CHAPTER TEN.
(Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . .•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth gasped as she woke up, holding her head as a terrible migraine shot through her. She sat up straight on the bed she was laying on, looked around the whole room and noticed that the room was the same room she'd seen herself in the time after the party. She then remembered everything the stranger had told her and how he said Vampires were real. At first she thought it was impossible and the stranger was just insane; but then he proved it to her. She facepalmed herself and began to question if everything she knew about life were just lies. And Indeed, she thought, life was full of mysteries that most humans were either ignorant of or unaware of."You're awake," a masculine voice stated, and Elizabeth took her gaze to where the voice came from. She saw a masculine silhouette resting on the wall, and she couldn't exactly see him because that area of the room was a bit dark. "I thought you'd never wake up?""And who are you?" Elizabeth questioned looking around the room to see if there wasn't another person there. "Did I faint again?"The man came out of the shadows, revealing a man who looked like he was in his early twenties. He was wearing a black turtleneck that hugged his abs and chest, and really tight black jeans and one could even see the outline of his man penis. She recognized him to be the man who she'd seen when she'd first gotten to the mansion — though he was in a suit then."Yes, you fainted," the man replied, standing next to the bed Elizabeth was seated on. "I'm here on the Master's order, I've been told to keep an eye on you."Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Not like I know how to escape from here." She stood up from the bed and she regretted doing that because she staggered and almost tripped but thankfully the man was quick to catch her before her face could collide with the floor.Elizabeth stared at his face as she studied his facial features, pale skin, clean shaven chin, strawberry blonde hair, eyes and furrowed brows. He looked like those models you'd see on a magazine front page."Whose room is this?" She asked. "Are you. . .are you the same person I saw earlier?" she asked as he helped her sit on the bed."I am Darius and who you met earlier was my twin brother, Damien." Darius said, staring at the lady in front of him. "I am also a vampire, just in case you're curious to know that." As Darius said those words Elizabeth struggled to move to the other end of the bed."Do. . .don't come near me!" she said, breathing shakily. She remembered those scary stories she listened to when she was little that Vampires were cold blooded creatures and most importantly, they sucked blood. Her heart was beating very fast and Darius could hear it. He knew she was scared.Elizabeth could already remember, clearly, what had happened to her at the party she went to with Freya. She was already fed up with all the encounters she had been having with supernatural creatures."Hey, hey!" Darius said, "We vampires aren't as cruel as you humans portray us in those silly novels, although there are some vampires who you wouldn't want to cross paths with." Darius tried to explain as Elizabeth stared."And are you one of them?" She asked curiously as she gripped the bed sheets tightly."If I was one of them, you would have been sucked dry. But I have taste and I don't drink just any blood." He said, staring at her as she tried to cover her neck from his view. "You don't look delicious. You kinda repel me, no offense."As soon as she heard him say his last statement, a surge of relief flowed through her whole being. Just the fact that he wasn't interested in sucking her blood made her feel less queasy. Although she was a bit morbid by his choice of words."Maybe it's because of the mosquito repellant cream I have been using since I was little," she muttered to herself as she sniffed her hand. She did smell of mosquito repellent, admittedly.Darius grinned at her as she shook his head. "I guess I'm not a big fan of mosquito repellent then."As he said those words, the door fell open, revealing the Master Vampire — Elbert. Darius watched Elbert walk into the room, closing the door behind."Master, you're here." He said, staring at his uncle.Elbert said nothing in response, and as if on cue, Darius left the room, leaving the master and Elizabeth alone. The master was clad in a black top and a black pants. He was wearing his beanie as usual, although he had taken his sunshades off, exposing his scary red eyes to Elizabeth. After a long staring contest, Elizabeth looked away, stared at feet's as she blurted. "When can I go home? "She asked, staring at the Master."I'm sorry, but I can't release you until Damien comes back from where I sent him to " He replied calmly, looking around the room. The room was his, but as long as Elizabeth was in his abode, the room belonged to her."And when is Damien coming back? ""Unfortunately, I have no idea."He said as Elizabeth continued to stare at her feet as tears suddenly filled her eyes up. She carefully laid down on the bed as she cried into the soft pillow. She didn't need anyone to tell her that her life was in the hands of the vampires.•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Damien drove down to the address Gabriel had given to him, and when he reached the intersection of the street, he parked his car and got down from it as he decided to walk the remaining distance. As he walked down the street, he stared at it in absolute disgust, "Humans," he muttered as he took his gaze to the waste bin filled with flies right at the front of a house.Suddenly Damien walk came to an halt when he sighted someone that perfectly fitted the description of Freya, Elizabeth best friend. The lady was outside the address of the house Gabriel had given to him, watering some flowers. He kept staring at the lady for sometime, and as if Freya knew someone was staring at her, she turned her head backwards and her gaze met with Damien's. Her eyes widened on seeing she had an intruder, so she dropped the hose to the floor and crossed her arms around her chest, bending down next to the flowers. She was wearing shorts that showed her butt cheeks with a light singlet that did well to show the world she was braless, and that was why she bent down using the flowers as cover.Damien chuckled on seeing the acts she was trying to pull. He then walked further until he was right in front of her, "I can clearly see you, you know?""Who the hell are you?" Freya asked, standing up.Damien put his hands in his pockets, giving Freya a once-over. "If you know what hell is like you wouldn't be using it to cuss," he mumbled before