SILAS'S POV I stood there, starring at my own image. A reflection of myself.“Wow! It's just like staring in the mirror.”He sneered at me.“What is the meaning of this?”I asked. “You can't simply move on if you have not defeated me. I am your alter ego. You will need to kill me to gain control. But you know what? Your alter ego has all your strengths and lacks all your weaknesses. Strength, the ability not to hold back, lack of empathy and emotions, I have them all. That is what will always make me stronger than you.”He said, drawing out his sword from the thin air, ready to strike me.“Don't be too sure about that, Silas 2.0. I will do anything to get out of here.”I responded, fashioning out my won sword from the thin air, also ready to strike myself. We looked deeply into each other and we ran towards each other to attack. Our blades struck each other and made a vibrating sound that echoed all round the entire void. The battle between selves has begun. The energy from the blad
SILAS'S POV It felt so refreshing to always have a voice that you can communicate with back and forth. A voice that, although is quite aggressive, but will always have your best interest at heart. I will no longer deal with any form of quietness again. It felt oddly peaceful too. But I will get used to it as soon as possible.I looked around the springs of Zadia. The fountain where I drank from said that I would be hallucinating for days, so if this is real and I'm out of the hallucination phase, this would literally mean that I have spent way longer time than I intended to spend here. I needed to catch up.“Are you ready, wolf? I think I need to give you a name, don't you think?”I asked him.“Whatever you say.”“What kind of name do I give you..?”I was thinking, then I remembered the colour of my wolf. I loved how dark and shinny he was when I met him in the void. I know that I just had to give him a unique name. And I think I have just found the name!“I know what I will give you
“This is a story told amongst many children and I was the most excited to always hear them time and again when my papa and the chief of our village told us the story.” I said to my twelve-year old daughter, Denise as I saw the familiar smile. I noticed it as the same spark in her eyes; the same one I usually had when my Pappy was about to tell his usual werewolf stories.“This is a story about nobility, courage, passion and love.” It got her heart racing.“In the ancient times, when man and the impossible were no strangers to each other and nature was always at its peak, there was a kingdom which was the center of all normal and paranormal. The king ruled in dynasty and so much power and all creatures feared him. The witches, sorcerers, miniatures, centaurs, dwarves, and even the vampires paid homage to the Moon kingdom in which Zemo, the ruthless was their Alpha.Zemo was feared and respected by all, but few knew the secret that haunted him. He had a son, a son he had abandoned when
Althea stood tall and proud as she faced the king's council but her heart was pounding in her chest as she awaited their judgment. She knew that her love for Prince Zemo had sealed her fate. She could see the disapproving looks on their faces as they whispered amongst themselves. She took a deep breath and prepared herself for what was to come.King Nobi sat at the head of the table, his eyes fixed on Althea. "Althea, you stand before us accused of the gravest of crimes. You have violated our laws by engaging in a forbidden love affair with Prince Zemo. What do you have to say for yourself?"Althea met the king's gaze without flinching. "I love Prince Zemo with all my heart, my king. But I understand that our love is forbidden. I am willing to face the consequences of my actions."The king's council murmured amongst themselves, and Althea could feel their disapproval. She could see Prince Zemo sitting among them, his eyes downcast. She knew that he was struggling with his own emotions
Althea struggled against the ropes that bound her wrists, her heart racing as the rogue wolves dragged her deeper into the forest. She had been wandering for days, lost and alone, when they had ambushed her. She had fought back with all her might, but there were too many of them, and they had overpowered her. Now, she was their captive, and they were taking her to their pack, wherever that may be. Althea had heard tales of rogue packs that roamed the wilds, preying on the weak and helpless. She knew that she was in grave danger, and fear gnawed at her insides. As they walked deeper into the forest, Althea noticed that the wolves were becoming more aggressive. They taunted her, jeered at her, and even threatened to rape her. Althea gritted her teeth, refusing to show any weakness in front of them. She knew that if she showed fear, they would only become more emboldened.Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, they arrived at their campsite. It was a crude, makeshift encamp
