SILAS'S POV

“Grisha.”

I called out to the chief's guard. He wanted to blatantly ignore me, but I kept on calling his name, irrespective. He got frustrated and turned to me.

“Beta Silas, when someone does not respond to you, it clearly means that they want to have nothing to do with you.”

He said to me, angrily.

“I know that, but J really need to confirm something with you.”

I said to him. It was obvious that I was not going to let him rest until I have spoken my mind to him, so he allowed me to talk.

“What is it?”

He asked me.

“For how long was I gone for?”

The expression on his face showed that he really think that there was something wrong with him.

“What is wrong with you?”

He asked me.

“Would you believe me if I told you that I have no idea how long I was gone for? Would you believe if I told you that I was probably knocked out for most of my journey home?”

I asked him.

“I see that you always have the perfect excuse for every situation. You just need to thank the gods that the Al

Silas was devastated to hear about his mother's illness. He had always been close to her, and the thought of losing her was unbearable. He spent every moment he could by her side, holding her hand and trying to comfort her. He had spent his whole life training and honing his skills, just as she had taught him, but he never imagined a life without her.One night, as Althea's condition worsened, she called Silas to her bedside. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Silas, my son, I need to tell you something important. Something I should have told you a long time ago."Silas leaned in, his heart racing. "What is it, mother?""I was hard on you, Silas, because of the circumstances of your birth," Althea said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Your father is Zemo, the Prince of the Moon Pack Kingdom. SARA'S POV “So, what do you want to do? Is he going to be your new heir? Or will you just leave him be?”I asked my father as I closed my eyes. I don't even know what to think anymore.“I really do not know. I am scared.”He responded to me. I obviously did not expect that answer from him.“Well, that's the first.”I commented.“Yea.”My father responded. I shifted my gaze back to him.“I want to ask you a sincere question.”“I’m all ears.”“How long have you known that Silas was your son? And is that the reason why you were hell bent on trying to separate us from the onset?”When I asked the question, he shifted his body to face me too. I want to say that this is the closest time I have ever being intimate with my father. I can feel that he can tell me absolutely anything that I ask of him tonight with very little resistance.“I have never known or had the slightest idea that Silas was my son up until the day we got attacked by that creature. SARA'S POV As I moved closer to the infirmary and I was about to enter the entrance, I was accosted by one of the nurses that worked there. She looked very frantic and apprehensive. “What is it, Jane? I thought I asked you not to leave the Alpha's side for a minute. Why are you here?”I demanded from her. “I'm sorry, my princess, but you said that I should not leave the Alpha unless it is an emergency and I'm afraid this is an emergency.”She replied. I did not wait for her to complete her statement. I just pushed her aside and walked to the room where my father was staying and I could not help but be worried about what I would find there. The last time I left his side, there was almost no change in his condition at all and he had slipped back into coma after muttering Silas' name several times. What if he has given up the ghost? There will be a lot of unanswered questions. When I got to the room, instead of seeing an empty bed or father being covered in sheets, I saw him awake and

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter seventy three: My wolf and I

SILAS'S POV It felt so refreshing to always have a voice that you can communicate with back and forth. A voice that, although is quite aggressive, but will always have your best interest at heart. I will no longer deal with any form of quietness again. It felt oddly peaceful too. But I will get used to it as soon as possible.I looked around the springs of Zadia. The fountain where I drank from said that I would be hallucinating for days, so if this is real and I'm out of the hallucination phase, this would literally mean that I have spent way longer time than I intended to spend here. I needed to catch up.“Are you ready, wolf? I think I need to give you a name, don't you think?”I asked him.“Whatever you say.”“What kind of name do I give you..?”I was thinking, then I remembered the colour of my wolf. I loved how dark and shinny he was when I met him in the void. I know that I just had to give him a unique name. And I think I have just found the name!“I know what I will give you

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Seventy two: The battle between selves

