Silas passed through the outer walls of the kingdom and entered the inner gate. As he stepped forward, he was greeted with a magnificent sight. The inner gate was a towering structure made of stone, with intricate carvings of wolves and other beasts lining the walls. The gate was wide and sturdy, with iron bars and a wooden door that could easily repel any invaders.

Beyond the gate was a spacious courtyard, with manicured lawns and beautiful flower beds. The air was perfumed with the scent of roses and lavender, and the sound of a nearby fountain added a soothing ambiance to the area. The courtyard was flanked by tall buildings, with balconies and terraces that overlooked the central area. Silas could see people going about their daily business, merchants selling their wares, and children playing and laughing in the streets.

As he walked further into the kingdom, he saw the grand palace looming ahead. The palace was a sprawling structure made of white stone, with towers and spires tha

Relief washed over her face as she saw that he was awake.Silas tried to sit up, but a wave of pain hit him hard, causing him to wince. He looked down at his chest and saw bandages wrapped tightly around his torso. Memories of the attack flooded his mind, and he grimaced at the thought of how close he had come to death."How long have I been here?" Silas asked Sara, his voice hoarse."Three days," she replied softly, placing a hand on his arm. "You were lucky to survive, Silas. If not for your magical abilities and your strong werewolf genes, you would have been dead instantly."Silas nodded, his mind still reeling from the attack. He tried to remember what had happened, but it was all a blur. Sara seemed to sense his unease and leaned in closer to him."Klaus heard some noise in your room and rushed in, but by the tim

Silas felt a lump form in his throat as Alpha Zemo questioned him. He had been so careful to keep his past a secret, to avoid drawing attention to himself. But it seemed that his cover had been blown. He knew he had to lie, for revealing his true identity would put him in danger. He took a deep breath and composed himself. "I apologize, Alpha Zemo," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I did not mean to deceive you. My name is Silas. My mother's name was Liara," Silas said. "She was married to a skilled warrior but he died before I was born. His brother also was a warrior and he taught me everything I know. As for where I come from, I am from a small pack in the mountains. We were wiped out by a rival pack, very few of us survived and I have been wandering ever since I was a teen wolf."He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "As for my purpose here in your kingdom, Alpha, I came seeking a new home. I have been wandering for many years, trying to find my place in the wor

Silas was completely caught off guard when he saw Alex standing before him. It was as if he had seen a ghost. Well, technically, he had almost killed Alex and left him for dead the last time they had met. Silas couldn't help but think to himself, "I guess that werewolf didn't die hard enough."Alex grinned at Silas, noticing the surprise on his face. "Surprise, surprise," he said. "You didn't think you could just leave me for dead and get away with it, did you?"“How…? How did you survive that?” Silas stammered“Boy, you seem to forget your roots. You seemed to forget that I have one of the best healers in the entire world. But that’s not why I’m here. And that’s not the question you want to ask. It’s not as though you really care about my well-being. I’m hurt by the way” Alex smirked.Silas felt a shiver run down his spine. Silas’ POV As the moon rose high in the sky, Alex and his gang gathered in a secret location in the forest. They were dressed in black and their faces were covered with masks. Alex stood at the head of the group, looking over his team. He had planned this kidnapping for weeks, and he was determined to see it through to the end. "Alright, everyone," he said in a low voice. "Here's the plan. We'll be sneaking into the castle tonight, and we'll be taking Alpha Zemo's daughter, Sara. We have to move quickly and quietly. If we're caught, we'll all be put to death." The group nodded in agreement, and Alex continued, "First, we'll be scaling the walls of the castle. Malachi, you'll be in charge of getting us over the wall. You know the layout of the castle better than any of us, so you'll be our guide." Silas nodded from behind the big boulder, he had been following Alex for days and now his suspicion is true. Silas and his pack continued to search the forest, determined to find Sara and bring her back safely. They had scoured every inch of the woods, following every lead and tracking every scent, but their efforts proved fruitless. He had even secretly gone to the cave where he was raised by Alex and just as he expected, the wolves were long gone from there. He feared how Zemo would be reacting to the news of his daughter’s kidnap. The days turned into weeks, and still, there was no sign of Sara or her kidnapper, Alex.More importantly, as Silas searched, he couldn’t help but wonder what Alex wanted Sara for. He still didn’t understand the beef he had with the Alpha in the first instance that would make him go after his family. But right now, he needed to find Sara and rescue her.…………………………………………………………………Meanwhile, Finn had returned to the Moonpack Kingdom and reported the situation to Alpha Zemo. The Alpha was furious when he learned that his own trusted advisor had betrayed him and ki