Silas was devastated to hear about his mother's illness. He had always been close to her, and the thought of losing her was unbearable. He spent every moment he could by her side, holding her hand and trying to comfort her. He had spent his whole life training and honing his skills, just as she had taught him, but he never imagined a life without her.One night, as Althea's condition worsened, she called Silas to her bedside. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Silas, my son, I need to tell you something important. Something I should have told you a long time ago."Silas leaned in, his heart racing. "What is it, mother?""I was hard on you, Silas, because of the circumstances of your birth," Althea said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Your father is Zemo, the Prince of the Moon Pack Kingdom. When his father found out about the affair between me and his son, he banished me from his kingdom and his son even denied me. I was left to raise you on my own, with no s
As Silas approached the kingdom, he was struck by the sight of the towering walls that surrounded it. The walls were made of solid stone, with watchtowers at regular intervals that rose high into the sky. He could see guards patrolling the ramparts, their silhouettes visible against the bright moonlight. As he got closer, he noticed that the gates were open, and he could see people moving about inside. Silas hesitated for a moment, taking in the scene before him. He knew that this was a dangerous place for him, especially given his history with the Moon Pack. But he was also driven by a deep desire for revenge, and he knew that he had to press on. Taking a deep breath, he walked towards the gate, trying to keep his head down and blend in with the crowd. As he got closer, he felt a sense of unease wash over him. He could feel eyes on him, watching his every move. But he kept his composure and walked through the gates, into the heart of the Moon Pack kingdom. ……………………………………………………… S
Silas passed through the outer walls of the kingdom and entered the inner gate. As he stepped forward, he was greeted with a magnificent sight. The inner gate was a towering structure made of stone, with intricate carvings of wolves and other beasts lining the walls. The gate was wide and sturdy, with iron bars and a wooden door that could easily repel any invaders.Beyond the gate was a spacious courtyard, with manicured lawns and beautiful flower beds. The air was perfumed with the scent of roses and lavender, and the sound of a nearby fountain added a soothing ambiance to the area. The courtyard was flanked by tall buildings, with balconies and terraces that overlooked the central area. Silas could see people going about their daily business, merchants selling their wares, and children playing and laughing in the streets. As he walked further into the kingdom, he saw the grand palace looming ahead. The palace was a sprawling structure made of white stone, with towers and spires tha

SARA'S POV I paced to and fro all day in my bedroom. I had left the infirmary, telling the nurse to keep a close guide on my father as I wanted to take a break. I had hardly left his side for more than two hours since the incident. This is day four already and it looks still the same. I hope Silas comes very soon. But that was not the very bane of my restlessness this afternoon. Bea had gone to school for young and royally wolves so I had time all to myself. The reason for my worry was the last statement father has uttered in his sleep yesterday's evening. He mentioned three names; in which two of them are unfamiliar. He mentioned Althea and Saul with Silas. But I knew that I must have heard of Althea before. It sounded like a name that I must have come across before. Where have I heard that name from?It suddenly clicked to me. There is the story of a brave and young warrior and werewolf that was told in our Luna school. The first female celebrated war hero in the Moon Pack kingdom.
