Third Person’s Point of View
“We’ll just follow, Kai,” Elaine said. Louis hugged her from behind as if not want to leave the position they were in.
“Okay, fine, but make it quick,” Kaizer replied, which made Elaine sigh because her thighs still hurt.
“Hey, let’s have a shower before going to the restaurant,” Louis said. Elaine raised her left eyebrow since she couldn’t even stand because of what had happened between them.
“Wife, are you okay?” the young man asked when she didn’t follow him as she stood up. Elaine immediately glared at him, which surprised him.
“Do I look like I can stand in this position?” Elaine asked sarcastically. Louis looked at her in confusion, so she had no choice but to explain. “My thighs hurt because of your huge...!” she complained, covering her face in embarrassment.
The young man immediately lifted her while laughing. Elaine pouted. “What’s so funny about what I said?” she asked, but he just kissed her on the lips.
“Stop pouting. I can’t control myself from kissing you when you do that,” Louis said. Elaine immediately covered her lips because of what he stated.
Luckily, the room they were given had a bathtub. Since Louis' uncle owned the hospital, they got the best room.
“Round two?” the young man asked jokingly as he kissed Elaine’s neck. Elaine glared at him, which made him laugh. “Chill, wife,” Louis uttered as he lathered her back with soap. It seemed like her femininity was really hurting.
“Should I call a doctor?” Louis asked worriedly, but Elaine answered no because she was too embarrassed to let anyone know about what they had done.
After thirty minutes, they were done. The young man dressed her and carried her to the car.
They arrived at a French restaurant where they were going to have dinner.
Louis got out of the car first and opened the door. He helped her down. “Can you walk?” Louis asked. Elaine simply nodded and tried to take a step.
It hurt a little, but she forced herself to walk straight so that no one would notice that her thighs were aching.
Her father immediately spotted her and walked toward her. “Daughter, are you feeling okay?” he asked Elaine. She just nodded and smiled faintly.
He was about to hug her when Louis cleared his throat to grab his attention. “I’m sure Elaine is hungry. Let’s go inside,” Louis said, which her father immediately agreed to.
Elaine quietly thanked Louis. She slowly held onto his arm to keep her balance as she walked into the restaurant.
Time passed as they all chatted. “Where are Juliana and Alexa?” Louis asked since it was strange for them to leave right after he told them to.
“They’re at Tyron’s mansion. Juliana said they would help him with something,” Kaizer replied, to which Louis simply nodded.
After a few more hours, Louis started to say his goodbyes to the two of them since he and Elaine were going to Desire Island.
“Take care, both of you. If anything happens to my daughter, I don’t know what I’ll do to you,” Mr. Natividad warned, which Louis immediately nodded to.
“Don’t make any mistakes, Louis,” Kaizer warned and raised his middle finger to curse Louis.
As Louis was about to punch him, Elaine suddenly tripped, causing him to touch her bosom in order to catch her.
Her eyes widened. Before she could hit Louis, he picked her up bridal style and walked out of the restaurant.
Elaine remained silent during the trip, and after a while, she fell asleep. Louis smiled as he looked at the girl sleeping soundly.
He stopped on the side of the road to adjust her position. He grabbed a blanket from the back of the car and placed it over Elaine.

Elaine woke up as sunlight hit her face. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Louis sleeping peacefully beside her. She couldn’t help but smile, seeing how soundly the young man was sleeping. She stood up to cook breakfast for the two of them.
She was pleased with how beautiful the room was where they were staying. It seemed like they were finally at Desire Island. She opened the kitchen window and saw people passing by outside, some carrying dogs. Elaine wished they had brought Sherlock and Irene for a walk, but Louis had left them with Volstrige to take care of them while they were away.
Elaine opened the fridge to see if it had anything inside and was happy to find it fully stocked. She grabbed the eggs and bacon and started heating the gas stove to cook.
She hummed as she cooked when suddenly, she felt someone hug her from behind. “Good morning, wifey,” the young man greeted, resting his head on her shoulder.
She smiled at him and replied, “Good morning!”
“What are you cooking? It smells delicious,” Louis asked. Elaine smiled at him in return and looked back at the bacon to make sure it didn’t burn.
“Eggs and bacon,” she answered. Louis nodded and sat on the counter to wait for Elaine’s cooking to be done.
