Althea stood tall and proud as she faced the king's council but her heart was pounding in her chest as she awaited their judgment. She knew that her love for Prince Zemo had sealed her fate. She could see the disapproving looks on their faces as they whispered amongst themselves. She took a deep breath and prepared herself for what was to come.

King Nobi sat at the head of the table, his eyes fixed on Althea. "Althea, you stand before us accused of the gravest of crimes. You have violated our laws by engaging in a forbidden love affair with Prince Zemo. What do you have to say for yourself?"

Althea met the king's gaze without flinching. "I love Prince Zemo with all my heart, my king. But I understand that our love is forbidden. I am willing to face the consequences of my actions."

The king's council murmured amongst themselves, and Althea could feel their disapproval. She could see Prince Zemo sitting among them, his eyes downcast. She knew that he was struggling with his own emotions, torn between his love for her and his duty to his kingdom.

King Nobi stood up from his chair and addressed the council. "Althea has broken our laws and betrayed our trust. She has shown herself to be unworthy of the title of warrior and the honor of our pack. Therefore, I, King Nobi, banish her from our kingdom. She is no longer welcome among us and must leave immediately."

Althea's heart sank as the weight of the king's words hit her. She turned to look at Prince Zemo, hoping to find some solace in his eyes. But to her horror, he spoke up.

"I agree with my father's decision. Althea has committed a grave offense against our laws and traditions. She must face the consequences of her actions."

Althea's eyes widened in shock and hurt as Zemo's words sank in. Her heart shattered into a million pieces as she heard Zemo's words. She had hoped that he would stand by her, that he would acknowledge their love in spite of the consequences. But now she knew that she was truly alone.  He was denying her, in front of the entire council. She felt like her world was crashing down around her. But she refused to break down in front of them. She straightened her shoulders and spoke firmly.

"I understand, my king," Althea said, her voice steady. "I will leave your kingdom at once."

She turned and walked out of the council chamber, her head held high. She could hear the whispers and jeers of the council as she left, but she refused to let them break her spirit. She would leave this place vengeful, her heart filled with anger and sadness.

As she walked away, Althea felt a deep sense of anger and betrayal towards Zemo. How could he do this to her? How could he deny their love so easily? She knew that she could never forgive him for what he had done. She would leave the kingdom and start anew, but she would never forget the pain and heartbreak that Zemo had caused her.

As she walked away from the kingdom, Althea could feel the weight of her unborn child growing heavier inside her. She knew that she had to protect her child, even if it meant leaving behind the man she loved. She would find a new pack, a new home, and a new life for herself and her child.

She vowed to never forget the betrayal of Prince Zemo and his father, King Nobi. She would return one day, stronger and more powerful than ever before, to claim what was rightfully hers.

………………………………………………………………..

Althea walked for hours, her feet sore and her body tired. She had been traveling for days, ever since she was banished from the kingdom for her forbidden love with Prince Zemo. She had no destination in mind, no plan for the future. She just wanted to escape the pain and heartbreak that had consumed her.

As she walked, she felt a sense of unease growing inside her. She had been on her own for too long, and the world around her felt dangerous and unknown. She knew that she had to be careful, that there were dangers lurking in the shadows.

Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes behind her. She turned around, her heart racing, and saw a group of wolves emerge from the trees. They were a rogue pack, wild and dangerous, with no allegiance to any kingdom or pack. They looked at her with hungry eyes, and Althea knew that she was in trouble.

She tried to fight back, to defend herself as a warrior, but she was outnumbered and overpowered. The wolves pounced on her, knocking her to the ground. Althea kicked and punched, using all the skills she had learned as a warrior, but it was no use. They were too strong.

As they dragged her away, Althea realized that she was completely alone. She had no pack to protect her, no allies to call upon. She was just a nobody, a banished warrior with nowhere to go.

She struggled against her captors, but they were relentless. They seemed to be taking her deeper into the forest, away from any signs of civilization. Althea's heart sank as she realized that she had no idea where they were taking her, or what they planned to do with her.

She tried to reason with them, to plead for her freedom, but they were ruthless. They seemed to take pleasure in her fear and pain, taunting her with their vicious snarls and growls.

As they traveled deeper into the forest, Althea began to lose hope. She knew that she was far from the kingdom, and that no one would come to rescue her. She was completely at the mercy of these rogue wolves, and she feared the worst.

She closed her eyes, trying to calm her racing heart. She prayed for strength, for the courage to face whatever lay ahead. She knew that she was a warrior, even if she had been cast out from her pack. She would fight until her last breath, and never give up hope.

As the rogue wolves led her deeper into the forest, Althea braced herself for the unknown. She was a nobody, a forgotten warrior, but she refused to let them break her spirit. She would fight until the bitter end, and never give up the hope of freedom.

