Violet POVA few hours and a restless nap later, I woke up to the plane landing. Impatient to get out of the plane and book a cab to the location where the boys were staying, I switched on my phone. It was no surprise that there were numerous missed calls from Dane, Dave, and Jackson and then some texts. I knew Dane was extremely angry, and I really didn’t want to face his anger, so I sent him a message: Landed in Miami. The three dots on my phone soon came to life. Dane was furiously typing. Suddenly, the dots stopped and my stomach twisted into knots. Did he choose to end our conversation? My phone rang, and despite feeling extremely nervous, I was flooded with relief. When I picked up the call, he growled, “You went against my orders!” I swallowed saliva down my throat and licked my lips. “Dane, you know how I feel about it.
