Elaine’s Point of View
I waited for Louis to return to the dining room, but thirty minutes passed, so I decided not to eat. I had also lost my appetite.
As I passed by the bookshelf, I noticed the book I wanted earlier was now on the lower shelf, so I grabbed it and went up to the room where I had been resting earlier.
There’s probably nothing wrong with lying down here. They have plenty of rooms.
“Nerd.”
I quickly sat up from the bed when I heard the man who had approached Louis earlier.
“What are you doing here? Where’s Louis? And who are you?” I asked, quickly grabbing a pillow to defend myself in case he had bad intentions.
He chuckled. “Chill. Louis just asked me to tell you not to wait for him anymore because he has something to do with Mariella. He missed his ex so much. Do you know that?”
His words felt like a sharp sting to my heart, but I reminded myself that our marriage was just to pay off my father’s debt.
“I’ll go ahead,” he said.
He was about to leave when I stopped him.
“Thank you for informing me,” I said sarcastically as he walked away. I sat back on the bed, unable to stop holding my temples.
Two hours later, I didn’t even realize I had fallen asleep.
I went downstairs to ask if I could borrow some clothes, but I was surprised when the maid left and came back, handing me a filled paper bag.
I went to the bathroom and started taking a shower. This was refreshing.
I quickly wrapped my body with a towel when the door opened.
“What are you doing here? Get out, you rude!” I shouted. My eyes widened when I saw it was Louis. He slowly approached me and grabbed my wrist.
“Mariella...” Louis whispered and gently kissed me.
I furrowed my brow and quickly pushed Louis away. I didn’t know why, but instead of feeling happy, I felt annoyed.
“Get out, Louis. I’m taking a shower,” I said. Honestly, I shouldn’t feel angry because I wasn’t supposed to be important to Louis—only a payment for my father’s debt to the Montemayor family.
I knew Louis didn’t like me either, especially since the man who came to the room earlier told me not to wait for him because he was going to meet Mariella, his ex.
“Wife... I’m sorry, I know it’s you,” Louis whispered, lowering his head. His breath hit my neck, sending a strange warmth through my body.
“What’s wrong, Louis? You’re drunk, get out!” I shouted, but the truth was, there was something within me pulling me towards him as our faces were so close.
“Your scent is like a drug to me. When I inhale it, I can’t stop looking for you,” Louis said. I was speechless by his words, and I was sure my face was as red as a tomato.
The hot water from the shower hit us both.
“Louis...” I said softly.
No voice was coming from my throat, and it felt like something was stuck.
I just closed my eyes when Louis suddenly pulled me in to kiss me.
I wanted to push him away, but I couldn’t. There was a part of me that liked what he was doing.
When it was over, he stared at me. “It sounds sexy when you say my name. Do it again,” Louis said. I couldn’t stop myself from smiling.
“It’s your turn. I also want to hear my name from you,” I replied. He grabbed the ends of my hair and twirled it around his fingers.
“I asked first, baby.”
What was he saying? “Baby”? Cringe. Come on, self, stop fooling yourself into thinking you’re not giddy, even though your smile could light up the room.
“Louis….” I murmured.
“Okay, your turn,” I added, holding Louis’s waist to tickle him, but I was surprised when I touched something else.
His hard abs.
It just dawned on me that I was only covered by a towel while Louis was soaking wet from the shower.
“Wife, you're making me horny,” Louis said.
My eyes widened when he pulled the towel from my body.
Shame overwhelmed me as I saw him staring at my body, which I quickly covered. My right hand was on my private part, while my left was on my chest.
“Get out, Louis! I’m counting to three—one!” I shouted.
Louis just laughed and took off his shirt.
I almost dropped my jaw, but this wasn’t the time to ogle his six-pack abs!
“Two!” I said.
“What? I think you enjoy seeing my topless body,” Louis said with a grin as he moved closer.
I closed my eyes because I wasn’t sure I could handle it; I might end up guilty.
“You know what, you shouldn’t be shy because this is the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen,” Louis complimented as he slowly moved my hand away from my private area.
It had only been two days since we met, but I already felt a sense of ease around him. Maybe Louis was just doing this because his parents told him to? I didn’t know anymore.
