Chapter Three

"What the fuck is your problem with me" I yelled at Alexis once I saw all the girls empty out the gym. I told Taylor I would just take the bus because I was too angry to sit in a car ride with her.

She put her sweatshirt on and ignored me. When she went to pick up her gym bag I grabbed it "give me my bag" she said rolling her eyes at me 

"not until you tell me what the fuck your problem is, you know I'm good so put your beef to the side and be a fucking cheer captain for once"

She blew out an irritated breath and held her hand out for her bag, I threw it at her face and walked out of the locker room; I could hear her feet rushing behind me "you stupid little bitch"

I turned around and walked towards her "watch your fucking mouth before I punch you in it" I said then I turned back around and started heading for the gym exit I knew I shouldn't have tried out for this stupid team I thought to myself 

"you people always turn to violence don't you" she said behind me 

I ignored her ignorant remark and stepped outside it was pouring down raining just great I thought as I started speed walking across the grass I could hear the school doors open and slam close.

"you'll never be on my squad and I'll make sure of it" I heard Alexis yell behind me 

I threw my hands up and flicked her off "fuck you and your team" I continued trying to walk but the soaked grass made it hard to speed walk without slipping and sliding "Ow woah" I said as I started falling to the ground I turned to see Alexis standing a couple steps behind me 

"did you just push me" I yelled so she could hear me over the loud rain

She shrugged her shoulders and tried to walk around me, but I grabbed her ankle and pulled her down with me "GET OFF OF ME" she screamed and struggled to stand up. I held her ankle to keep myself from sliding into a ditch "you fucking psycho let me go NOW!"

I loosed the grip I had on her ankle and she broke free. When we both stood up we were covered in mud and grass "you started it why would you push me"

She attempted to clean some of the dirt of her sweatshirt to no avail "whatever now I'm disgusting so I hope your happy" she started half stepping past me, once her back was turned I shoved her but she was able to grab my wrist at the last second and pulled me down with her. 

We started to roll and roll down hill towards a ditch filled with dirty water "AHHH" I screamed and started grabbing at the grass to find something to stop the fall, my hands searched the wet grass before I finally felt something metal hit my thumb I quickly grabbed onto it and used to pull myself back upwards 

Alexis noticed I had stopped rolling and grabbing onto my leg making it hard for me to pull myself up. I looked down at her "let go of my leg" I yelled while still holding tight to the metal rod 

"no pull me up" she said while wrapping her arms around my legs 

I tried to swish my legs side to side in an attempt to get her off my legs but she had a tight grip and was not letting up. I could feel the metal rod start to slip from the out the grass "let me go Alexis you're too heavy"

"FUCK YOU" she yelled back 

I could feel the metal rods grip to the earth start to loosen as our weight pulled it out. Before it finally loosened and we started to slide again, I still had the metal rod in my hand

Alexis screamed as we started sliding and let go of my legs 

SPLASH

We landed right into the murky water, Alexis on her back and me on my stomach "Oh my GODD" Alexis screamed and stood to her feet

I rolled over to the grass and layed there for a few seconds before I heard Alexis scream. I rolled my eyes "its just mud and water I promise you won't die"

"no you idiot I'm stuck"

I glanced over at her to see that her foot was stuck in a mudhole. I chuckled a bit "well I guess it sucks to be you huh" I said while glancing down at the metal rod in my hand, it was weird looking and had tiny words written all over it 

"HELP ME"

I ignored her and kept looking at the rod what is this and what was it doing in the grass I thought to myself as I kept inspecting it "Okay fine" I looked over at Alexis 

"If you help me I'll consider putting you on the team" her voice was strained as she attempted to pull her foot out the mud 

I shook my head at her "you're a terrible liar" 

"I'm not lying, just come help me"

"why should I help you not only did you push me but every since I've came to this school you've treated me like shit so fuck you" I said while standing up

"listen it was just pranks, I was messing with you no big deal"

"yeah it is a big deal, I've cheered for five years and I've taken Gymnastics classes for three; cheering has been my life since I was young and for you to not even give me a fair chance is so fucked up. Its already hard enough being a black cheerleader especially on most teams I was the only black girl, I had to work twice as hard as all the other girls so they wouldn't kick my ass to the curb" 

Alexis started to fake cry "oh boo hoo poor you well you gotta work hard for things you want everyone knows that" 

"yeah right I doubt you ever worked for anything, you've been spoon fed your whole life. I yelled then started to laugh "you probably don't even wipe your own ass" 

"Fuck you, you don't know my life"

"yeah I do, rich girl popular at school; you have all the kids afraid of you because you can ruin their life and reputation in just one Tweet. Your mom is probably some blond ex super model and your dad is what a doctor or lawyer who walks in the door each night and says HONEY I'M HOME"

Alexis glared at me "you don't know my fucking life"

"yeah I do, you're in every teen movie. YOU'RE A FUCKING CLICHE"

Alexis tried to lunge at me but couldn't get far because of her foot "you bitch you don't know what I've been through"

I put my hand on my chest in mock apology "oh no did you break a nail"

"so I can't go through shit but you can" she said

"thats cause I've actually been through shit that can't be fixed by throwing money around. You couldn't last a day in my shoes" 

"well I have been through tough shit too. You don't know what I go through, you could never last in my shoes" she said then she reached for the metal rod 

I held onto the rod "let go" I said while pulling it 

"pull me out first and you can have your stick" she said gripping the rod I sighed and started yanking on the rod pulling foot out the mud 

"you're welcome" I said 

"whatever after all that shit you said to me fuck off"

I turned to leave but she was still holding onto the rod "let go" I said while pulling it 

"ow stop that hurts, it won't let me let go" 

"you're such an asshole just let it go so we can go our seperate ways" I said while pulling the rod again

"stop that hurts, I think it cut me" she tried to pull her hand away only for her to yank my arm her way 

"ouch stop my hand is stuck" I felt a slight prick on my finger "ow I think there's a nail on it"

"I told you.. woah" we both looked down at the rod as it started to glow a bright blue color "what the fuck"

BOOM

I looked up to see lighting strike the road nearby "we have to get somewhere safe"

"look" Alexis said still looking down at the rod "theres words, UNTIL YOU CAN SEE EYE TO EYE" she read 

I looked down at the rod the tiny words had grown bigger "YOU SEE THROUGH EACH OTHERS EYE" I finished "what the fuck does that mean"

BOOM 

Lightning strike close behind us "forget this we need to go NOW" I yelled walking while pulling Alexis along with me 

"No that hurts lets go this way" She said while yanking me in the opposite direction

"no lighting struck that way lets go this way"

"lighting doen't strike twice in one spot so come on" 

She pulled the rod her way and I pulled it my way then I heard a loud BOOM and everything ernt black.
