“This is a story told amongst many children and I was the most excited to always hear them time and again when my papa and the chief of our village told us the story.”
I said to my twelve-year old daughter, Denise as I saw the familiar smile. I noticed it as the same spark in her eyes; the same one I usually had when my Pappy was about to tell his usual werewolf stories.
“This is a story about nobility, courage, passion and love.” It got her heart racing.
“In the ancient times, when man and the impossible were no strangers to each other and nature was always at its peak, there was a kingdom which was the center of all normal and paranormal. The king ruled in dynasty and so much power and all creatures feared him. The witches, sorcerers, miniatures, centaurs, dwarves, and even the vampires paid homage to the Moon kingdom in which Zemo, the ruthless was their Alpha.
Zemo was feared and respected by all, but few knew the secret that haunted him. He had a son, a son he had abandoned when he was just a baby. His name was Silas, and he was the son of Zemo's childhood lover, a fierce warrior who had been banished from the kingdom for refusing to abort their child.

Twenty-five years ago…
The Moon Kingdom was not always feared. Stories of war and bloodshed made them rise to the top. They had fearless warriors and skilled wolves that were always ready to stake their lives for the pack and one of them was the beautiful young grey wolf with dark blue eyes named Althea.
Althea was known throughout the kingdom as one of the fiercest werewolf warriors. She was fearless in battle, and her fighting skills were unmatched by any other warrior. She also had an unwavering loyalty to her pack. She had fought in many battles and had never once faltered in her duty to protect her pack and her Alpha. She was also known for her beauty, with her long, flowing hair and piercing blue eyes that seemed to glow in the moonlight. What made Althea truly special was her unwavering bravery in the face of danger
But it was her bravery in one particular battle that would change her life forever….
During the Battle against snow pack…
The battle was against a pack of rogue werewolves who had been causing chaos and destruction in neighboring territories of the Moon Kingdom. Zemo, who was just the young promising prince at that time, had led the charge into battle, and Althea had been one of the warriors under his command.
The battle had been fierce, and the rogue pack had put up a tough fight. Multiple causalities had been on both sides and it seemed that the Snow Pack was not ready to give up in this fight either…
The air was thick with the stench of sweat, blood, and fear. The clanging of swords and the howls of werewolves filled the air. Althea's pack was outnumbered, but they fought with a ferocity that surprised even their enemies.
As the battle wore on, Althea found herself surrounded by the enemy pack. They had her cornered, and it seemed as though there was no way out. But Althea refused to give up. She fought with everything she had, taking down enemy after enemy with her razor-sharp claws and deadly blade.
Despite being outnumbered, the Moon Kingdom pack was holding their own, until a surprise attack by the snow pack caught them off guard. Althea saw her packmates falling around her, and she knew that they needed to regroup and come up with a new strategy if they were going to win this battle.
Without hesitation, Althea took charge. She rallied the remaining members of her pack and led them in a daring counter-attack. Her sword flashed in the sunlight as she cut through the rogue pack's ranks, her wolf form shifting effortlessly as she fought with all her strength.
Just when it seemed as though all was lost, Althea heard a voice behind her. "Stay strong, Althea," Zemo, the Alpha crown prince of the Moon Kingdom, said as he rushed into battle beside her. He fought with a strength and determination that matched Althea's, and together they were an unstoppable force.
Zemo and Althea fought side by side, taking down enemy after enemy. With each swing of their blades and each howl of triumph, their bond grew stronger. They moved as one, anticipating each other's moves and working together seamlessly.
Finally, the battle was won. The enemy pack retreated, defeated and humiliated. Althea and Zemo stood together, their chests heaving with exertion, their eyes locked in a fierce and passionate gaze.
Zemo had watched in awe as Althea fought, his heart pounding with admiration for her courage and skill. He had always known that she was a strong warrior, but seeing her in battle like this made him realize that she was so much more than that. She was a true leader, someone who inspired others to fight alongside her with all their might.
It was in that moment that Zemo realized he was in love with Althea. Her bravery in battle, her strength and determination, and her unwavering loyalty to her pack had captured his heart. He knew that he could never let her go.
Zemo approached her, his eyes shining with pride and admiration.
"Althea," he said, his voice full of emotion, "I have never seen anyone fight like you. You are a true warrior, and I am in awe of your bravery."
Althea felt her heart skip a beat as she looked up at Zemo. She had always respected him as her Alpha and her future king, but now she realized that she felt something more for him; something that went beyond duty and loyalty.
