Chapter Seventy One

"He's in my room. Let's go."

With the help of his mommy, Jayden got down from the bed.

He hurriedly put his feet into his Crocs. "Ready Mommy."

Nancy chuckled, smiling down at her son's legs.

"You might want to correct that baby."

Looking down at his feet, smiling shyly, Jayden changed the way he wore his shoes by putting each one on the correct leg.

Once done, he intertwined his hand with his mother's own who was already on her feet.

Then they both exited Jayden's room.

The moment they got to Nancy's room, seeing that Connor was still sleeping, she quietly shut the door after they helped themselves in, and crouched towards Jayden whose eyes were glued to the person on the bed.

"That's my Dada?" He whispered, smiling, an act he learned from his uncles, Kylan and David whenever someone was sleeping.

Nancy nodded. "You wanna go say Hi to him?"

"Dada is sleeping!" He whispered, making Nancy chuckle.

"He's been dying to see you so it's okay to wake him up. He's not going to be mad at you.
