My name is--- cut that crap. Oh no! I don't mean my name is ' cut that crap'; I just wanted to sound badass. "I know you're in there Adeline, come out now and give me my money!" He yelled, and I squinted my eyes. If you wonder what sort of landlord would knock at his tenant's door in the middle of the night asking for his money, then it's Mr. Wendy! I came out from under the bed that I had squeezed myself in and waited to hear something, but I couldn't. I silently hoped that he hadn't passed out at my front door. Well, it wasn't the first time it would be happening. I gently walked towards the door and placed my ear against the door, and yes, he had passed out on my front door. I walked back to my bed and laid on it, still careful not to make any kind of noise.

The next day I woke up and gently peeped outside to see if the landlord was still there, but alas, luck was on my side today. I quickly stepped into my bathroom and had a quick bath, after which I pulled out my clothing box and wore blue jeans, pairing them with a green sweater, and tied my hair into a ponytail. I grabbed my bag and carefully unlocked the door. I peeped outside, and all coast was clear, so I walked out of the house, but I stopped dead in my tracks on hearing the man's voice, "Adeline! You're three months behind on my payment. I won't remind you after this again. Instead, I will throw you out of the house next time." He says, and I turned to look at the man who had an Icebag on his head. that serves you right, Mr. Krabs. "I'm sorry, MR Wendy, I will give you your payment soon. Just have a little more time for me."I said, and he smirked, "You know there are other means that I collect for payment?" He hinted at me, and I shuddered internally *I would rather swallow a live chicken than do whatever it was that he was hinting at me*. "There would be absolutely no need for that, Mr. Wendy. I told you that I would get you your money as soon as possible," I said and walked away as fast as MY legs could take her. Now you may be wondering just where it is that I am going to. Well, I have a best friend who works in the GIVENCHY club. Why did they call it Givenchy? Simple the owner loved designer products.

I walked as fast as my legs could take me and soon I arrived at the club. I breathed a sigh of relief as I cleaned the sweat pores on my forehead. " You are here earlier than usual today?" I heard Natalie's voice and rolled my eyes " Is my coming here affecting you? I asked, and she smiled, such a clean and perfect smile. show off! " Of course not. Why would I be affected by you coming to the club? She asked, and I rolled internally. "Where is Eva?" I asked, and she started to pick her nails.

"How would I know?" she said, and I rolled my eyes for the umpteenth time. "Whatever you say, Nat.' I said and walked away, looking for Eva. "You are here early." I heard Eva's voice and turned around to look at her. "I very well know that, and you don't need to the point that out." I snapped at the blonde lady, who immediately started to laugh. "Did you meet Nat while coming in?" she asked me, and I nodded, "I mean, she is so full of herself and annoying." I said, and Eva raised her eyebrows " I know right, She's more like this" Eva stood aside and flipped her hair while picking her nails 'The boss said I am the best dancer here, the boss said I am the prettiest one here, the boss said this, the boss said that.' She said, and I started to laugh at seeing her imitation of Natalie. It was more than a correct imitation of Natalie.

"On a more serious note, why are you here so early?" Eva asked me, and I sighed. "MR WENDY, "I told her, and she groaned. "House rent?" she said, and I nodded. "I have told you times without a number to come to stay with me." She said, and I snorted, "Eva, you already stay with three people in a room. I can't possibly come there and inconvenience the rest of you now, can I?" I said, and she sighed, "We will come up with something that will allow/make it easier for you to come to stay with us." Eva said, and I smiled. "Eva, you don't need to worry about me so much, I will definitely sort everything out, but for now, I would have to spend the entire day here, and don't worry, I would help you in whatever way that I can, "I said, and she smiled.

I have known for about ten years now, we met at the mall where we were arguing about a pair of shoes, it was the only one remaining on the shelf, and we both wanted to pay for it, an argument erupted from there. Still, we eventually became friends, She became my best friend, and I don't ever want to think about how my life would ever be like without her in it. "Adeline, You're are here so early?" I heard Bounty say and turned to look at him, Now don't ask me what his parents were thinking about when they named him Bounty. "Bounty." She greeted the muscular-looking man who smiled at her. "I am here to help Eva with her work," I told him, and he nodded.

Eva stared dreamily at Bounty as he walked past her. Okay, let me let you in on a bit of a secret. Eva had a massive crush on Bounty, but instead, Bounty was interested in Natalie, which irks not just me but everyone in the club. "You can stop staring now." I told her, and she sighed dreamily, "He is just so manly and beautiful and muscular and sexy..imagine that large hand of his wrapped around my neck. arrrgh 'choke me daddy.' she says seductively and I rolled my eyes " you better come out of that daze that you are in before I actually choke you to death." I said, and she stuck her tongue out at me. "It's not my fault that you don't have an active sexual life," she said, and I sneered at her. "How can I have a sex life when my life isn't even in order.?" I say, and she smiled "come on, it's really not that bad," she said, and I chuckled. "Maybe when you have your landlord knocking on your door at 2 am at midnight asking for his house rent, then you would understand just how bad it is," I say, and she touched my hand. "How about the interview you went for last week?" she asked me, and I shrugged. "They said they would get back to me. I am still expecting." I told her, and she smiled. "I am extremely sure they will," she said and continued with her work for the day while I continued to send my resume to other companies.

It was already night now and the club had opened, I sat by the bar stand while people trooped into the club. "You have been here all day, don't you have anything better to do?" I heard Natalie say and rolled my eyes "Arent you supposed to be dancing or something?" I said and she smiled, walking away. Eva passed me a glass of tequila and I looked at her confused "Who should I give it to?" I asked and she groaned "Drink it, Adeline, Try and let loose for some while and forget all about your problem." she said and I started to laugh over the extremely loud music. "two bottles of vodka." A young blonde man asked and she nodded, getting him his drink while I kept the glass of tequila on the stand "Drink it, Adeline, forget your worries and sorrow for tonight and just be free." She told me and I thought about it. it didn't seem like such a bad idea. Wait! was I actually contemplating drinking this? I looked at her face and boy was she not smiling so wildly "Come on Adele, it isn't such a bad idea as you think." She whispered and I rolled my eyes, I let down my ponytail and combed my hair with my fingers. "FINE! MAMA IS GETTING SOME ALCOHOL TONIGHT" I say and she chuckled, I took the glass and gulped it down at once. "Another one," I said and wiped the back of my hand against my mouth as she poured me another. I smiled and took it from her but then paused "Who is paying?" I asked and she chuckled 'I am' She replied me and I gulped down the entire drink, my head had started to feel whooshy from just two glasses. Curse you alcohol. "Maybe, just maybe mama would be getting some dick tonight." Eva said and I raised my eyebrows "You're hooking up with Bounty." I asked and she rolled her eyes. "No silly, You are hooking up with someone. check out that gorgeous specimen over there." She said and I raised my eyebrows. I turned to look in the direction she was gesturing at and my jaw fell open. Oh BOY! this was one hell of a fionee specimen, "He has been checking you out ever since." She said and gasped a little "he's coming over, gotta go now, Byee" She said and walked away. I groaned internally and braced myself for the hot specimen coming over. due to the loud music, I couldn't hear him walk toward me but then again, I could perceive his cologne 'P.S; DON'T ASK ME HOW "Hello." I heard the fine specimen say and I immediately turned around to see him "I'm single and ready to mingle." I blurted out and pinched myself on the wrist. 'curse your alcohol, I will never take you again.' I yelled internally. I heard the man chuckle and I looked at him in awe. even his laughter was beautiful.
