Laura's POV

The tears that slipped from my eyes couldn't propel me to move forward and perhaps land a slap on Agatha's disgusting cheeks —How could she? Me? Poisoning her?

Eric stared at me with anger flashing in his eyes, and I could swear my legs went weak. Only God knows what it took for me not to fall on my feet merely staring at his raging eyes—I mean he has been angry before, but it hasn't hit differently this way before.
