Chapter Seven (Naomi)

"When you get hungry please let me know and I will put something together for you" Alexis's cook Lisa said before walking out of Alexis bedroom

I didn't get a chance to respond because I was in awe of the room, it was huge and decorated in all white decor. I walked over to the closet and opened the double doors "wow" I said as I looked at the rows of clothes most still with the tag on. I flipped one of the tags over to check the price "four hundred dollars for a shirt thats insane"

I walked further into the closet and looked over the racks of shoes and accessories she basically has a store for a closet 

Buzz Buzz

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I pulled it out and looked at the text I received 

Alexis: HELP!! your family is driving me crazy

I chuckled at her messaged and walked over to the bed to sit down. As I sat down another message came thru 

Alexis: Your sister is weird she keeps asking me stupid questions ughh

I clicked her contact name and pressed call, the phone rang once before she picked up

"whats going on?" I asked 

"ugh took you long enough but your family is soooo annoying and your room is a mess jeez you should really get a maid"

"I do have a maid" 

"well where are they" 

"look in the mirror" I said laughing 

"haha so funny but seriously I have to clean up"

"yeah it won't kill you. How is everyone?"

"Your brother drooled on me, your sister kept asking about Alexis on the drive home and told me how she really felt about me plus your parents keep asking if im okay. I finally was able to retreat to your messy room for privacy"

"My brother is one so he drools big deal, my sister is my best friend so of course she hates you and my parents just care about me like parents should" 

She got quiet for a moment "uh well did my parents call the house phone because they haven't called my cell"

"no, but maybe they don't have good signal where they are or maybe they are on the way home now"

"I doubt it but anyway lets talk about tomorrow"

I wanted to say more but clearly talking about her parents was a touchy subject for her "yeah so whats the plan for after school, meet up at the gym?"

"yeah sure we'll get to that last first things first, what will you be wearing tomorrow"

"I-"

Before I could finish my sentence she continued "wear the light pink crop top, black mini skirt with my black kitten heels and light pink cashmere sweater the short one not the long one"

"woah heels no you want me to walk around school in heels"

"yes I do it all the time"

"no I'll accept the outfit but I'm wearing flats"

"no flats what are you in the eighth grade, I followed your instructions I was nice to your family even though I wanted to scream"

I sighed "fine but if I fall and break your neck it will be your fault"

"whatever, so what do you want me to wear"

"um doesn't matter just throw something on" 

"okay, well I'm exhausted I'll text you Taylors and Shellys address tomorrow morning now I'm going to bed"

"okay nite"

I placed the phone down and walked over to the big window and glanced out the curtain. Across the street I could see a boy clean out his car, oh wow Alexis didn't say anything about this view I thought as I watched him 

I pulled my phone out and texted her hey whose the cutie across the street 

Alexis: Thats Tyler cute but off limits, hes shellys crush

I rolled my eyes at her text message Shellys lost my gain I thought as I grabbed a jacket and walked down the stairs "I'll be back in a bit" I said to Lisa who was chopping up vegtables 

"yes ma'am" 

I walked out the door and started walking across the street, as I got closer I got a good look at him tall, brownskin and handsome yes "hi" I said once I was close enough 

He turned around and looked at me confused "whats up"

"nothing much, I'm Na- um Alexis" I said holding my hand out for him to shake, he shook my hand 

"I know who you are just surprised you're talking to me"

"why surprised?" I asked

"because usually your friend talks to me, the one with the big eyes" 

I laughed at his description of shelly "well now I want to talk to you"

"ight cool, well I'm Tyler" he said while grabbing a Nike bag from his backseat 

"what are you doing"

"I was looking for my basketball shoes, but I think I might've left them in the gym locker room" He stood straight up and threw the bag over his shoulder "well it was nice to officially meet you" 

"you too" I said smiling and walking back to Alexis house Tyler.. how come I never saw him before
