EVASimply seeing her around makes my blood boil. Especially when she has that irritating smile on her face. KATHERINE “I didn’t break a bone, did I?” Imagine an emergency your brother fell from the staircase and lost his consciousness but coming in, the first thing you heard him ask was whether or not he broke a bone. I tried not to let him see how pissed I am but, how could he be so careless?“You ain’t thankful you got to wake up after the accident. All you’re concerned about is if you broke a bone. KATHERINE “And what are you doing?”I spun around, my cheeks warming with embarrassment. I hadn’t meant to get caught snooping, especially by Bryson whom I barely see this days. And I definitely wasn’t ready to reveal my newfound sensitivity to scents. Not yet at least.
