Chapter Thirty-Eight

AGNAR'S POV

I was in the office reading some of the reports when I heard a gentle knock on the door. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I completely ignored it, but on the second knock, I asked whoever it was to come in.

Alina came in with Cole, holding her hand. I forgot totally about her. I have been so busy with what is happening lately that I forgot to check on her.

She took it the hardest when news of Katya's death was announced. I heard she fell ill and didn't eat for days.

"Fuck that slut," I cursed.

I haven't seen her ever since the news, I guess she did like Katya so much. If only Katya had ever liked her.

"I'm sorry we are bothering you, Alpha. I want to talk to you about Luna Katya. I'm sorry. I know she is your mate, and I have no right whatsoever, but you are not saying anything about her burial," Alina said.

I sighed contemplating if to tell the truth or just lie about it.
