Third Person’s Point of View
Sirius's butler was restless as they headed to the jail. In truth, in his six years of service to his master, this was the first time something like this had happened to him. Sirius would get mad at him when they arrived, and he was with two of his cousins. What Sirius hated the most was asking for help from anyone, especially people he knew.
He didn’t want to be judged. Once, the young man almost killed him because he reported him to his parents, something Sirius hated. He tried to live without asking for anyone’s help, but Sirius had no choice now because his situation was so bad that it threatened the company he had been protecting.
“Can you tell us what really happened?” Kaizer asked while Louis was busy looking at his phone. His mother had been calling nonstop earlier, telling him to come home because they were already at the mansion to discuss the wedding. As much as he wanted to go home, he couldn’t because his cousin needed him now.
“This is what happened, please forgive me for what I did earlier, but Sir Sirius’s company is really in danger because of the Campbell Organization, because they exposed his boss’s illegal activities. Slowly, the shareholders began pulling out their shares in the company. When I researched it, I found that they moved to Campbell’s company, which is why my boss was taken to jail and now bankrupt, because he used his remaining money in the bank account to pay off debts,” the butler sadly explained, wiping away tears. It was clear that he was loyal to Sirius, not just as his butler.
“Then how did this happen to Sirius? I know that guy, he’s even smarter than me, so it’s impossible for something like this to happen to him,” Kaizer said. He grabbed a piece of tobacco from the side of the car and lit it with his ever-present lighter.
“Sirius is smart, but like the saying goes, even a monkey can be outsmarted. There was a time when my boss was busy with Desire Island. He was addicted to sex at that time, which is why his title there increased. He handed the company over to a trusted person, but that person ended up betraying him. I hope he’s wiser now, especially since he’s only got a second chance. Also, if Sir Louis doesn’t help him, his other companies abroad might be affected, because the news will spread, and the shareholders will lose trust in Sir Sirius,” the butler said seriously, now filled with anger. Even though his boss wasn’t the best of people, he had seen a different side of him that others didn’t because they always focused on the young man’s bad behavior.
In truth, if he could, he wouldn’t ask Louis for help but rather the people managing Sirius’s companies abroad. However, that would be difficult because that’s where the conspirators who wanted to bring his master down might be. So, he had no choice but to go to his cousin. It was a dangerous move, but he hoped Louis would help Sirius.
“Sir Louis, you seem busy with your phone. I’ve never seen you like this. Maybe you’re texting one of your flings,” Powsh, his driver for the day, commented, especially since the three idiots had tagged along to gossip.
“Mind your own business; I’m talking to my mom,” Louis replied, still focused on his phone screen. His mother was sending him videos of her baking with Elaine.
Elaine had another side to her, and it seemed she was very comfortable with her parents. Louis hoped that this trust wouldn’t be broken because of what Elaine was showing him. If it was, he wasn’t sure if he’d even talk to her again.
“Tss. When did Louis Montemayor ever smile because of a girl baking?” Kaizer sarcastically asked, spinning a glass of champagne in his hand due to irritation.
He was the first to meet Elaine and the first to fall in love with her, but since Louis came into the picture, he couldn’t approach her anymore because of his uncle Izaak’s request that he stay away from her since she was about to marry Louis.
He couldn’t understand his uncle Louis’s sudden decision to take such good care of Elaine. She wasn’t even related to them. Moreover, it wasn’t that he wanted Elaine to suffer, but why were they treating her so well, especially when her parents had a huge debt to them?
He sighed, deep in thought. Maybe Louis’s parents just wanted him to settle down with a woman. It seemed that all of the Montemayor cousins were womanizers, except for his brother Lucas. If it were up to him, Lucas would be the one to stay away from women because, for him, they were nothing but a headache and not needed in the cases he was investigating.
“Can you learn to shut up, Kaizer? I will rip your mouth off if you don’t stop minding my business,” Louis yelled. The butler looked between them but couldn’t do anything except sigh. He wasn’t used to seeing them constantly arguing like children.
