“Don’t tell me you did this because… you’re jealous?” Derek asked, his eyes mainly focused on me.

Whereas mine was glued to the floor, where the door now lies. I still can’t get over the shock that reverberated my body when he brought the door down. Not just a door but one belonging to an hotel.

I know he’s stinking rich but this wasn’t a door he keratin can just bring down anyhow. I get… it’s my suite but I’m not worried since he’d be the one to eventually pay for the damage but the fact that he caused the damage because of me is terrifying.

And unacceptable.

“That’s what you’re concerned about? You brought down a door for goodness sake.” I almost screamed as I looked back at him.

“Tell me why you locked the door and refused to open knowing full well I was worried.” He shoved away my comment and stated, looking so serious and defiant.

Knowing full well he wasn’t going to back down until I have answered, I sighed, “I want a breathing space that’s why I locked the door.