adding, quite loudly, "Hm, are you Freya?""Seriously, who are you?" Freya asked, wondering how he knew her name.Damien's eyes lingered on Freya's body for quite some time. "Take a quick guess." He said as Freya studied him.To her he was too handsome to be a burglar, or a thief but he could be an assassin. "Who sent you here to kill me?" Freya asked suspiciously.Damien chuckled once again, studying her. She looked feisty but underneath that, he knew she was scared by his presence. Even intimidated. "Do you think someone's after your life?" Freya shook her head in declination. "So why would you think I'm here to kill you? If I really was, then darling, I'd just snipe you out when I was staring at you from afar." he said.Sighing, Freya asked, "Fine, who are you?""I'm your secret admirer."Freya burst into laughter. "Yeah, right. You? Crushing on me? I wish.""You shouldn't underestimate yourself," he said, "I think you're likable, so what makes you think someone as handsome as me can't crush on you?" Damien asked.Freya shrugged. "Then will this handsome stranger be willing to give me his number?""I thought you would never ask."They both exchanged numbers and just when Damien was about to leave, Freya stopped him. "What's your name? I didn't get it but you know mine."A coyly smile made its way to Damien's face as he replied to Freya. "Just call me mystery guy, Freya." he said, walking off, leaving Freya dumbfounded.CHAPTER ELEVEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Damien placed his hand on the wheel, trying to banish all thoughts of Freya from his mind. He shouldn’t be attracted to any woman whatsoever. All he should think about should be having them in his beds and arms. But, even as he thought this it was so difficult to get her out of his mind.He steered the car into his home and got out. This was the perfect camouflage to act like he was normal, at least till he got the truth out of Freya. Two vampires were stationed at the door, as he stepped into the threshold. They greeted him, but he didn’t respond. He walked blindly to his room and shut the door behind him. Everything here was dark, but his glowing eyes made it easy to navigate the room. Damien hated the light and anything to do with it. “Damn it!” He cursed fluidly. He walked over to his mini bar and brought out a whiskey bottle, which didn’t contain whisky. It was filled to the brim with blood; human blood. Without bothering
CHAPTER TWELVE.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth stared at the master. He was indeed standing right there in the flesh. Yet, she stupidly looked at the chair he had just vacated, believing that he had split in twos. There was nothing there, other than a dangling chair.“Relax,” the master said easily.Elizabeth swallowed. “How do I relax? This is too much for my small head to wrap around. I know you’ve said what you are. But, deep down, I thought you were bluffing. Eh, no, I hoped you were bluffing! But, I guess that’s not true,” she said in horror.Elbert simply looked at her, there was no sign of amusement in his eyes, but strangely Elizabeth felt she saw kindness in the master’s eyes. It was a strange thought because the master was a vampire, and should not be capable of showing such feelings.“Let’s sit. You need to regain some control of your emotions,” he said calmly. She allowed him to lead her to a chair, opposite his. Her eyes touched the whole chair to be
CHAPTER THIRTEEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elbert, the master vampire lay with his head staring at the dark ceiling. He had switched on a blue translucent bulb, as he waited patiently for Damian to come to him.The door creaked open, and the younger vampire stepped into the room. Elbert did not steer. He was like a mannequin at that very moment, and it sent shivers up the younger vampire’s back.“Tell me, Damian,” Elbert said simply.“She is safe,” Damien said in reverence, his head bowed to the ground. They were talking about Elizabeth. Elbert knew that she was safe, he had followed them without them knowing it. But, he wanted to enquire about something else that left him in angst.“Then, why are you here so late? Where were you?” Did he ask coldly?Damian looked up just then, and Elbert could see the sorrow infused in them. What could have happened that brought such anguish to Damian? He waited patiently for the truth to unfold.“I was called over to the outskirts of
CHAPTER FOURTEEN(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•The moment Elizabeth shut the door behind them, Elbert spun her around to face him. His hands were cold, as cold as ice. She wondered how he wasn’t shivering. But that thought would have to be stalled in the face of the drama that was ongoing now.“We need to do something,” she said abruptly.“I don’t think bringing me up like this to your room is going to solve anything,” Elbert said instead.Elizabeth huffed in response. She didn’t need a class on how to act, especially not in this situation. There were a lot of things that were going off the charts, and she couldn’t understand. But, one thing she knew for a surety was that she was not going to get her mom harmed in any way or form.“And, giving me this lecture isn’t going to solve anything. You have to understand that what we need is to figure out a way to leave this place,” she said in exasperation.Elbert gave her space as he moved to the other side of the room. His finger

You truly are as silly as always,” she teased.“I’m sorry. I was caught up with something. Did you want something?” She asked stiffly.Elizabeth gave her one of her looks. “Do I need anything to see my best friend?” She queried.A nervous laugh. “I was joking,” Freya mumbled.Elizabeth playfully hit her friend on the arm. “I know. Who was that man?” Freya shifted her gaze from her, and gave a nervous shrug. “It was nobody. Tell me why you’re here,” she said firmly.Elizabeth stopped herself from looking towards the direction of the vampire master. Freya mustn’t know that she was going with him for whatever reason. “Well," she said absently. "I felt you must have been worried because you didn’t see me that night. I wanted to tell you that I

A bulky man who looked like he was in his late forties stood by the door with a poker face as he stared at Damien. "And what is a zombie doing at my doorstep?" He asked, now adorning a smug smile."I'm here to seek for someone," Damien said, ignoring the mans statement about him being a zombie. "Is there anyone who bears the name Gabriel?""Why do you want to know?" The bulky man asked instantly with a scary frown on his face.Damien rolled his eyes, he was already getting tired of the man's questioning and unappealing visage so he decided to do what the Master had warned him aga