Soon enough, they arrived at the jail where Sirius was. When he saw Louis with his butler, the young man already knew that he had asked for help from his cousins.
“You didn’t follow my orders. I said call my lawyer Efren, not them,” Sirius growled, as he hated being seen by anyone while in jail. He didn’t want his pride shattered because of one man who betrayed him.
“But sir, we don’t have any money left to pay the lawyer if I call Efren. Besides, that’s not the only thing we need, we also need new shareholders to get the company back up,” Vren, the butler, explained. His voice clearly showed concern for Sirius. He wasn’t even thinking of the danger if Sirius got angry and shot him because of his outburst.
“Your butler was right, except for one thing. Efren will never compensate money to Sirius because he is our family lawyer. And besides, he is our cousin, but the thing is, the man you want to call is in London with his girlfriend. You know, he’s preparing for a proposal. I will help you, but I know you don’t want any indulgence when I lend you my help. That’s why you should pay it back once you are able to get up,” Louis said seriously. Sirius still couldn’t shake the anger, as his butler’s actions had clearly hurt his pride.
Louis immediately spoke with the people in charge and ordered them to release Sirius. If not, their graves might be dug earlier than expected.
“Why would we release a man involved in illegal activities? Besides, we have evidence. If you want, we can show you,” one police officer arrogantly said while drinking coffee. His uniform almost stretched out because of his large belly. Louis just smiled at the officer’s attitude.
Louis immediately signaled Volstrige to call the head of those managing Sirius’s case, which Volstrige did.
“Bossing, it looks like our boss isn’t going to continue the shipment to you. Your kid’s been too persistent, and now our boss is getting cocky,” Volstrige said. The person on the other end of the line responded nervously to Volstrige’s words.
At this point, Louis put the phone on speaker so they could all hear the conversation. “Don’t be like that. If you want, just kill him, but don’t stop the shipment,” the man on the other line said. His voice revealed that he didn’t care about his employees as long as he kept Louis’s trust.
“Hmmm, what should I do with you? What do you think?” Louis asked sarcastically while twirling his favorite pistol in his hand.
“Please forgive me. Kill me if that’s what you want, but please, don’t involve my family,” the man pleaded, now kneeling like a meek lamb, unlike how he was earlier when he was arrogantly standing.
“Release Sirius now, I don’t want to hear any nonsense from you. Next time, know the person you will respect and remember my name. Louis Montemayor,” Louis said. He sat in the chair, but this time, the men brought him coffee while the arrogant man cleaned his shoes.
When they released Sirius, he immediately punched the man who had been cleaning his shoes. “Don’t you know my name, you f*cking asshole? You dared to put me in jail!” the young man yelled. His anger was evident on his face, and the veins on his temples bulged, showing that he wanted to kill the man standing in front of him.
Sirius immediately strangled him when Louis stopped him. “Don’t you dare stop me, Louis. I will not hesitate to kill you,” he threatened. Louis just raised his hand and then walked out.
Honestly, he didn’t care about Sirius’s actions. He knew the young man well. He didn’t know how to kill anyone with his hands. He always used others to get what he wanted.
Louis just called Eros to arrange a reservation for Desire Island because he still had to deal with Sirius’s company. In truth, of all the cousins, Sirius had the worst father, as their uncle Liam never made mistakes. That’s why Sirius grew up with high pride and dignity. When they were about five years old, he wasn’t allowed to play outside because he had to study the family business. That was the difference between them and the young man. If their uncle ever found out about what had happened to Sirius’s company, he might end up killing his son.
Because the most important thing to their family was their pride in the business world.
“Ugh, I almost threw up from the fear of Sir Sirius. He really goes crazy when he’s angry,” Powsh said as they were leaving the jail to follow Louis.
“You’re telling me. I thought he was going to strangle his butler too, but no, he just punched him. Good thing Sir Louis is our boss,” Brennon said as he took a cigarette from his pocket to light it.
