Laura's POV

At first, I wanted to ignore Aaron's message and act like I didn't read a thing till his message popped in again.

“Are you ignoring my message after reading?” The message read on his voice again and my face scrunch up at his demand. Why was he sounding so persistent and commanding? Like he was ruling me or something.

Grudgingly, I found my way to the lobby and like he said, he was actually waiting there, staring at a particular direction —The poolside where Eric actually goes to swim or cool his head whenever he felt he couldn't disclose his problems to anyone, including me.

He turned in my direction when he noticed I walked into the lobby, my body stiffened but I stood on my ground. I was going to let him treat me like I was his puppet.

“What are you doing her, Aaron? Do you not realize the risk you'd be causing if Eric was actually here?” I blurted out angrily, and he smiled.
