“can we find a way to make it right?.

Daisy’s POV

“Daisy,” Astrid called again, placing her hand gently on my shoulder.

“Yeah, I am okay, just perfect,” I said in a clipped tone.

Astrid picked up on my mood, “do you want to talk about it?” She said in a calm voice.

I released a long sigh, allowing her to lead me to the swing she was sitting on.

“This garden is just as beautiful as the one mother had,” Astrid said.

My eyes looked around the garden, and a tiny smile broke on my face, somehow hearing how similar my garden was to my mom’s made me feel connected.

Astrid waited patiently for me to speak, she had calmed my tears from flowing as we talked about flowers I could get to add to the garden.

She wasn’t deflecting our conversation but I enjoyed how it wasn’t pressured out of me.

“daisy,” Astrid called after a long pause.

“what’s going on?” she asked her eyes swirling with worry.