And Althea, for her part, found herself falling just as deeply in love with Zemo. She knew that their love was forbidden, that as a warrior in his pack, she could never be his mate. But she couldn't help the way she felt. Whenever she was with Zemo, she felt like she was home, like nothing else in the world mattered.
Their love was a secret, one that they guarded fiercely. But even as they kept it hidden from the rest of the world, they knew that they would do anything to protect each other, and that their love would endure, no matter what the future held.

As Althea made her way through the crowded market, she saw as other younger wolves admired her. Tales of her courage had inspired a lot of younger female warriors and she had been the center of attraction since then. She had learned to be kind and smile as the younger ones tried to reach to her arms to feel her biceps. But all that didn’t go to her head today.
She couldn't help but feel a sense of longing in her heart. It had been weeks since she had seen Zemo, the Alpha Prince, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss between them.
As she wandered through the stalls, her mind kept drifting back to the night they had spent together. It had been magical, with the moon shining down on them like a beacon of hope. She had never felt so alive, so connected to another person in her life.
But now, as she walked through the bustling market, she couldn't help but wonder if it had all been a dream. Zemo was the Alpha King, after all, and she was just a commoner even though perhaps the greatest warrior in the kingdom apart from the Prince. What could he possibly see in her?
Just as she was about to give up hope, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see Zemo standing behind her, his piercing blue eyes staring into hers.
"Althea," he said, his voice low and husky. "I've been looking for you."
Her heart skipped a beat at the sound of his voice. She had missed him so much.
"What brings you here, my king?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
“You always seem to forget; I’m not yet the Alpha” he chuckled.
“If the wrong person heard it, it will be considered an act of treason” he smiled
"I came to see you, of course," he said, taking her hand in his. "I couldn't stay away any longer."
Althea felt a red hotness in her cheeks as he said those words.
As they walked through the market, Zemo regaled her with stories of his kingdom and the battles they both had fought. Althea couldn't help but be swept up in his passion and his charisma.
As the sun began to set, they found themselves standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. Zemo turned to Althea and took her hand in his.
"Althea," he said, his voice soft and tender. "I know that we come from different worlds, but I can't help the way I feel about you. You are the only person who truly understands me."
Althea felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes. She had never felt so loved, so cherished.
"Zemo," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I feel the same way about you. But what will your people say? What about your duties as the next Alpha King?"
Zemo shook his head. "I don't care about any of that. All I care about is you, Althea. Will you be mine?"
Althea didn't hesitate for a second. "Yes," she said, throwing her arms around his neck. "Yes, I will be yours."
As they kissed beneath the stars, Zemo gently lifted Althea up and placed her on the cold rock. Slowly, he undressed her and entered her. Althea knew that her life would never be the same. She had found true love in the arms of the Alpha King, and nothing would ever change that. Or so she thought.
Althea stood tall and proud as she faced the king's council but her heart was pounding in her chest as she awaited their judgment. She knew that her love for Prince Zemo had sealed her fate. She could see the disapproving looks on their faces as they whispered amongst themselves. She took a deep breath and prepared herself for what was to come.King Nobi sat at the head of the table, his eyes fixed on Althea. "Althea, you stand before us accused of the gravest of crimes. You have violated our laws by engaging in a forbidden love affair with Prince Zemo. What do you have to say for yourself?"Althea met the king's gaze without flinching. "I love Prince Zemo with all my heart, my king. But I understand that our love is forbidden. I am willing to face the consequences of my actions."The king's council murmured amongst themselves, and Althea could feel their disapproval. She could see Prince Zemo sitting among them, his eyes downcast. She knew that he was struggling with his own emotions
Althea struggled against the ropes that bound her wrists, her heart racing as the rogue wolves dragged her deeper into the forest. She had been wandering for days, lost and alone, when they had ambushed her. She had fought back with all her might, but there were too many of them, and they had overpowered her. Now, she was their captive, and they were taking her to their pack, wherever that may be. Althea had heard tales of rogue packs that roamed the wilds, preying on the weak and helpless. She knew that she was in grave danger, and fear gnawed at her insides. As they walked deeper into the forest, Althea noticed that the wolves were becoming more aggressive. They taunted her, jeered at her, and even threatened to rape her. Althea gritted her teeth, refusing to show any weakness in front of them. She knew that if she showed fear, they would only become more emboldened.Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, they arrived at their campsite. It was a crude, makeshift encamp