“What’s good about that? Bossing almost killed us every time we bothered him. Also, that was just a punch, if it was us, we’d get shot. Damn, this life,” Volstrige said. Louis cleared his throat from behind them, and they immediately stopped.
“Assh*le,” Louis muttered to them. They saw Sirius walking out, still angry. Kaizer was with him.
“I will never be grateful for what you did, Louis. You should remember that,” Sirius said. His butler immediately ran to get Sirius’s car.
“I know. By the way, I invested five billion in your company. We are now business partners,” Louis replied. The young man didn’t answer him and continued walking to his car.
The butler stepped out and smiled, bowing to Louis to thank him. “Thank you very much. Don’t worry, my boss is also happy with your decision to invest in our company. Goodbye, Mr. Louis,” he politely said before getting into the car to drive.
“Bossing, is it really okay that you helped Sir Sirius? He doesn’t seem happy about your help,” Brennon said, scratching his head. Honestly, this was the first time they saw someone talk back to Louis, except for Kaizer, because he was close to the young man.
“Idiot, isn’t it obvious? That’s just how they are. The Montemayors are weird,” Volstrige said. Kaizer and Louis immediately responded.
“What did you say, idiot?”
“What did you say, dickhead?”
Volstrige immediately laughed because the two cousins were finally agreeing, even if they always argued like cats and dogs. It seemed they just didn’t want to hear any comments about their family.
Volstrige’s teasing ended when Louis’s phone rang, and he immediately answered it.
“My son, you need to come home. Something bad happened to Elaine,” his mother said in a panic, causing Kaizer to look at him.
“What happened to Elaine?” Kaizer asked, but Louis’s mother quickly ended the call, leaving him no choice but to get in the car. Before he could go, Kaizer was already in the car with him.
“What happened to Elaine?” Kaizer asked. Louis couldn’t answer because he had no idea what was going on.
He just hoped that Elaine was okay, or else he didn’t know what he might do.
Third Person’s Point of ViewLouis quickly accelerated the car. He was worried about the young woman, especially since his mother had mentioned that something bad had happened to her.“Damn,” he cursed while hitting the steering wheel because of the traffic. Just when he was in a hurry, traffic appeared in the area.“Can you calm down? As if you can stop the traffic with that, idiot,” Kaizer told him, but in truth, his hand had been shaking with fear about what had really happened to Elaine. He had liked her for a long time, but he always held himself back whenever they met because he didn’t want to complicate her mind with all that was going on.The truth was, he knew Elaine better than her future husband. There was nothing he could do about it, especially since he wasn’t sure if she liked him too. If he could, he would run away with her and live a simple life, but if that happened, there would be equally important things they'd lose that he couldn’t bear. When they arrived at the man
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost,” said the young lady, who was staring at Louis' pale face. She didn’t understand why the young man was reacting that way to the picture of her with her mother, who was holding her in her arms.“Who is that woman to you?” Louis asked. His mind was spinning because of what was happening, but suddenly, his head began to ache. The memory of his former nanny came rushing back.*** Flashback“Lou-lou, you shouldn’t be out at this hour. Your father will surely scold you,” lectured his favorite nanny, Serena. She was kind and always prioritized his feelings. In fact, she was the first person to see him cry, especially when his father scolded him.“But I want to go to Uncle Liam’s mansion. He will probably get mad at Sirius because of what we did. I want to defend him,” young Louis said, raising his hand as if on a mission. Compared to other children, Louis was more mature, even though he was only seven years
Elaine’s Point of ViewLouis remained silent while driving. We were heading to the resort that Aunt Hacel mentioned.I couldn't help but wonder what the conversation between him and my father was about. When he returned inside, he was quiet and didn't speak much. I was also shivering from the cold air conditioning, as it was blowing directly at me. Louis was the one driving while my father and Kaizer were in the other car.At first, Kaizer didn’t want to agree, but my father insisted that they not join us.“Wear this,” Louis said, slowly opening his compartment to grab a denim jacket. He handed it to me, which I quickly accepted because I was about to freeze from the cold. Even my legs were too stiff to move.“Thank you,” I said. Louis just nodded and continued driving. I wasn’t sure if Kaizer had already arrived at the resort before us because we were stuck in traffic. They might have gotten there thirty minutes earlier.“By the way, what did you and my father talk about?” I asked bec
