Daisy’s POV

I felt giddy, something about Hazel’s visit always left me smiling.

Hazel had become a mother to me, and I enjoyed every weird conversations we had.

“Don’t stray far from the border,” Hades said in an authoritative tone.

I could feel the tension in his voice, what ever was disturbing him must be serious to keep him on the edge.

“What’s going on?” I asked in a soft tone, my eyes searching his face for any form of discomfort.

Hades had a tiny smile on his face, “nothing to worry your head about,” he whispered, pecking my forehead.

“Hades” I called out, my voice pleading.

Hades sighed, running his hand gently, through his hair, “I don’t what you to be worried, but there’s been rogue sightings close to the border,” he said.

My heart thundered in my chest, “what do they want?” I whispered.

“We can’t say for now, but they are just hanging around like they are waiting for something,” Hades said.
