Urgency

Violet POV

The plane touched land in the evening and Alpha Dane gathered me in his arms to take me to the car that was waiting for us. I didn’t realize the kind of tiredness my body was experiencing because even though Dane took me to the bedroom and made me lie on the mattress, I just rolled on my side and went off to sleep.

When I woke up next, I found Dane looking at me intensely. He had his head resting over his hand, propped up over his elbow. He was staring at me with such intensity that my chest warmed. “Dane…” I whispered and shifted towards him to cuddle up. He curled his arm around me and rested his head over mine. He whispered something, but I was too sleepy to understand that. I went back to sleep.

The heat in the room must have gone higher because I felt I was sweating. Taking a deep breath in, I opened my eyes and realized that he had locked me with his body. His face was hidden in my neck as he draped one arm and leg over me, creating a tight embrace. I needed to pee