Third Person’s Point of View"See for yourself, don’t tell me you have a new girlfriend again? Tss, that’s fast. We haven’t even killed Mariella in front of you, but don’t worry, I’ll make sure you see your new one die!" he shouted. His voice echoed throughout the place. About five people were already lying on the floor, dead from gunshot wounds to their hearts. The armed group surrounded Louis. Elaine was behind, trembling in fear. She was still holding the pistol that Louis gave her, but she didn’t know how to use it.She had only held a gun like this when she, Venice, and Elena went to a newly opened firearm training that taught how to handle guns, but they only went because of the good-looking instructor, who Elena had a huge crush on. Elena’s soul almost left her body every time Xypen approached her. However, they didn’t last long in the training because they saw him with another woman, which made Elena jealous. So, they decided to enroll elsewhere, which both she and Venice had r
Third Person’s Point of ViewElaine woke up because of the light. She saw the white ceiling, which immediately made her sit up."Child, you’re awake. Thank goodness, I thought I was going to lose you," her father said. He immediately approached her and embraced her. Kaizer was beside him, smiling at her, clearly aware of what had happened between her and Louis."I-I’m fine. Where’s Louis?" she asked, but Kaizer and her father only exchanged glances as if neither of them wanted to answer her question."F-Father?" she called Mr. Natividad, but he just smiled at her and gently placed his hand on her head."Child, it’s better if you rest for now. The nurse said you shouldn’t move too much, especially since what happened to you is very traumatic," Mr. Natividad answered, but Elaine couldn’t rest until she was sure Louis was okay. This was the reason she was still alive, and she wanted to thank him."But, Father, I want to see him. Is he alright? Tell me!" Elaine asked in a panic, trying to
Third Person’s Point of ViewJuliana and Alexa breathed a sigh of relief when they managed to hide in a nearby bar. Luckily, they had their IDs with them. The bouncers weren't too strict; Alexa had seduced them to get in right away.Fortunately, Alexa was skilled in such things, unlike Juliana, who was always focused on studying."I thought we wouldn't escape those people, but I’ve got another problem. How are we going to surprise sister Elaine?" Juliana asked. They sat at the counter to order drinks. They were exhausted from running and needed to refresh for a bit."But how can we surprise her if we can’t get into Uncle Alexander’s hospital? Argh, they’re such party poopers," Alexa said. She immediately pointed to the bartender, asking for the margarita cocktail she always ordered when going to parties."What about you guys? What do you want?" Juliana asked her companions. They immediately sat at the counter and ordered a lot of drinks, which surprised her."Idiots, I don’t have money

She wasn’t in a position to ask what they had discussed, and besides, it was the young man’s privacy. When she entered the room, she immediately put down the dog, a gift from the young man, along with the cat so that she could stretch her arms. She had been holding them outside for a while, and they might have been getting annoyed. “What should we name them?” she asked Louis, who was busy typing on his cellphone.“You should name them,” the young man replied. Third Person’s Point of View“We’ll just follow, Kai,” Elaine said. Louis hugged her from behind as if not want to leave the position they were in.“Okay, fine, but make it quick,” Kaizer replied, which made Elaine sigh because her thighs still hurt.“Hey, let’s have a shower before going to the restaurant,” Louis said. Elaine raised her left eyebrow since she couldn’t even stand because of what had happened between them.“Wife, are you okay?” the young man asked when she didn’t follow him as she stood up. Elaine immediately glared at him, which surprised him.“Do I look like I can stand in this position?” Elaine asked sarcastically. Louis looked at her in confusion, so she had no choice but to explain. “My thighs hurt because of your huge...!” she complained, covering her face in embarrassment. The young man immediately lifted her while laughing. Elaine pouted. “What’s so funny about what I said?” she asked, but he just kissed her on the lips.“Stop pouting. I can’t control myself fro
