I accepted to stay at the fisher's mansion.

Chris walks in and finds me still there.

Keith looks at his brother and told him he would be staying at the mansion tonight.

Chris nods and walks away without saying a single word.

Annoying bastard.

Chris winked at me while he left for the study room.

I grinned and fled to the visitor's room with the maid, Chris sent to assist me.

On my way I met Chris, I tried dismissing him however he grabbed my hands and brought me close to his lips.

"Are you ignoring me?".

He asked.

" Are you annoying me,?"

I pulled him away and went straight into my room.

Keith comes in thereafter and caught me talking to myself.

"Alexis, you okay, ?" He asked me.

"Yes, im fine," I look back and shake my head.

Keith sends a nightgown for me afterward to sleep in tonight since my clothes weren't there.

I thanked him while he left.

I came down afterward for dinner, and Alvin had one of the maids call me down.

I walked to the dining room table and met both brothers seated there.

Keith asked me to sit next to his brother. Chris looks and finds a seat next to him.

I grimaced and sat down.

We were served a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, Keith looks up and announced that it was my favorite.

I laughed right back and we both shared a lovely conversation.

The following morning, I got up from the bed and noticed a cup of coffee placed beside me.

I'm sure, Chris must have sent it.

He also sent a letter as well.

"Good morning beautiful, hope you slept well,"

His note reads.

I smiled so much and danced around my bedroom..

When I heard a knock on the door and hurriedly went to open it.

I met a maid, she held a dress and told on that, Alvin had it sent for me

I collected it and dash off to wear it

An hour later, I heard noises coming from downstairs, I came outside and met Fabian, Keith, and Chris's dad.

Behind, Elena, their mom walks too.

Keith rushed and hugged them.

At the same time, Chris comes in.

He finds his parents, talking with his brother.

"Good morning dad and mom,"

He says.

Leonardo face changed the minute he heard his voice.

He gets infuriated and asked Chris why he had sent his brother here.

Elena asked him not to speak and rushed over to hug her son.

David couldn't take his eye off his father's angry gaze.

Leonardo still refused to back down, he grabbed his wife and pushed David away.

"What are you doing here?".   In a distasteful tone, he says to him.

"Wow, dad! Is that any way to treat your son!".  David answered back.

He laughed and said.

"May I remind you, you're not my son, I have caught all ties with you, why do you keep forgetting?".

All of a sudden the atmosphere changed, I had never seen Chris so angry before, in a state of anger he raised his voice to his dad, who as well raised his.

We all watched and saw the much distance they both had, Chris, refused to see eye to eye with his father when his mom, as well as his brother, tried to explain this to him, he called his dad a selfish bastard.

Chris hateful comment made them fight each other.

The drama unfolds that he threatened to call the police on his son if he doesn't disappear.

We all looked scared.

Keith didn't say anything when his father threatened to call the police.

Chris rolled his eyes at his father and walked to the front door.

He was just about to leave when Elena asked him not to.

She walks over to the front door and pulled him back.

Leonardo gets infuriated, he rushed and grabbed her away.

"Don't you dare, interfere?"

He warned.

Elena laughed, she reminded him of what happened years back.

"Why do you hate your son?"

She grabbed his shirt.

He laughed and asked if truly David was his son or the son of the man she had an affair with.

Immediately the entire mansion went quiet.

Chris lost his cool and angrily grabbed his mom.

"Please tell me, this isn't true?"

He pleaded.

Elena told him not to pay attention to what Fabian had said.

Leonardo heard it and made David listen to everything.

What we all thought is the truth, was only a lie.

Chris isn't the son of Fabian Fisher, so if he isn't the son, then who is his father?

Chris pulled his mom away and walked to the front door.

Elena begged him not to go rather he ignored her and left heartbroken

I almost felt sorry for him.

Elena faced her husband. She warned if anything happened to her son, he would spend his entire life in Jail.

However, He dismissed her and walked to his bedroom.

Keith went after his father leaving his mom alone to cry.

I came to her and she falls on my shoulders.

Elena couldn't control her tears, I managed to get her to the bedroom, and on my way out, she asked me to go look for her son.

I told her not to worry and dash off to find him, I know Chris must be In a lot of pain, but I hope he doesn't end up doing anything stupid.

He seems too emotional to think right now.

What would have happened if I wasn't there to stop him? would he have actually gone through this alone or ignore the truth that is staring right at her face?.

Mrs. Elena has always been understanding and patience to her son, Chris But it would have been a greater discourage if everything takes a drastic turn..

"Alexis, Have you met with my brother,?". Keith let me come down the stairs and then asked me..