Silas followed the witch into the dark, ominous cave. The air grew colder and damper with every step, and the faint scent of burnt herbs and incense filled his nostrils. His heart pounded in his chest as he wondered what the witch had in store for him. After walking for what felt like hours, they finally arrived at a cave entrance. The witch led him inside, and he found himself in a large chamber where two more witches were waiting for them.As they entered a large cavern, Silas could see that it was lit by hundreds of flickering candles arranged in a circle around a large crystal ball in the center. The two more witches stood on either side of the crystal ball, their faces obscured by shadows. The two witches greeted the first witch, who introduced Silas as the one who had come to rescue Sara. They then began to chant and cast spells over a large crystal ball that was sitting in the center of the chamber. The three of them chanted in a language Silas couldn't understand, their voic

SILAS'S POV “So, this is the void?”I asked the truth seeker as I stared at the endless space of nothingness around me.“Welcome to the void.”He said to me as he spread out his arms. I still was a bit confused.“What do I do from here?”I asked.“Me? I'm done with my assignment. My assignment was to make this journey easier for you by facing the truth. Now that you have faced the truth, my work is now done. I wish you success in your quest.”He said to me and disappeared quickly before I could even protest.“Great! Now, I'm stuck here.”I said, staring around with no idea of what to do at all. I looked all around trying to look for clues, but everything stayed the same. There was nothing that I saw that was different.“I need to keep going anyway. I need to do something.”I said to myself as I moved on. I just kept walking in the endless void. What am I supposed to be doing here in the first place? I am supposed to find a way to separate every parts of me and find a way to master ho

SARA'S POV “I will never let anything happen to you. Not Silas, not the Luna or anyone else. I'm here for you all the way.”I was saying to my own father as I looked at him. I can't believe that I almost absconded with Silas a few weeks ago because I was upset with him. What if something worse had happened to him when we left? Why if Silas was not there to protect him because I was just selfish and wanted him all to myself?“I'm sorry, father. I'm sorry for trying to run away. I don't know what I was thinking.”I said, crying to him. Now to think of it, how much can I even trust Silas? Is that why he changed his behaviour towards me when he first found out that I'm his sister? Or am I just truly imagining things? Is he really my own half brother? If that is true, it has got to be very sickening and any feelings I have for him my be dropped now.“No! He can't be my brother.”I said, decisively. I have really fallen for him too much to believe that he may actually even be my brother. I

SARA'S POV Silas has been gone for two days and all I could do was stay by father's side. The report of his health was still the same. He was still steadily improving, but he didn't show any signs yet. I barely ate and slept because of how worried I was of my father. Yet, all what the Luna did was to handle all the affairs of the Moon Pack kingdom without letting father's subjects know about his condition. Many of them had no reason to suspect anything because this is not the first time she was acting on the behalf of father, so they saw it as one of those days. The Luna had only visited father once, and just for a few minutes and returned back to her chambers instructing them to inform her if there was a change in situation with him.“You are aware that people handle grief differently, right?”Gaius, the head physician mentioned to me after he must have noticed how upset I must have looked at her. I did not respond to him, but just managed to smile. He has no idea of who my mother i

SILAS'S POV The cooling sensation of water woke me up as it splashed on me violently. I woke up, coughing and gasping for air. I looked around me. I was still at the springs of Zadia. I remembered a few things that happened just before I got knocked out cold. I had just seen my brother, Saul. He had gotten out of the forest of Koda and he deemed it fit to pay me a visit.I looked around me. I was tied up to a stake. I struggled a bit, but the effect of the drug was still there. I was not in my full strength at that time. It still a struggle for me to break free from this rope.“Saul!”I called out after him. I got no response.“Where are you?”I insisted, but there was no response. I tried struggling out of it again, but it was too secure for me.“What the fuck do you want from me?”I cried out, frustrated. I began to hear movements from behind my back. I could not fully look behind me, so I did not see him.“Look brother, we can talk about this. Let's talk about this.”I tried to ta