SILAS'S POV I was startled to see my twin in the Moon Pack kingdom. Beyond all reason, he should not be here.“Hello, brother. Do you miss me?”Saul repeated.“Oh, no! This is not real. I must be dreaming like before. This must be a bad bad dream.”I said, while holding my head as if trying to come out of an hallucination but I somehow, I know that this is different. This is real.“Oh, I promise you brother. This is not a dream. So, tell me. How have you been?”He asked me.“What are you doing here, Saul? Why did you have to kill these people?”I demanded him.“You know, let me give you a short background story so that maybe you will understand why I did what I did.”He started, even as he held our father hostage. I couldn't move an inch because I know that Saul must have gotten so powerful to be able to take down all these wolves all on his own. I can't trust myself to be able to rescue father before it was too late. I had no other choice than to indulge him.“When I got out of the

The curse made me stronger and faster. Although I was out of control, but I found my way around it. I got to be better than I was father. And do you know why? It's because one day I was going to face you. And I was going to tell you that you are the reason why I am like this.”I said to him.“I want to ask you a question, son. Where is Saul? Where is your twin? Did he also agree to this madness?”He asked. “That is not your concern now. Your own concern should be how you are going die well.”I responded.Suddenly the door opened and I rushed to father's said and held him by the neck. Before he could move himself, I cautioned him.“There's a pin I'm holding close to your neck. It's called the devil's pin. I'm sure that you have heard of it before, right? Any sudden movement and I am it to your neck. This time, no c

SILAS'S POV “Grisha.”I called out to the chief's guard. He wanted to blatantly ignore me, but I kept on calling his name, irrespective. He got frustrated and turned to me.“Beta Silas, when someone does not respond to you, it clearly means that they want to have nothing to do with you.”He said to me, angrily.“I know that, but J really need to confirm something with you.”I said to him. It was obvious that I was not going to let him rest until I have spoken my mind to him, so he allowed me to talk.“What is it?”He asked me.“For how long was I gone for?”The expression on his face showed that he really think that there was something wrong with him.“What is wrong with you?”He asked me.“Would you believe me if I told you that I have no idea how long I was gone for? Would you believe if I told you that I was probably knocked out for most of my journey home?”I asked him.“I see that you always have the perfect excuse for every situation. SARA'S POV “So, what do you want to do? Is he going to be your new heir? Or will you just leave him be?”I asked my father as I closed my eyes. I don't even know what to think anymore.“I really do not know. I am scared.”He responded to me. I obviously did not expect that answer from him.“Well, that's the first.”I commented.“Yea.”My father responded. I shifted my gaze back to him.“I want to ask you a sincere question.”“I’m all ears.”“How long have you known that Silas was your son? And is that the reason why you were hell bent on trying to separate us from the onset?”When I asked the question, he shifted his body to face me too. I want to say that this is the closest time I have ever being intimate with my father. I can feel that he can tell me absolutely anything that I ask of him tonight with very little resistance.“I have never known or had the slightest idea that Silas was my son up until the day we got attacked by that creature. SARA'S POV As I moved closer to the infirmary and I was about to enter the entrance, I was accosted by one of the nurses that worked there. She looked very frantic and apprehensive. “What is it, Jane? I thought I asked you not to leave the Alpha's side for a minute. Why are you here?”I demanded from her. “I'm sorry, my princess, but you said that I should not leave the Alpha unless it is an emergency and I'm afraid this is an emergency.”She replied. I did not wait for her to complete her statement. I just pushed her aside and walked to the room where my father was staying and I could not help but be worried about what I would find there. The last time I left his side, there was almost no change in his condition at all and he had slipped back into coma after muttering Silas' name several times. What if he has given up the ghost? There will be a lot of unanswered questions. When I got to the room, instead of seeing an empty bed or father being covered in sheets, I saw him awake and

  • A Warrior's Vengeance   Chapter seventy three: My wolf and I

SILAS'S POV It felt so refreshing to always have a voice that you can communicate with back and forth. A voice that, although is quite aggressive, but will always have your best interest at heart. I will no longer deal with any form of quietness again. It felt oddly peaceful too. But I will get used to it as soon as possible.I looked around the springs of Zadia. The fountain where I drank from said that I would be hallucinating for days, so if this is real and I'm out of the hallucination phase, this would literally mean that I have spent way longer time than I intended to spend here. I needed to catch up.“Are you ready, wolf? I think I need to give you a name, don't you think?”I asked him.“Whatever you say.”“What kind of name do I give you..?”I was thinking, then I remembered the colour of my wolf. I loved how dark and shinny he was when I met him in the void. I know that I just had to give him a unique name. And I think I have just found the name!“I know what I will give you