I tried to close my eyes to see if I would wake up from this dream, but when I opened them, Louis’s lake-blue eyes were the first thing I noticed.
A smile crept onto Louis’s lips.
He was definitely more handsome when he smiled compared to his usual serious expression.
“Ugh, how many women have you said that to?” I teased, not wanting to let down my guard against Louis’s flowery words. I was sure he had said the same thing to Mariella or his flings.
“What do you mean?” Louis asked, furrowing his brows.
“Maybe you’ve told Mariella that when you saw her body,” I scoffed. I didn’t know why I was asking something I already knew the answer to.
Why was I asking? Was I hoping to hear him deny it?
“I’m done showering,” I said bitterly, grabbing the towel that had fallen. I walked out of the bathroom, but Louis suddenly pulled my hand, causing me to fall into his chest.
“I don't know what bullshit Tyron said to you, but forget what he said. And to answer your question, I never did,” Louis explained.
I tilted my head to meet his eyes.
“You’re the only one I find beautiful,” Louis whispered, and I looked away.
When I processed what Louis said, I almost wanted to hide in his chest from embarrassment.
Silence filled the space between us until Louis let go and was about to leave the bathroom.
“Let’s shower together. I’ll feel guilty if you get sick,” I said.
I didn’t know where I was getting the courage to say that to him.
Louis slowly walked up to me, held my chin, and, without warning, kissed me.
“I don’t know how to kiss. What’s the step?” I thought to myself.
When Louis saw I wasn’t moving my lips, he spoke. “Part your lips, so my tongue has access.”
I did what he said, and the kiss became more passionate. I felt him lift me as we moved toward the bathtub.
“Uhm,” I moaned softly when he bit my lower lip while laying me down in the bathtub. Luckily, it was dry, and there was enough space for us to move freely.
Should I give in now? But what about my thoughts on marriage? One touch from Louis, and it felt like I was ready to give in.
“Wife...,” Louis whispered. Slowly, his lips moved down to my neck, then to my chest.
I felt a tickling sensation whenever Louis’s lips touched my skin, stopping in the middle of my chest as he sucked, which made me moan.
He left a mark there.
“Your body is so lecherous,” Louis muttered while slowly squeezing my left breast with his hand, his lips tracing circles on my right breast, sending a new sensation throughout my body.
“Ah... L-Louis,” I moaned softly, unable to take my eyes off what he was doing.
He continued working on my chest while one hand traveled down to my underwear.
“You’re wet,” Louis whispered.
I quickly covered my face out of embarrassment.
Did he really need to say that to me?
I heard him laugh as he removed my hands from my face. “Wife, can you unbutton my pants? I have a huge surprise for you,” Louis said, positioning his face to meet mine.
I had no choice but to continue, especially after we had already started. The only problem now was how I would walk tomorrow.
I nodded and slowly started undoing the buttons on his pants, then unzipped the zipper.
When his pants were lowered, I saw his white Calvin Klein boxer briefs. His masculinity was clearly outlined, and I couldn’t help but swallow.
“W-Will that fit me?” I asked as I pulled down his boxer shorts.
His manhood was right in front of my face.
“Wanna check?” Louis asked with a mischievous grin, lifting my face to meet his.
He kissed me again, slowly trailing down to where I was already wet.
“L-Louis, wait. This is embarrassing,” I murmured, trying to push him away, but he just removed my hands.
I hadn’t even shaved yet!
“Wife, no need to be shy,” Louis said while his warm breath hit my most sensitive part, causing an arousal within me.
Louis removed the fabric blocking my private area and began tracing his tongue along my intimate parts. “Ahhh... L-Louis,” I trembled as I moaned. I didn’t know where to turn because of the overwhelming pleasure I felt.
Louis continued licking me, and I couldn’t help but press his head into me when it felt too good.
After a while, I was gasping for air as though something was digging deep inside me.
I felt like I was about to explode from what he was doing.
“I’m coming,” I whispered. I was shocked when Louis slid his tongue inside me, giving me an even more intense pleasure.
When I felt myself nearing my release, I lifted my hips until I came.
