I watched her sleep peacefully in my bed with joy in my heart. I couldn't contain it. She looked so beautiful as she slept, her chest going up and down to show she was still breathing.

Last night was intense. My wolf was so happy, he had never felt so satisfied with a female before. He almost marked her during sex. I shook my head.

Anne was an enigma. A girl with different attributes. She made me happy and satisfied my wolf. For some reason, she felt like my other half, my mate.

I shook my head. It wasn't possible. I would have known if she was my mate. At least I would feel the bond.