Third PersonWhen Louis arrived at the mansion where Mariella lived, Mr. Kernel immediately opened the gate for him, as he still remembered his plate number."Long time no see, Sir Louis," Mr. Kernel greeted as he saluted Louis, who parked the car carefully inside the garage.Mr. Kernel had been a loyal bodyguard for the De Vera family, even when Louis and Mariella were still in a relationship. It seemed that most of his cars were associated with the old guard."Yeah, it’s been a long time, Mr. Kernel," Louis replied as he got out of his car.As Louis entered the mansion, the first thing he noticed was the decor, which hadn’t changed at all. Perhaps Mariella hadn’t been decorating much lately due to her busy career.Louis then glanced at the maids, who were bowing to him at the side. “Where’s Mariella?” he asked. One of the maids, a petite woman named Elisse, immediately looked up.“It’s you, Sir Louis. Ma’am Mariella is in her old room on the second floor. Would you like me to accomp
Third PersonAfter leaving the mansion, Louis immediately got into the Honda Jazz parked in the garage. It was one of the gifts he received from his Uncle Alexander when he turned twenty-one.Honestly, Louis wanted to throw the car away because it was already years old. His garage was overflowing with vehicles due to the many cars he received every year. Some of the ones he didn’t like were given away to his female cousins.Louis couldn’t understand why his father insisted that he marry Elaine, especially since she was the granddaughter of their organization’s fierce rival. If it was protection he needed, why didn’t his father just provide him with bodyguards? When he sat in the driver’s seat, he angrily punched the steering wheel. He couldn’t accept why the girl was pretending not to know about his father’s plans, especially when it was so obvious that she was trying to attract his cousins who were involved in the organization to spy on the ledger.Louis knew he shouldn’t feel anythi
ElaineI woke up because of the sunlight hitting my eyelids.“Good morning, Ma’am Elaine, I brought you some hot coffee to help with your hangover,” Blaire said as she gently placed a cup with a happy face design on the side table.“Please just call me Elaine, and thank you for bringing the coffee,” I smiled and replied, sitting up. My head still ached from all the wine I drank last night.“I’m not used to calling people just by their first names, Ma’am and Sir are what I usually use for the people I serve. You know, it’s become a habit,” Blaire explained. She handed me a wet towel. After I wiped my face, she took the towel from my right hand and pointed to the coffee. “Drink this before it gets cold. It looks like you drank too much last night,” she said, and I scratched my head because I couldn’t remember much of what I did last night.“Thank you so much. By the way, was Kaizer the one who brought me home last night?” I asked, blowing on the coffee since it was too hot and nearly bu
Third PersonA few moments of silence passed between Kaizer and Elaine. Neither of them wanted to speak first, both of them nervous about what the other might be thinking.Eventually, Kaizer couldn’t take the silence anymore, so he sighed to get Elaine’s attention.“Come on, Ely, we shouldn’t waste time here. I’ll take you home, Louis is probably worried about you,” Kaizer said, causing Elaine to feel even more sadness about what she had witnessed.Elaine scratched her head, not wanting to go with Kaizer. She didn’t want to go home right away, especially after seeing Louis with another woman."W-Well," Elaine stammered. She wanted to explain why she didn’t want to go home, but no words came out.“Let’s enjoy here for a while,” Kaizer said when he sensed that the girl didn’t want to go with him. He gently lifted her bridal-style.Elaine was about to speak when Kaizer suddenly asked her, “Who did you come here with? Look at what almost happened to you,” he asked with a frown, clearly up