Louis grabbed the kettle and filled it with water to heat. Since Elaine was busy cooking, he decided to prepare their coffee.
He grabbed two cups and filled them with coffee. “Are you sure you don’t want my help? Are your thighs okay now?” Louis asked, to which Elaine nodded.
“That’s good to know. Do you want to watch a football game?”
Elaine paused at his question but answered with a smile on her face.
“Of course,” she said, since it seemed fun to watch a live sports game.
When Elaine finished cooking, they both enjoyed the breakfast she made. “Uhm, what do you think?” she asked, which made Louis smile and kiss her on the forehead.
“It’s delicious,” Louis said, trying to smile even though it was a little salty. He didn’t want to hurt her feelings.
After a few hours, they headed to the venue for the football competition. It wasn’t too far from where they were staying, so they arrived quickly.
When they got there, there were already a lot of people waiting, so it was hard to find a seat. Most of the people there were couples, and since it was Valentine’s Day, they had chosen this day for their date.
As soon as they sat down, Louis immediately handed Elaine his jacket because it was a bit cold inside.
After a while, Louis excused himself to buy some food for both of them, but what Elaine didn’t know was that he was preparing to propose to her.
Elaine nodded, and Louis left his seat to call Eros to ask about the reservation he made for them.
“Hola, amigo, what do you need?” Eros answered. Louis could hear a woman moaning on the other end of the line.
“What happened to my reservation?” Louis asked angrily, looking at his watch because he feared the girl might be looking for him soon.
“It was ready yesterday. My people are just waiting for you,” Eros replied. He was about to speak again when the woman moaned again, causing Louis to furrow his brow and hang up the call.
He only wanted to hear one kind of moan, and that was Elaine saying his name.
When he returned inside, he saw Eron Coleman talking to Elaine. Louis’ anger flared when he saw her laughing with him.
He quickly approached and cleared his throat to get their attention. Elaine turned to look at him. “You’re here already, Louis,” she said. Eron looked at him with a teasing look.
“Who is Louis Montemayor to you?” Eron asked. Elaine was about to answer when Louis suddenly stopped her.
“She’s my wife, so don’t f*cking try to get near her,” Louis said and pulled Elaine away. She was surprised when she suddenly pulled her hand away from him.
“A-Are you serious, Louis? You’re hurting me,” Elaine stammered since he was holding her right hand too tightly.
When Louis faced her, he looked at her with fiery eyes. “What do you think you’re doing with him, huh?” he shouted, seeming jealous that she was talking to Eron.
“He was just talking to me to—” Elaine was about to speak, but Louis interrupted her.
She was confused as to why he was so angry when he was the one who had questions about their relationship.
“Tss. I don’t want to hear anything you’ll say,” Louis muttered and began walking away from her.
Elaine was about to chase him when Eron stopped her.
“Elaine,” he called. She was shocked when she saw Louis talking to another woman. She was getting closer to him, almost flirting with him.
Elaine was about to confront the woman when she realized she had no position to stop Louis from flirting with anyone since they didn’t have a label yet.
Moreover, she was only going to be his wife because of his parents’ wishes.
So, why bother?
