When Milo stiffened next to me, I was sure that he knew Alex’s location. And I needed to know where Alex was because that was crucial to my plan.

I placed my hand on his chest and stuck my boobs to his side. “Alex owes me ten thousand dollars. He stole them from me. I know he’s stashed them somewhere and only he can lead me there.” The story I cooked up was enticing for a pimp like Milo.

“Who are you?” he asked, raising an eyebrow with suspicion flitting across his face. But I could see the greediness in his eyes.

I dropped my gaze to his lips. “Someone you would benefit immensely from. Just lead me to Alex and I’ll give three thousand dollars from the stash.”

“Four thousand,” he counter-offered.

I laughed. “Done.” There was no money. But the bait was superb.
