I remained behind him as he led the way inside the tall, giant building.

I made sure I wasn’t faster than him, that too, all because of guilt. When I held his hand back at the car, he was just like a scorching hot fire. The rate at which I snapped my hand away from his still laid fresh in my memory…

And the look he gave me was one that could have casted me under the ground, to die there and never come out.

I know, that was very stupid of me but the deed had been done before I realized it.

I almost crashed my head against his back when he stopped abruptly before a door at the least expected time.

“Lead her to her room.” He casually signaled one of the men around before disappearing inside the room, closing the door behind him.
