Laura's POV

Chatting with Rena was lively and fun. We went all places together after the restaurant. Indeed, I missed a friend —Rena.

And finally, she departed after informing me on the date to be fixed for her wedding with Nate. Nate was her man, actually.

Flynn successfully drove me back home as I came out, strolling into the mansion.

“Where are you coming from?” Someone's voice came from behind, and I almost jolted in fear. My face contorted to a frown when I saw it was no one but pestering Agatha.

“And where I'm coming from isn't any of your business, Agatha.” I replied, and made to walk away when she suddenly started clapping.

“Wow, bravo, Laura, bravo. You've been getting the guts lately, aren't you?” She retorted.

“Won't you give up, Agatha? There's nothing we can sit and discuss when we both know the results. And oh please, stop trying to interrogate me because I owe you no explanation.” I said to her and finally walked away. I glanced over my shoulders to see her fuming f
