Chapter Seventy Five

The plan was to leave for California on Sunday evening but Connor got carried away with a lot of things that they ended up leaving Monday midnight.

Straight from the airport where the driver picked them up, they went to Connor's private apartment. A luxurious two-bedroom apartment with the finest amenities and furniture which he owned for a year now without anyone's knowledge.

Connor put Jayden to bed in the master bedroom after which he brought their luggage to the room and gave Nancy a tour of the apartment.

While Nancy got acquainted with the place, Connor took a shower and got dressed since he had to be in the courthouse by 9:30

"You just can't take your eyes off me, right?" He teased as he approached her, adjusting his tie.

"Why do you look so good in everything?"

He smiled proudly, "I'm all yours so you are one hell of a lucky woman."
