I had written off everything she felt as jealousy and nothing more. Because of the forbidden ritual, I had been locked in place—my entire awareness narrowed to that one toxic woman. Inside the hidden vampire mansion, the rooms were dark and very cold. Lord Lucas sat on his large bed while three beautiful vampire women tried to make him feel good.