“You taste so good,” Louis said, licking up what I had released.
He slowly positioned himself in front of me.
“Can I?” he asked, and I just nodded.
He was about to enter when a loud sound from a cell phone interrupted us.
Louis sighed and cursed, “Fuck.”
It seemed like the call was important, so I told him to answer it while I laughed at his childlike reaction, as though he had been deprived of candy.
Before answering the phone, Louis kissed me. “We’ll continue later. I think you should wash yourself now,” he said, then left.
I was left in a daze, thinking about everything that had happened.
What would I face Louis with next?
When I walked out of the bathroom, I saw Louis frowning while speaking on the phone.
His gaze shifted to me, so he stood up, kissed my forehead, and said, “I have important business to do. You should sleep first.”
I looked at him as though I didn’t believe he was actually going to work.
“Fuck. Convince my wife, Volstrige,” Louis ordered on the phone.
I furrowed my brow, but he put the call on speaker.
“Miss Elaine, I just want to inform you that our boss is needed here because the spy in our organization has been caught. Thank you very much and consider our plead,” the man said on the phone, the caller's name showing as Volstrige.
I couldn’t help but laugh; it sounded like he was asking his mom for permission to go out.
“Okay, be careful, hubby,” I said, hugging Louis. He froze in place, but when he recovered, he hugged me back with a kiss.
“Hmm. Can you repeat what you said?” Louis asked when we broke the kiss. I just smiled at him and jumped onto the bed.
As if I was going to repeat that.
“Goodnight, Mr. Montemayor!” I teased, grinning at him. I turned my back to him, holding my chest because it was pounding.
“Wife,” Louis whispered from behind me.
“Boss, save the lovey-dovey stuff for later, we’re all being swarmed with ants here,” Volstrige joked, which made Louis furrow his brows and hang up the call.
“I'll go now,” Louis said, kissing the top of my head before leaving the room.
I buried my face in the pillow and screamed out of excitement.
Don’t fall for it, self. You’ve got this!
But how?
Third Person's Point of ViewWhen Louis arrived at the basement, he immediately glared at Volstrige because of the disruption he had caused between him and Elaine.“You should know the consequences of what you did,” the young man growled as he slowly took out one of his favorite pistols, the Beretta 92, from Italy. Jacob had given it to him when he returned to the Philippines to celebrate his new business in alcoholic beverages.Volstrige immediately hid behind Alex, but Brennon quickly pulled him out. “Boss, please shoot this womanizer. He almost got me into trouble because of him,” Brennon complained, laughing. Volstrige's face was unreadable.“Are you an idiot? I didn’t do anything wrong to you!” Volstrige yelled. The two started arguing, causing Louis to frown.“Stop wasting my fucking time. I have things to do, lead the way,” Louis said authoritatively. Both of them lowered their heads and began leading Louis to where they had captured the spy.Louis had been thinking about going
Third Person’s Point of View“Wife, why are you taking so long to come in? Does Louis have another fling again?” asked a man who looked just like Louis, the only difference being that his appearance showed signs of aging, even though he still looked like a teenager. The man stopped locking the car when he saw Elaine. He recognized her face because he had ordered Louis to marry the young woman.“Who are you, miss, and why are you in my son’s mansion? Explain yourself,” the woman said grumpily, raising an eyebrow. She looked at Elaine, who didn’t know what to say since the young man hadn’t told her that his parents would also be coming.“M-Me? Uh... uh,” Elaine stuttered. Louis’s father stopped Louis’s mother from pulling Elaine’s hair because she was about to drag her out.“Wife, she’s the woman I was telling Louis about. For Pete’s sake, it’s embarrassing to treat your son’s bride like that,” Louis’s father said, which made Louis’s mother realize what she was doing to Elaine. She immed
Third Person’s Point of ViewSirius's butler was restless as they headed to the jail. In truth, in his six years of service to his master, this was the first time something like this had happened to him. Sirius would get mad at him when they arrived, and he was with two of his cousins. What Sirius hated the most was asking for help from anyone, especially people he knew.He didn’t want to be judged. Once, the young man almost killed him because he reported him to his parents, something Sirius hated. He tried to live without asking for anyone’s help, but Sirius had no choice now because his situation was so bad that it threatened the company he had been protecting.“Can you tell us what really happened?” Kaizer asked while Louis was busy looking at his phone. His mother had been calling nonstop earlier, telling him to come home because they were already at the mansion to discuss the wedding. As much as he wanted to go home, he couldn’t because his cousin needed him now.“This is what ha
