                                                   A box of old letters was found from Dorinda Aseron’s treasure chest by three of her youngest great-grandaughters who were all named after her. Riri, Doreen and Indy were looking for old photographs of their parents at the attic of Aseron Castillo when they found the old dark wood chest. Riri, the most daring of the three opened the chest. Doreen, the hopeless romantic squealed with glee when they saw a diary. But it was wise Indy who found the box of old letters.          They started reading the letters and soon found out that the latest letter was sent just a few months ago.                                                           “HELLO, Johnny!” Ginulat si Johnny ng masiglang tinig ni Riri mula sa likuran niya habang kinukumpuni niya ang lumang bike niya. Nasa dating garahe siya nila na ipinasara na ng ama niya at ginawa na lang bodega dahil sa paniniwalang hindi siya makikita ng makulit na bubwit na ito doon pero bigo pa rin pala siyang mataguan ito.    “Paano mo nalaman na nandito ako?”          “Sinabi ni Ninang Dita syempre.”                       &n

                                                               “YOU know what?!” tulad ng inaasahan ni Johnny, hindi na napigilan ni Riri na basagin ang katahimikang namamayani sa backseat habang pauwi na sila galing sa shop ng Tita Teree nito.          Sa halip na sumagot ay ihinilig lang niya ang ulo sa sandalan at pumikit. Nababakas sa tinig nito ang pagkairita dahil mula pa kanina sa shop ng sikat na designer ay puros monosyllables ang itinugon niya sa bawat tanong nito.
