Chapter Sixty Six

Nancy was lost in her thoughts that she almost had no idea when Connor pulled away from the hug. He saw tears in her eyes which made him bring up his thumb, wiping the tears away from the corner of her eyes.

Nancy looked away, avoiding looking into his eyes.

Connor had no idea where the confidence came from but he possessively wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to him, not caring that anyone could come out and see them.

"Look at me." He mumbled.

"Babe," He called when she refused to answer him.

He eventually ended up caressing her cheek with his thumb.

"You've got nothing to be shy about. If there's anyone that should be afraid of looking into your eyes, then it's me. This doesn't make you weak or make you a loser. It just shows how much of a wonderful woman you are."