Elaine’s Point of ViewI don’t know why, but no voice was coming out of me until Eron suddenly pulled me away from Louis, who was busy talking to a woman. As he pulled me, tears I didn’t know the reason for suddenly started to fall from my eyes.It seemed like Louis didn’t care because he didn’t even spare me a glance. He was too busy talking to that woman. Who was she, and why was it that when she spoke to him, he didn’t want to pay attention to me?“Are you okay, Elaine?” Eron asked when he saw the tears falling from my eyes. I quickly wiped them away so he wouldn’t notice that I was crying out of frustration.“Ah, yes. I’m fine. Don’t mind me. I just got some dust in my eyes,” I lied, forcing a smile. He didn’t seem like a bad person since he said that Kaizer and Louis were his classmates in high school.I thought Louis would be happy to see Eron, but it seemed like things weren’t going well between them.We kept walking, but my feet started to ache, so I stopped for a moment to ca
Elaine's Point of ViewI couldn’t stop smiling when Louis suddenly hugged me. “Did you love it, wife?” he asked, and I immediately nodded. What woman wouldn’t be happy to be surprised like this? When Louis released me from the hug, I was suddenly embraced by Aunt Hacel. “Congratulations to both of you. I can’t wait to see you wearing your wedding gown,” she said. I smiled at her words, and I, too, was excited to see myself in a gown. I never expected to experience something like this until Louis came into my life and made me feel special, just like other women.I actually thought that Kaizer would be the one to make me feel this way. I had a crush on him when I entered college. He always made me feel beautiful, but the world is really small because I ended up falling for his cousin, and I’m about to marry him.“Thank you so much, Aunt Hacel. I’m excited, too,” I said. I was surprised when she widened her smile and suddenly took my hand to jump with me. I didn’t know what expression to
Elaine's Point of ViewWhen I pulled away from our kiss, I quickly looked around to find the source of the camera click. My jaw almost dropped when I saw the large cameras aimed at us, with a person holding a microphone.“We are here at Desire Island, and as you can all see, the heir of Montemayor Company, Louis Montemayor, is having an intense kiss with a woman. Just yesterday, rumors were circulating that he had surprised actress Mariella Althea De Vera, but what is this we’re seeing now?” asked the man holding the mic, moving in front of us.“Just go with the flow, they are reporters,” Louis whispered to me, and I just nodded. Could it be true that he ordered a surprise for Mariella, or did Juliana make a mistake? What still puzzles me is why Mariella came to my room to talk to Louis. What could they have discussed?“Can we interview you, Mr. Montemayor?” the reporter asked, and Louis nodded. He immediately pulled me in close and put his arm around me, causing the reporters around u
Elaine’s Point of ViewWhen I turned to see where the voice was coming from, I saw Kaizer standing with his arms crossed in front of us, his eyes blazing with anger. I immediately pushed Tyron to stand up and explain to him.“You’re thinking wrong, Kai,” I said. Tyron was about to explain when Kaizer suddenly punched him hard, knocking him to the floor. What is he doing?“What’s wrong with what I saw, Elaine? This idiot is hugging you. You’ve got some nerve, Tyron, even planning to hit on Elaine. Are there no more flings for you on Desire Island?” Kaizer yelled. I immediately covered my forehead in frustration as I helped Tyron get up since Kaizer’s punch had been so strong. Why are the Montemayor men always so hot-headed?“Shut up, Kai. Please, can you just let me explain!” I said, which immediately stopped him. I apologized to Tyron before turning to talk to Kaizer.“Tell me, Elaine. What did this idiot do to you?” Kaizer asked, furrowing his brows. He even checked my arms to see if
Third Person’s Point of ViewLouis woke up early. He wanted to cook breakfast for the young woman because he knew she must have been exhausted from what they had done the previous night, and he wanted to spend some time with her before heading to Sirius’s mansion. On the other hand, Elaine slowly got out of bed. Her lower body was swollen. Thankfully, Louis wasn’t beside her anymore. She was sure she would feel embarrassed if he saw her, especially the way she looked when she tried to walk.Elaine went to the bathroom, which was inside the room with Louis. She started to shower so that she would look fresh in front of him. When she was finished, she went downstairs to the kitchen to cook something for herself when she saw Louis wearing an apron and making pancakes. She immediately hugged him from behind, which made him turn to face her. “Are your legs fine now?” Louis asked. Elaine scratched her head, as this was the first thing he asked her. She was still a bit embarrassed to admit th
Elaine’s Point of View“Are you okay, dear? How are you holding up?” Mommy Hacel asked. She had already gotten out of the car because I was still feeling nauseous from the dizziness. I couldn’t handle her fast driving. I almost lost my breath from the anxiety. We were in front of a large mansion. She said we were going to pick up Sandra and Lexy first, so we came to Reverence Street, where they lived.“I-I’m fine,” I stammered before unbuckling my seatbelt so I could get out of the car.“Oh, dear. Those two will be so happy to see you. They couldn’t come to the party because they were busy with work,” Mommy Hacel said as I got out of the car. Next time, I’ll make sure to stop her from holding the car keys. She really is scary to drive with.“Is that so? What do they do for work?” I asked with a smile, curious about the people close to Louis. I also wanted to get to know them so I could become close to them.“Sandra is a flight attendant. She doesn’t come home often. Lexy, on the other