Silas was devastated to hear about his mother's illness. He had always been close to her, and the thought of losing her was unbearable. He spent every moment he could by her side, holding her hand and trying to comfort her. He had spent his whole life training and honing his skills, just as she had taught him, but he never imagined a life without her.One night, as Althea's condition worsened, she called Silas to her bedside. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Silas, my son, I need to tell you something important. Something I should have told you a long time ago."Silas leaned in, his heart racing. "What is it, mother?""I was hard on you, Silas, because of the circumstances of your birth," Althea said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Your father is Zemo, the Prince of the Moon Pack Kingdom. When his father found out about the affair between me and his son, he banished me from his kingdom and his son even denied me. I was left to raise you on my own, with no s
As Silas approached the kingdom, he was struck by the sight of the towering walls that surrounded it. The walls were made of solid stone, with watchtowers at regular intervals that rose high into the sky. He could see guards patrolling the ramparts, their silhouettes visible against the bright moonlight. As he got closer, he noticed that the gates were open, and he could see people moving about inside. Silas hesitated for a moment, taking in the scene before him. He knew that this was a dangerous place for him, especially given his history with the Moon Pack. But he was also driven by a deep desire for revenge, and he knew that he had to press on. Taking a deep breath, he walked towards the gate, trying to keep his head down and blend in with the crowd. As he got closer, he felt a sense of unease wash over him. He could feel eyes on him, watching his every move. But he kept his composure and walked through the gates, into the heart of the Moon Pack kingdom. ……………………………………………………… S
Silas passed through the outer walls of the kingdom and entered the inner gate. As he stepped forward, he was greeted with a magnificent sight. The inner gate was a towering structure made of stone, with intricate carvings of wolves and other beasts lining the walls. The gate was wide and sturdy, with iron bars and a wooden door that could easily repel any invaders.Beyond the gate was a spacious courtyard, with manicured lawns and beautiful flower beds. The air was perfumed with the scent of roses and lavender, and the sound of a nearby fountain added a soothing ambiance to the area. The courtyard was flanked by tall buildings, with balconies and terraces that overlooked the central area. Silas could see people going about their daily business, merchants selling their wares, and children playing and laughing in the streets. As he walked further into the kingdom, he saw the grand palace looming ahead. The palace was a sprawling structure made of white stone, with towers and spires tha
Silas woke up in the infirmary, his senses slowly coming back to him. His vision was blurry at first, but as it cleared, he saw Sara, the princess, sitting next to him. Relief washed over her face as she saw that he was awake.Silas tried to sit up, but a wave of pain hit him hard, causing him to wince. He looked down at his chest and saw bandages wrapped tightly around his torso. Memories of the attack flooded his mind, and he grimaced at the thought of how close he had come to death."How long have I been here?" Silas asked Sara, his voice hoarse."Three days," she replied softly, placing a hand on his arm. "You were lucky to survive, Silas. If not for your magical abilities and your strong werewolf genes, you would have been dead instantly."Silas nodded, his mind still reeling from the attack. He tried to remember what had happened, but it was all a blur. Sara seemed to sense his unease and leaned in closer to him."Klaus heard some noise in your room and rushed in, but by the tim
Silas walked down the dark alley, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. He had been in this part of town before, and he knew it was dangerous. But he had to find information, and he couldn't afford to be scared. As he walked, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, but he saw no one. He quickened his pace, and the footsteps quickened too. He unsheathed his sword and turned around, ready to fight.A figure stepped out of the shadows, holding a knife. Silas recognized him as the same man who had tried to kill him the other day. Silas raised his sword, ready to defend himself. But then the man spoke. "Wait," he said. "I don't want to fight. I need to talk to you."Silas lowered his sword, but he kept it in his hand. "Talk then," he said. "But make it quick."The man hesitated, as if trying to find the right words. "My name is Saul," he said finally. "And I think you need to know something."Silas raised an eyebrow. "What could you possibly know that I don't?"Saul took a st
Silas felt a lump form in his throat as Alpha Zemo questioned him. He had been so careful to keep his past a secret, to avoid drawing attention to himself. But it seemed that his cover had been blown. He knew he had to lie, for revealing his true identity would put him in danger. He took a deep breath and composed himself. "I apologize, Alpha Zemo," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I did not mean to deceive you. My name is Silas. My mother's name was Liara," Silas said. "She was married to a skilled warrior but he died before I was born. His brother also was a warrior and he taught me everything I know. As for where I come from, I am from a small pack in the mountains. We were wiped out by a rival pack, very few of us survived and I have been wandering ever since I was a teen wolf."He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "As for my purpose here in your kingdom, Alpha, I came seeking a new home. I have been wandering for many years, trying to find my place in the wor