SILAS'S POV I stood there, starring at my own image. A reflection of myself.“Wow! It's just like staring in the mirror.”He sneered at me.“What is the meaning of this?”I asked. “You can't simply move on if you have not defeated me. I am your alter ego. You will need to kill me to gain control. But you know what? Your alter ego has all your strengths and lacks all your weaknesses. Strength, the ability not to hold back, lack of empathy and emotions, I have them all. That is what will always make me stronger than you.”He said, drawing out his sword from the thin air, ready to strike me.“Don't be too sure about that, Silas 2.0. I will do anything to get out of here.”I responded, fashioning out my won sword from the thin air, also ready to strike myself. We looked deeply into each other and we ran towards each other to attack. Our blades struck each other and made a vibrating sound that echoed all round the entire void. The battle between selves has begun. The energy from the blad

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Seventy one: Awakening

SARA'S POV I paced to and fro all day in my bedroom. I had left the infirmary, telling the nurse to keep a close guide on my father as I wanted to take a break. I had hardly left his side for more than two hours since the incident. This is day four already and it looks still the same. I hope Silas comes very soon. But that was not the very bane of my restlessness this afternoon. Bea had gone to school for young and royally wolves so I had time all to myself. The reason for my worry was the last statement father has uttered in his sleep yesterday's evening. He mentioned three names; in which two of them are unfamiliar. He mentioned Althea and Saul with Silas. But I knew that I must have heard of Althea before. It sounded like a name that I must have come across before. Where have I heard that name from?It suddenly clicked to me. There is the story of a brave and young warrior and werewolf that was told in our Luna school. The first female celebrated war hero in the Moon Pack kingdom.

SILAS'S POV“You are not the saviour of the world; you are the saviour of the witches. You are the Hannuk.”Agnes laughter echoed around the void, so did the others that were with her too. This was a very uncomfortable situation, but I will find a way.“So, what now?”I asked her.“Now, we are glad that we lured you here. This will give us the full ground to possess your body and you will be just like a puppet to bring salvation to my own tribe.”They began to laugh hysterically again. They just basked in the laughter that I even began to chuckle too. When they were done, I started my own round of laughter too. This made them all quiet and Agnes looked quite confused. She didn't know what game I was playing. Even I did not know what I was doing at that moment. I just needed to stall to find the right hack.“What are you doing?”Agnes asked me.“Well, I'm laughing. Am I not supposed to laugh at the whole joke that is going on all around?”I asked.“What joke?”She asked.“All I know is

SILAS'S POV “So, this is the void?”I asked the truth seeker as I stared at the endless space of nothingness around me.“Welcome to the void.”He said to me as he spread out his arms. I still was a bit confused.“What do I do from here?”I asked.“Me? I'm done with my assignment. My assignment was to make this journey easier for you by facing the truth. Now that you have faced the truth, my work is now done. I wish you success in your quest.”He said to me and disappeared quickly before I could even protest.“Great! Now, I'm stuck here.”I said, staring around with no idea of what to do at all. I looked all around trying to look for clues, but everything stayed the same. There was nothing that I saw that was different.“I need to keep going anyway. I need to do something.”I said to myself as I moved on. I just kept walking in the endless void. What am I supposed to be doing here in the first place? I am supposed to find a way to separate every parts of me and find a way to master ho

SARA'S POV “I will never let anything happen to you. Not Silas, not the Luna or anyone else. I'm here for you all the way.”I was saying to my own father as I looked at him. I can't believe that I almost absconded with Silas a few weeks ago because I was upset with him. What if something worse had happened to him when we left? Why if Silas was not there to protect him because I was just selfish and wanted him all to myself?“I'm sorry, father. I'm sorry for trying to run away. I don't know what I was thinking.”I said, crying to him. Now to think of it, how much can I even trust Silas? Is that why he changed his behaviour towards me when he first found out that I'm his sister? Or am I just truly imagining things? Is he really my own half brother? If that is true, it has got to be very sickening and any feelings I have for him my be dropped now.“No! He can't be my brother.”I said, decisively. I have really fallen for him too much to believe that he may actually even be my brother. I
