also a troubled look on his face as he stared at the files on his desk. He can’t seem to focus fully on work thinking that they’ll finally get the results of the investigation tomorrow.
