Chapter 01: Reliving Karma

- THALIA'S P.O.V -

"YOU... PIG SHOULD BE EXILED!"

I yelled and at the same time, I slammed his head with a frying pan. Tuluyan siyang nahulog sa sahig at agad nang nawalan ng konsenya. Hmm... I don't give a d*mn.

The entire residence is a mess right now. Almost all the fragile furniture designed in this house is shattered into pieces. And there's a fellow on the floor, about to be covered in his own filthy blood. 

Nagbigay ako ng mabigat na hikab, to be honest, that fight is boring. Hindi man lang niya kinayang makipaglaban. Tsk, nakakabagot. Nanatili akong naka nakatayo malapit sa lalaking nakahandusay, waiting for Jamie to come out of her hiding spot.

She's the one who always takes records for evidence.

"Yes, I got it all recorded! First thing in the morning, we will flash the whole video on the big screen in his company. Kawawang mga interns, ang dami niyang babaeng empleyadong nagalaw! Hayst, buti nga sa kanya!"

sigaw ni Jamie nang nakalabas na siya. Kanina pa siya nakatago sa ilalim ng kama. 

Napangiti ako, heh. Malalaman na nga ng lahat ang pagka baboy ng director na ito. He does not deserve to be promoted as the Head of a department.

"Teka, hindi pa ba yan patay?"

tanong ni Jamie, while watching the video.

Lumuhod ako at tinignan ko ang pulso nito. There's a hint of life in his pulse. This pig is still alive.

"Still alive, also, edit the video, make the sensitive parts blurry pero ang mukha ng director, 'wag mo gagalawin, dapat ay makita ng lahat na siya talaga iyon, Okay?"

Utos ko kay Jamie. Tumayo ako, pinunasan ng tissue ang aking mga kamay at pagkatapos ay itinapon ito sa basurahan.

"Yes sir~,"

Jamie said in a sing-song tone. I heard that tune a hundred times. 

I rolled my eyes, "Well, let's get the hell out of here. Baka mahuli tayo,"

Sabi ko kay Jamie.

Of course. We left the place and we left it clueless. I can't tolerate a failed mission if the police can find any traces of us. That will be certain doom for us.

Kinaumagahan, maraming tao ang naglalakad ngayon malapit sa big screen ng kumpanya. Wala naman kaming nakikitang bata sa loob ng building kaya sigurado kaming lalabas itong matagumpay. We don't want youngsters to see such sensitive thing. We do it clean.

"Jamie, report,"

I talked to Jamie over the tiny microphone hidden behind my ear. 

"I am currently hacking the motherboard, any minute, I can get into the system," Jamie said, I can clearly hear the keyboard's noise. Fast as the horse's gallops.

"Good, I will give the go signal once I have settled everything here,"

I told her. I am somehow near the big screen, about ten meters away from it.

Biglang may pumasok na isang pamilyar na pangangatawan. He has faint bruises all over his face. I chuckled as I can see how I made his face look unpleasant. But what matters is, ki-naya pa niya talagang makapasok. Seems like yesterday's beating is not enough.

I simply wore my shades. Maybe he can still remember my face, especially my feature since he got a good look at me. 

Wait, I think I know that this is the right time.

"Thalia, I got it. Give the signal anytime."

Jamie screamed. Time is on my side. How pleasing.

I flashed a perfect grin. Just wait, you assh*le. Your end is near.

Hinintay ko muna maglakad papunta sa gitna ang baboy na direktor. The whole hall is broad so the director's walking is slow. "Jamie, hear me?" I whispered to her using the microphone.

"Yes?" she asked.

"You have eyes on the target, right? Play the video when he is exactly in the middle of the big screen. I want all attention to him, okay?" I commanded her, lowering my shades so I can see clearly the target. 

"Noted!" she snickered. "Nice idea though, hihi~" 

Malapit na ang director sa gitna, just a few dozen of steps then the truth will unfold.

Every step, every heartbeat.

1...

Bingo.

The big screen flashed immediately as soon as the director took a step forward. Wails and screams from the video filled the hall. Dozens of workers who just wanted to pass by met a sickening scandal video.

"What the—! 'Di ba yan si Director Enrico?"

"A-Anu yan?!"

"Wow! What a scandal!"

"Holy shi-"

Napangiti ako, tinignan ko ang baboy na direktor, hindi nito inaasahan ang nangyayari na mismo ngayon. Lahat ng mga mata ay nasa kanya. Nabuga ng director ang iniinom nitong kape. 

"THIS," he said, pointing at the screen.

"It is unquestionably edited! I will never do such a thing! Don't be tricked by this nonsense! Sh*t! Turn this screen off!" pag-sinungaling ng director.

