Violet POV

Sunday was filled with anxiety as we desperately tried to reach Billy and Joe, but they never responded to our countless calls. There was not a minute when I didn’t check my messages or calls. Eventually, my worry was so overwhelming that I couldn't bring myself to eat the food on my plate.

Though Dane had said that the boys were from his ally pack and that he had to find them because he valued his allies but for me it wasn’t about the allies. It was about the two innocent boys who were lost somewhere. Damn it. I was lost.

“Violet,” Dane said as he placed the spoon on the plate. “I understand your worry. My wolves are already hunting them. We have informed the relevant authorities in the human world and they are on it.”

“Relevant authorities?” I asked with a frown.

He nodded. “There’s a small group of humans who know of our existence and these are highly placed individuals. Some are in the government, while some are rich businessmen. There’s a treaty amongst the werew
