Alpha Irvin's words left me so unsettled that I couldn't stop trembling. Dane had my hand in his lap, tightly squeezed, and I was leaning on his arm to stop the tornado of emotions I was going through. I knew my story couldn’t be pretty, but I wanted to know, nonetheless.