Third PersonIt had been hours since Elaine locked herself in the room after Louis left her alone. She couldn’t quite grasp what she had done wrong for the young man not to reciprocate her feelings for him.Elaine’s tears flowed endlessly as she tried to find Venice’s name in her contact list, hoping to release her frustrations about what Louis had said to her.Elaine had always thought that she would fall for Kaizer alone, so she had prepared herself to get hurt because she was sure he only saw her as a friend. But it turned out that what she would experience with Louis was even worse. She wanted to go somewhere to relax her mind, even if just for tonight."Hello, Ela, you called?" Venice asked, her face showing concern for Elaine, as it was rare for her to call."I-I’m sorry for calling at this hour," Elaine stammered, still sobbing.Venice immediately sensed that something was wrong on the other line and couldn’t help but feel sorry for her friend's situation.“It’s okay, it’s not
ElaineMy eyes widened in surprise because he was the one who would be my partner in the competition. I was expecting someone totally nerdy, just like me, but it looks like the rumors were true—he definitely has a strong presence. He even looks really hot, even in a uniform."We can just be partners, baby," Elena teased, grabbing Noah's hand that he offered to me.“Are you stupid? What will you answer in the competition? If you fight, our campus is already lost,” Venice teased, which made Elena raise an eyebrow.“Excuse me, I’m always winning in gay pageants. You can even ask me tough questions, like Catriona-level!” Elena said while pretending to wave at the audience.I saw Noah frown when Elena suddenly approached him and gently squeezed his arm.“I think Noah’s got it going on!” Elena said. You could see the annoyance on Noah's face from what Elena was doing.“Can you f*cking get lost? Your existence is making me mad,” Noah snapped, his jaw clenched in anger.“Oh, I like that, rawr
ElaineSeveral days had passed since I tried to run away from Louis' mansion with Blaire's help, but all of that was ruined when we were caught.**“And where do you think you’re going?” asked a familiar male voice.I immediately closed my eyes tightly. I felt Blaire squeeze my hand; all I could do was swallow nervously.“I said, where are you two going? Care to explain?” he repeated. I had no choice but to turn around to see who was speaking.Blaire and I would definitely be in trouble if this was Louis. When I turned around, my jaw almost dropped when I saw Tyron, frowning. His face showed confusion as he wondered why Blaire and I were leaving.“Tyron?” I asked in surprise. His expression immediately changed when he saw Blaire staring at him.“Hello, love,” Tyron said.He was so vulnerable when it came to Blaire. Just a moment ago, his face was all furrowed, but now he was smiling so widely it looked like his lips were about to come off.“Okay, I’m still here,” I teased, waving my h
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, baby. Leave that woman alone,” Penelope said. She grabbed Louis by the arm, but she was shocked when he suddenly shoved her forcefully, causing her to fall to the floor.“How dare you!” she shouted at him. He simply gave her a scornful look before throwing money at her.“Get out of my sight, I don’t like whores,” Louis replied. Penelope’s eyes widened in anger. Before standing up to face him, she picked up the money he had thrown at her.“Look at how thick-skinned you are to say that to me!” Penelope screamed. She was about to slap Louis when he blocked her with his right hand. “Do you really think a whore like you can lay your hand on my face?” Louis asked with a grin. He probably thought the young man wouldn’t notice that she had spiked his drink with sleeping pills to rob him. When Louis went to the bar feeling restless, Penelope immediately learned about the young man’s situation. She plans to seduce him so she can go to his mansion, where Loui
Elaine’s Point of ViewI woke up when I felt something cold touch my skin, a damp cloth. I immediately opened my eyes to see who was with me.The last thing I remember was being in Kaizer's arms while we were leaving the venue at Desire Island. If my guess is correct, I am here in his mansion. I also remembered what I said to Louis. I’m sure he got upset with what I said, but what could I do? I was too carried away by what he did to me, which is why I said that. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kaizer gently wiping my cheek with the cloth. He was looking at me seriously, but when he noticed that I opened my eyes, a smile appeared on his face."I'm glad you're awake, Ely," Kaizer said. I didn’t know how to respond because it felt like my tongue was tied in embarrassment. I’ve been giving him so much trouble. I noticed his black eye from when Louis punched him.I couldn’t help but feel shy around him. My eyes widened when he suddenly kissed my forehead.“I thought something had happened to