Hm, what a complete hypocrite.

"Mr. Enrico Manuez, may I know what is the meaning of this bullsh*t?" isang lalaking naka-eyeglasses kasama ang ilang bodyguards ang biglang nagpakita. Naglalakad sila papalapit sa director at agad naman nag kwento ang baboy.

"Someone must have wanted to frame me up! Hindi ako ganyan, Mr. Vice President! Isa akong marangal na tao! They must have used this scandal to stain my background, sir!" napa-ngiwing sabi ng director. 

My stomach got upset as he mentioned that he is an honorable person. That's definitely the opposite, you animal! And also, the plan is getting more intertwined since the vice president of the company is also here. Let's see how he will settle this.

"Jamie, proceed to the next step of the plan," I told her over the device. 

"Yeah, this is getting more hell'a fascinating!" she quietly shrieked.

"Get ready, girls! If you want revenge, then toast this pig in the multitude, we have adequate evidence to prove him being a disgusting man... no... he's not a man, an animal would be better," I could hear Jamie's voice at another line. She's ordering the girls what to do.

The emergency door abruptly opened and more than twenty ladies invaded the hall. All of them wear office outfits, they are still youthful like in the midst of their 20's. 

"Aren't you all the fresh interns this year?" tanong ng vice president. Agad na pumeywang ang babaeng nasa gitna, "Mr. Vice President, with all due respect, please let us speak and avenge ourselves for our sake." nagmamakaawang sabi ng babaeng nakamewang.

Ilang segundong tumahimik ang vice president at humarap sa director. 

"Proceed," the vice said, joining his hands together with the problem. Seems like he wants to get deeper into the problem.

Good, the plan is going on splendidly.

"All of us in this group have been violently been in the bed with that director! Ginawa niya kaming parang baboy! If you are looking for confirmation, Mr. Vice, we have them all to show you," sabi ng babae habang nakaturo sa director.

Agad na nagbulungan ang iba pang tao na nasa hall. Great. Great!

Nagkakaguluhan... nagkakasigawan... nagkakadirian.Now that is what I want.

Napansin ng Vice President na napag-uusapan na ang scandalo, "All of you, to my office. Let's avoid being talked about this shame. We can't afford our President to hear this news," the Vice said, wandering away with his guards. 

Sumunod ang mga babaeng nagrereklamo. 

"Director Manuez, please follow us, the Vice President's order," the guard said.

"MISSION COMPLETED! Ang galing mo talaga, Thalia!" Jamie praised me.

Kaka-tanggap lang ng kumpanya namin ng isang anonymous na tawag saying that napatalsik na ang director. Justice has also been served to those disadvantaged ladies that have been ruthlessly played by the director.

"Thanks, kilala mo naman ako, I can't just let them go without karma," I said, drinking a glass of sparkly. It's alcohol-free, don't worry. Wala ako sa mood malasing.

"Well, sa mga ginagawa natin, baka habulin din tayo ng karma?" 

"Don't worry, Jamie, dear. The karma won't chase me because I am the karma itself." madiin kong pagsabi. I directly shot a wide foxy grin across my lips.

"You have a point." Jamie winked and took a sip at her glass.

"Miss Thalia, the leader wants to meet you." my co-worker said. 

Agad akong tumayo at inayos ang aking night robe. "I'll be back, continue your drink," I told Jamie. She just bowed and took a shot of tequila. "Well... don't mind me being drunk."

ONCE I hurried forward to the big wooden door, two servants opened the door. An astonishing light came at my eyes. "What's with this heavy aura today?" I whispered to myself.

"Hi Thalia, my darling~," my auntie's voice said. "Hi, tita." sabi ko. We both hugged each other and she looked at me. "Hindi ka pa nasugatan nang nakipag-away ka sa director?" she asked me in a concerned murmur.

"I'm fine, tita. I even didn't get enough combat with him. Strong at his words but weak at fights," I jokingly whispered. "Even though you are fine, magpa-check up ka pa rin kay Steve."

I just sighed and she moved back to her huge swivel chair at the center of the spacious room. "Bakit mo po pala ako pinatawag?" tanong ko.

"I desired to give you another mission, I know it's too fast but this needs to be stimulated," she said, habang tinutuktok ang isang pen sa table.

I just quietly agreed and sit on the sofa at her side. "You, being the best warrior in this secluded society made us a huge favor," she told me in a serious tone.

She shifted her state in an instant. As expected from her, she is ruthless to others, counts me, Jamie, and Steve out.

"I want you, Thalia Karina, to punish Andrei Zhong, the C.E.O. and the current head of the Zhong group. With the power you have, I trust you to finish this mission, Thalia."
