Chapter Sixty-One

It has been a month since Hayden started looking for my parents; it has been from one dead end to another.

There was no picture of any of them, so no one knows for sure what they looked like. I was reluctant at first, but right now, each dead end hurts as badly as a fresh cut.

I asked Hayden to stop looking a couple of times, but he won't hear of it; according to him, if it's the only thing that he does, he must reconcile me with my parents.

Maybe that is one of many reasons I'm falling helplessly in love with him.

It was a cool night, and I was having some me time in the sitting room watching a TV series while sipping water. They said the first trimester was the worst, but I think whoever said that never experienced past the first trimester, because the second trimester is slowly killing me.

I practically find it hard to sleep these days, and I can't seem to keep my food down; it just comes right up immediately I'm done eating, hence why I'm sipping water and not some freshly p