SILAS'S POV“You are not the saviour of the world; you are the saviour of the witches. You are the Hannuk.”Agnes laughter echoed around the void, so did the others that were with her too. This was a very uncomfortable situation, but I will find a way.“So, what now?”I asked her.“Now, we are glad that we lured you here. This will give us the full ground to possess your body and you will be just like a puppet to bring salvation to my own tribe.”They began to laugh hysterically again. They just basked in the laughter that I even began to chuckle too. When they were done, I started my own round of laughter too. This made them all quiet and Agnes looked quite confused. She didn't know what game I was playing. Even I did not know what I was doing at that moment. I just needed to stall to find the right hack.“What are you doing?”Agnes asked me.“Well, I'm laughing. Am I not supposed to laugh at the whole joke that is going on all around?”I asked.“What joke?”She asked.“All I know is
SILAS'S POV “So, this is the void?”I asked the truth seeker as I stared at the endless space of nothingness around me.“Welcome to the void.”He said to me as he spread out his arms. I still was a bit confused.“What do I do from here?”I asked.“Me? I'm done with my assignment. My assignment was to make this journey easier for you by facing the truth. Now that you have faced the truth, my work is now done. I wish you success in your quest.”He said to me and disappeared quickly before I could even protest.“Great! Now, I'm stuck here.”I said, staring around with no idea of what to do at all. I looked all around trying to look for clues, but everything stayed the same. There was nothing that I saw that was different.“I need to keep going anyway. I need to do something.”I said to myself as I moved on. I just kept walking in the endless void. What am I supposed to be doing here in the first place? I am supposed to find a way to separate every parts of me and find a way to master ho
SARA'S POV “I will never let anything happen to you. Not Silas, not the Luna or anyone else. I'm here for you all the way.”I was saying to my own father as I looked at him. I can't believe that I almost absconded with Silas a few weeks ago because I was upset with him. What if something worse had happened to him when we left? Why if Silas was not there to protect him because I was just selfish and wanted him all to myself?“I'm sorry, father. I'm sorry for trying to run away. I don't know what I was thinking.”I said, crying to him. Now to think of it, how much can I even trust Silas? Is that why he changed his behaviour towards me when he first found out that I'm his sister? Or am I just truly imagining things? Is he really my own half brother? If that is true, it has got to be very sickening and any feelings I have for him my be dropped now.“No! He can't be my brother.”I said, decisively. I have really fallen for him too much to believe that he may actually even be my brother. I
SARA'S POV Silas has been gone for two days and all I could do was stay by father's side. The report of his health was still the same. He was still steadily improving, but he didn't show any signs yet. I barely ate and slept because of how worried I was of my father. Yet, all what the Luna did was to handle all the affairs of the Moon Pack kingdom without letting father's subjects know about his condition. Many of them had no reason to suspect anything because this is not the first time she was acting on the behalf of father, so they saw it as one of those days. The Luna had only visited father once, and just for a few minutes and returned back to her chambers instructing them to inform her if there was a change in situation with him.“You are aware that people handle grief differently, right?”Gaius, the head physician mentioned to me after he must have noticed how upset I must have looked at her. I did not respond to him, but just managed to smile. He has no idea of who my mother i
SILAS'S POV The cooling sensation of water woke me up as it splashed on me violently. I woke up, coughing and gasping for air. I looked around me. I was still at the springs of Zadia. I remembered a few things that happened just before I got knocked out cold. I had just seen my brother, Saul. He had gotten out of the forest of Koda and he deemed it fit to pay me a visit.I looked around me. I was tied up to a stake. I struggled a bit, but the effect of the drug was still there. I was not in my full strength at that time. It still a struggle for me to break free from this rope.“Saul!”I called out after him. I got no response.“Where are you?”I insisted, but there was no response. I tried struggling out of it again, but it was too secure for me.“What the fuck do you want from me?”I cried out, frustrated. I began to hear movements from behind my back. I could not fully look behind me, so I did not see him.“Look brother, we can talk about this. Let's talk about this.”I tried to ta
SILAS'S POV For the first time, my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. My chains had snapped open and I turned to a wolf and howled loudly in the forest. Then, Cole came out and clapped his hands followed by the thousand others that went away to see if I could break open the chains.“You see? Now, was that so hard to do?”Cole asked. I did not let him know that it was the first time that my eyes glowed like that of a potential Alpha. I just walked away from him, saying.“Just stay out of my way. I don't want to every see you around again. I know who I am and I am not what you or any stupid book tell or foresee about me at all.”I said to him. It was like a miracle that I still very much kept my cool and did not make anyone drop dead. It looked a bit disappointing to them, but they had to let go.“Come back to us any time and any day. Defeat the nemesis and come back for your army and destiny.”Cole shouted after me. I was still within the earshot range of a super hearing wolf
