Daisy’s POV

Astrid was the only one who stuck around.

“Don’t think about it, I am here for you,” Astrid muttered, softly kissing my cheeks.

“Did you see the hate in her eyes?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Astrid and I had run into Priya. And I had called out to her, hoping that she would give me a chance to talk.

Priya had walked pass us like she couldn’t hear a word that had come out of my mind.

“But this just proves me right,” Astrid muttered, her voice breaking me out of my reverie.

“how?” I asked, trying to see the light in the tunnel she was trying to illustrate.

“Why is she pissed at you, but she isn’t mad at her brother or Brittany,” Astrid remarked.

“You did nothing wrong, it is just crazy that she would be angry,” Astrid continued.

I understood her logic, but I still needed to clear things out with Brittany.

“I should find Brittany,” I mumbled, trying to rise from her bed.