SILAS'S POV For the first time, my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. My chains had snapped open and I turned to a wolf and howled loudly in the forest. Then, Cole came out and clapped his hands followed by the thousand others that went away to see if I could break open the chains.“You see? Now, was that so hard to do?”Cole asked. I did not let him know that it was the first time that my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. I just walked away from him, saying.“Just stay out of my way. I don't want to every see you around again. I know who I am and I am not what you or any stupid book tell or foresee about me at all.”I said to him. It was like a miracle that I still very much kept my cool and did not make anyone drop dead. It looked a bit disappointing to them, but they had to let go.“Come back to us any time and any day. Defeat the nemesis and come back for your army and destiny.”Cole shouted after me. I was still within the earshot range of a super hearing wolf

SILAS'S POV “Welcome, the chosen one. We have been waiting for you for centuries. Where have you been all these while?”Their leader announced and they all cheered as though I was their god. I looked at them and I noticed that they looked more like fanatics than just regular creatures.“What the fuck are you talking about? And who the fuck are you guys?”I queried him.“My name is Cole and we are the followers of the dark one and we have waited for centuries for you to appear before us.”Their leader introduced and they continued making those irritating chants again that I was bewildered. I thought centaurs are meant to be powerfully intelligent? These ones look so incredibly stupid.“So, if you say that I am that dark one that you are imagining in your minds, why do you have me drugged and tied to a tree? Why am I not free?”I asked Cole.He walked up closer to me as if he wanted to whisper.“We are sorry for the I'll treatment that we gave you. We are only protecting you and also p

SILAS'S POV “Let's bring back our father safely.”Those were Sara's last words before she closed the door to the exit of the secret passage to the outskirts of the Moon pack kingdom. I couldn't just get it off of my mind as I walked down the path. It was not just Sara's words that convinced me, it was her looks. She already knows that I am the son of her father. What does it now mean to us? Does that mean that we are now siblings? Enemies? Why has she not asked me what I want if she knows who I am? I am convinced beyond reasoning that she knows who I am.I brought out the book that shows the map leading to the springs of Zadia. I would need to avoid the main path for hours so that I will not run into the wolves of the Moon pack that Luna Veronica might send my way. J must be very quick, quiet and vigilante. • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter Sixty-two: Brother and Sister

SILAS'S POV I paced around my chambers. It has been over three days that father has been in a comatose state. There has been a slow, but steady improvement in the Alpha's health. The poison was a very lethal one, so it is taking a while for his body to reject it. What will then happen when he wakes up and realises that I have been his son all the while? Will he banish me like he did my mother or will he have me executed? As much as I'm worried about that, I'm also worried about my own self. It has been days since my inner beast was unleashed and the darkness of the orb came out too, I need to find a way to keep it at bay again. I need to find the springs of Zadia again. It's only a few days to winter and I have been kept on a strict surveillance. How will I be able to get out of the kingdom without being stopped or followed? I don't know how to do it at all.The only way I can do that is by taking the secret tunnel in the Alpha's chambers. It was the same one that Saul and I used to

SARA'S POV I stood there, as I watched as Silas left. A few seconds ago, he whispered some things to my ear tat got me puzzled.“I want you to listen to me closely. I do not trust anyone here. Some people would have gotten wind of your father's condition and will try to murder him. But as long as that pendant is around his neck, he will be fine. Do not let anyone remove it from his neck and do not take your eyes away from him. Don't let anyone know about this too. I will be back for you.”After delivering the message to me, he left me. I did not know how to react to what I had just heard. Is anyone trying to kill my father? If yes, why would they want to? I recovered after a few minutes and resumed to sit by my father and watch him all through.“Why don't you take some rest? We have got it from here?”One of the physicians encouraged me, but I will not let that happen. Not on my watch.“I'm okay here. I'll be okay, by watching my father recover.”I responded.“I'm just saying that i
