Chapter Sixty Two

She stared at Kylan with wide eyes for a couple of seconds, breathing erratically but she soon snapped out of her shocked state, wondering why she was reacting like this when there are lots of Connors in the world.

She finally convinced herself that she was overreacting and it was normal for her to fear that it was him since she had a history with him.

"Are you okay?"

"Nancy?" Kylan called her attention.

"You look like you are going to pass out. You okay?" He stared at her with concern

"Wait, are you nervous because of the guest?"

"What? No!" She napped out of the thoughts in her head.

"Then what? You were looking all okay before I mentioned his name."

"You don't have to be nervous. If you don't know him I can just chase him away or something. And if you don't wanna see him, I can just go there and tell him a lie. You don't need to be anxious because of some dude."

"Too bad I was already getting excited."

Nancy frowned at him, "Why?"

He shrugged, "You've never had an official guest."