Third Person’s Point of ViewLouis quickly accelerated the car. He was worried about the young woman, especially since his mother had mentioned that something bad had happened to her.“Damn,” he cursed while hitting the steering wheel because of the traffic. Just when he was in a hurry, traffic appeared in the area.“Can you calm down? As if you can stop the traffic with that, idiot,” Kaizer told him, but in truth, his hand had been shaking with fear about what had really happened to Elaine. He had liked her for a long time, but he always held himself back whenever they met because he didn’t want to complicate her mind with all that was going on.The truth was, he knew Elaine better than her future husband. There was nothing he could do about it, especially since he wasn’t sure if she liked him too. If he could, he would run away with her and live a simple life, but if that happened, there would be equally important things they'd lose that he couldn’t bear. When they arrived at the man
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost,” said the young lady, who was staring at Louis' pale face. She didn’t understand why the young man was reacting that way to the picture of her with her mother, who was holding her in her arms.“Who is that woman to you?” Louis asked. His mind was spinning because of what was happening, but suddenly, his head began to ache. The memory of his former nanny came rushing back.*** Flashback“Lou-lou, you shouldn’t be out at this hour. Your father will surely scold you,” lectured his favorite nanny, Serena. She was kind and always prioritized his feelings. In fact, she was the first person to see him cry, especially when his father scolded him.“But I want to go to Uncle Liam’s mansion. He will probably get mad at Sirius because of what we did. I want to defend him,” young Louis said, raising his hand as if on a mission. Compared to other children, Louis was more mature, even though he was only seven years
Elaine’s Point of ViewLouis remained silent while driving. We were heading to the resort that Aunt Hacel mentioned.I couldn't help but wonder what the conversation between him and my father was about. When he returned inside, he was quiet and didn't speak much. I was also shivering from the cold air conditioning, as it was blowing directly at me. Louis was the one driving while my father and Kaizer were in the other car.At first, Kaizer didn’t want to agree, but my father insisted that they not join us.“Wear this,” Louis said, slowly opening his compartment to grab a denim jacket. He handed it to me, which I quickly accepted because I was about to freeze from the cold. Even my legs were too stiff to move.“Thank you,” I said. Louis just nodded and continued driving. I wasn’t sure if Kaizer had already arrived at the resort before us because we were stuck in traffic. They might have gotten there thirty minutes earlier.“By the way, what did you and my father talk about?” I asked bec
Third Person’s Point of View"See for yourself, don’t tell me you have a new girlfriend again? Tss, that’s fast. We haven’t even killed Mariella in front of you, but don’t worry, I’ll make sure you see your new one die!" he shouted. His voice echoed throughout the place. About five people were already lying on the floor, dead from gunshot wounds to their hearts. The armed group surrounded Louis. Elaine was behind, trembling in fear. She was still holding the pistol that Louis gave her, but she didn’t know how to use it.She had only held a gun like this when she, Venice, and Elena went to a newly opened firearm training that taught how to handle guns, but they only went because of the good-looking instructor, who Elena had a huge crush on. Elena’s soul almost left her body every time Xypen approached her. However, they didn’t last long in the training because they saw him with another woman, which made Elena jealous. So, they decided to enroll elsewhere, which both she and Venice had r
