Laura's POV

Seething my teeth in anger, I grasped the hems of my dress as I stared at Agatha who looked nonchalant, taking up the slice of plantains Sasha was serving her with.

I was sure she's probably enjoying this kind of special treatment because she wouldn't stop smiling and giggling at some point like someone who'd achieved a special result. When she glanced up at me, I was tempted to look away but no, I didn't —Apparently, I glared back at her as she licked her lips in like she was the predator and I was her prey.

God forbade.

Honestly, it felt weird sitting alone at the dinning table with Agatha after what she had done and accused me of. I let out a sigh—Not like Eric was buying my truth anyway. Until now, he still sees me like the lady who attempted to take his sister's life and would even distance himself from me. Jeez. I would rather not think of it knowing Agatha was right opposite me, food stuffed in her mouth with her eyes all over me as if keeping a watchful eye on me.
