Chapter Thirty-One

"You!" he growled. Before he could say another word, Hayden moved over with the speed of lightning, grabbed him by the neck, and suspended him on the wall.

Darius groaned, making incoherent noises as Hayden applied pressure on his neck.

I just stood there bewildered at first but soon started, enjoying the view and the drama unfolding.

"You dare not disrespect my mate," he barked at Darius was already raising both hands in submission since his neck was of no use at the moment.

Hayden growled and let him fall to the ground when he was satisfied with the damage he had done to him.

Darius scampered to the corner of the room, coughing hard with fear written all over him. It was fun seeing him like that. For someone who has done a lot of atrocities, I was disappointed that he would be scared so easily, but it is what it is.