Third Person’s Point of ViewElaine woke up because of the light. She saw the white ceiling, which immediately made her sit up."Child, you’re awake. Thank goodness, I thought I was going to lose you," her father said. He immediately approached her and embraced her. Kaizer was beside him, smiling at her, clearly aware of what had happened between her and Louis."I-I’m fine. Where’s Louis?" she asked, but Kaizer and her father only exchanged glances as if neither of them wanted to answer her question."F-Father?" she called Mr. Natividad, but he just smiled at her and gently placed his hand on her head."Child, it’s better if you rest for now. The nurse said you shouldn’t move too much, especially since what happened to you is very traumatic," Mr. Natividad answered, but Elaine couldn’t rest until she was sure Louis was okay. This was the reason she was still alive, and she wanted to thank him."But, Father, I want to see him. Is he alright? Tell me!" Elaine asked in a panic, trying to
Third PersonWhen Louis arrived at the mansion where Mariella lived, Mr. Kernel immediately opened the gate for him, as he still remembered his plate number."Long time no see, Sir Louis," Mr. Kernel greeted as he saluted Louis, who parked the car carefully inside the garage.Mr. Kernel had been a loyal bodyguard for the De Vera family, even when Louis and Mariella were still in a relationship. It seemed that most of his cars were associated with the old guard."Yeah, it’s been a long time, Mr. Kernel," Louis replied as he got out of his car.As Louis entered the mansion, the first thing he noticed was the decor, which hadn’t changed at all. Perhaps Mariella hadn’t been decorating much lately due to her busy career.Louis then glanced at the maids, who were bowing to him at the side. “Where’s Mariella?” he asked. One of the maids, a petite woman named Elisse, immediately looked up.“It’s you, Sir Louis. Ma’am Mariella is in her old room on the second floor. Would you like me to accomp
Third PersonAfter leaving the mansion, Louis immediately got into the Honda Jazz parked in the garage. It was one of the gifts he received from his Uncle Alexander when he turned twenty-one.Honestly, Louis wanted to throw the car away because it was already years old. His garage was overflowing with vehicles due to the many cars he received every year. Some of the ones he didn’t like were given away to his female cousins.Louis couldn’t understand why his father insisted that he marry Elaine, especially since she was the granddaughter of their organization’s fierce rival. If it was protection he needed, why didn’t his father just provide him with bodyguards? When he sat in the driver’s seat, he angrily punched the steering wheel. He couldn’t accept why the girl was pretending not to know about his father’s plans, especially when it was so obvious that she was trying to attract his cousins who were involved in the organization to spy on the ledger.Louis knew he shouldn’t feel anythi
ElaineI woke up because of the sunlight hitting my eyelids.“Good morning, Ma’am Elaine, I brought you some hot coffee to help with your hangover,” Blaire said as she gently placed a cup with a happy face design on the side table.“Please just call me Elaine, and thank you for bringing the coffee,” I smiled and replied, sitting up. My head still ached from all the wine I drank last night.“I’m not used to calling people just by their first names, Ma’am and Sir are what I usually use for the people I serve. You know, it’s become a habit,” Blaire explained. She handed me a wet towel. After I wiped my face, she took the towel from my right hand and pointed to the coffee. “Drink this before it gets cold. It looks like you drank too much last night,” she said, and I scratched my head because I couldn’t remember much of what I did last night.“Thank you so much. By the way, was Kaizer the one who brought me home last night?” I asked, blowing on the coffee since it was too hot and nearly bu
Third PersonA few moments of silence passed between Kaizer and Elaine. Neither of them wanted to speak first, both of them nervous about what the other might be thinking.Eventually, Kaizer couldn’t take the silence anymore, so he sighed to get Elaine’s attention.“Come on, Ely, we shouldn’t waste time here. I’ll take you home, Louis is probably worried about you,” Kaizer said, causing Elaine to feel even more sadness about what she had witnessed.Elaine scratched her head, not wanting to go with Kaizer. She didn’t want to go home right away, especially after seeing Louis with another woman."W-Well," Elaine stammered. She wanted to explain why she didn’t want to go home, but no words came out.“Let’s enjoy here for a while,” Kaizer said when he sensed that the girl didn’t want to go with him. He gently lifted her bridal-style.Elaine was about to speak when Kaizer suddenly asked her, “Who did you come here with? Look at what almost happened to you,” he asked with a frown, clearly up
Third PersonIt had been hours since Elaine locked herself in the room after Louis left her alone. She couldn’t quite grasp what she had done wrong for the young man not to reciprocate her feelings for him.Elaine’s tears flowed endlessly as she tried to find Venice’s name in her contact list, hoping to release her frustrations about what Louis had said to her.Elaine had always thought that she would fall for Kaizer alone, so she had prepared herself to get hurt because she was sure he only saw her as a friend. But it turned out that what she would experience with Louis was even worse. She wanted to go somewhere to relax her mind, even if just for tonight."Hello, Ela, you called?" Venice asked, her face showing concern for Elaine, as it was rare for her to call."I-I’m sorry for calling at this hour," Elaine stammered, still sobbing.Venice immediately sensed that something was wrong on the other line and couldn’t help but feel sorry for her friend's situation.“It’s okay, it’s not
ElaineMy eyes widened in surprise because he was the one who would be my partner in the competition. I was expecting someone totally nerdy, just like me, but it looks like the rumors were true—he definitely has a strong presence. He even looks really hot, even in a uniform."We can just be partners, baby," Elena teased, grabbing Noah's hand that he offered to me.“Are you stupid? What will you answer in the competition? If you fight, our campus is already lost,” Venice teased, which made Elena raise an eyebrow.“Excuse me, I’m always winning in gay pageants. You can even ask me tough questions, like Catriona-level!” Elena said while pretending to wave at the audience.I saw Noah frown when Elena suddenly approached him and gently squeezed his arm.“I think Noah’s got it going on!” Elena said. You could see the annoyance on Noah's face from what Elena was doing.“Can you f*cking get lost? Your existence is making me mad,” Noah snapped, his jaw clenched in anger.“Oh, I like that, rawr
ElaineSeveral days had passed since I tried to run away from Louis' mansion with Blaire's help, but all of that was ruined when we were caught.**“And where do you think you’re going?” asked a familiar male voice.I immediately closed my eyes tightly. I felt Blaire squeeze my hand; all I could do was swallow nervously.“I said, where are you two going? Care to explain?” he repeated. I had no choice but to turn around to see who was speaking.Blaire and I would definitely be in trouble if this was Louis. When I turned around, my jaw almost dropped when I saw Tyron, frowning. His face showed confusion as he wondered why Blaire and I were leaving.“Tyron?” I asked in surprise. His expression immediately changed when he saw Blaire staring at him.“Hello, love,” Tyron said.He was so vulnerable when it came to Blaire. Just a moment ago, his face was all furrowed, but now he was smiling so widely it looked like his lips were about to come off.“Okay, I’m still here,” I teased, waving my h
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, baby. Leave that woman alone,” Penelope said. She grabbed Louis by the arm, but she was shocked when he suddenly shoved her forcefully, causing her to fall to the floor.“How dare you!” she shouted at him. He simply gave her a scornful look before throwing money at her.“Get out of my sight, I don’t like whores,” Louis replied. Penelope’s eyes widened in anger. Before standing up to face him, she picked up the money he had thrown at her.“Look at how thick-skinned you are to say that to me!” Penelope screamed. She was about to slap Louis when he blocked her with his right hand. “Do you really think a whore like you can lay your hand on my face?” Louis asked with a grin. He probably thought the young man wouldn’t notice that she had spiked his drink with sleeping pills to rob him. When Louis went to the bar feeling restless, Penelope immediately learned about the young man’s situation. She plans to seduce him so she can go to his mansion, where Loui
Elaine’s Point of ViewI woke up when I felt something cold touch my skin, a damp cloth. I immediately opened my eyes to see who was with me.The last thing I remember was being in Kaizer's arms while we were leaving the venue at Desire Island. If my guess is correct, I am here in his mansion. I also remembered what I said to Louis. I’m sure he got upset with what I said, but what could I do? I was too carried away by what he did to me, which is why I said that. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kaizer gently wiping my cheek with the cloth. He was looking at me seriously, but when he noticed that I opened my eyes, a smile appeared on his face."I'm glad you're awake, Ely," Kaizer said. I didn’t know how to respond because it felt like my tongue was tied in embarrassment. I’ve been giving him so much trouble. I noticed his black eye from when Louis punched him.I couldn’t help but feel shy around him. My eyes widened when he suddenly kissed my forehead.“I thought something had happened to