Elaine’s Point of ViewTears were still relentlessly falling from my eyes. I tried to stand up to turn off the shower because I felt like a wet chicken. The water had soaked my clothes completely since earlier.Honestly, what Louis said was the most painful thing I have ever heard in my entire life. I had gotten used to being called ugly in my old school because I had so many pimples and because of the nerdy clothes I wore.I started changing clothes. If I kept sulking, my father would definitely wonder why I was taking so long to come down, and they might even notice my puffy eyes from crying. Maybe I was the only one who had feelings for Louis. If I had known that he only did all those surprises for his inheritance, I should have stopped myself from falling for him. What woman wouldn't fall for someone who made that much effort? My thoughts were interrupted when someone suddenly knocked on the door. “Elaine, dear,” Mommy Hacel called out. I quickly rushed to get dressed and tried to
Elaine’s Point of ViewAfter the call ended, I quickly went to the closet room because I remembered what Mommy Hacel had said about the clothes she was sure I would need.I opened the door, and I was greeted by cabinets connected around the entire room. Right next to this room was the one Louis and I used to share, but now it was only his.I didn’t know what to choose first, but I opened the closet closest to me.I started looking for something to wear. I didn’t want to embarrass myself at the party, especially since Louis would be there and possibly have another woman as his partner. It would also be awkward for Kaizer if I didn’t at least make an effort to look good.I was glad Mommy Hacel thought to put together a closet room with various types of clothes. She said it was for occasions like this so I wouldn’t have to buy clothes every time there’s an event. She also mentioned that the Montemayor family values their reputation, so they always wear designer brands. They wanted to be t
ElaineThe days passed quickly, and we learned the news that Zap had escaped, so our security doubled as we searched for leads on who helped Zap escape and where my real father was.I let out a deep sigh before leaning my head against the chair. I thought the evil of the Valencias was over, but we were back to square one."Everything will be fine, wife. As long as we are together, we can do anything. I’ll dispatch more people to look for leads," Louis said. He held my hand. I smiled."Thank you, hubby, for always being by my side. Even when I’m still looking for a part of my past identity, you're patient," I said and kissed him on the cheek. That evening, while I was working on paperwork that the wedding organizer gave me, Mace suddenly started crying.I quickly stood up and went to the nursery room, "Wah, Mama." I picked her up and saw Louis enter, holding Caliber in his arms.He asked, "What happened?""Hubby, can you grab the diapers? I think she’s crying because it's already full.
LouisI’ve always thought of myself as the man who knew everything. Someone who was calculated, cold, and efficient—that’s who I am. Or rather, who I was before Elaine. She wasn’t just a woman I was ordered to marry; she was the reason I started questioning everything about my carefully constructed world. It all started when I saw her for the first time walking with her friends down the street. I was in the backseat of my car, flipping through meaningless reports about the family’s business, when I caught sight of her. She wasn’t extraordinary by any conventional standard. She had oversized glasses perched on her nose, braces, and hair that seemed to have a life of its own. Yet, there was something about her laugh. It was carefree. It was pure.“Who’s that woman?” I blurted out, startling Brennon. His eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, confused. “I—I don’t know, sir. Should I find out?”I stayed quiet. My heart clenched for reasons I didn’t understand. Why did I care? She wasn’t the
ElaineThe breeze was cold on the day I went to the cemetery. The sun was high, but it didn’t hurt my skin because it was already late afternoon. It was quiet, but I still felt the heaviness in my heart as I walked the path to my father’s grave. Everything that happened was still fresh in my mind, and in the blink of an eye, all the evil deeds of the Valencias were over. But I knew that this wasn’t the end because there were still organizations that wanted to get their hands on the ledger, which I still couldn’t remember. In the end, Zap was imprisoned with multiple charges while Mariella was taken by Lucas to a psychiatrist because she was almost driven insane by everything that happened.I read the inscription on the tombstone that said Raymond Natividad. I placed the bouquet of white roses down and lit a candle. He was such a good father to me, doing everything to protect me.“In a few months, I’ll be giving birth. I’ll make sure to bring them here so you can see them,” I said as m
ElaineWhen I opened my eyes, I felt the pain from the restraints tied to my hands. They were tight and cold, as if purposely tightened to cause severe pain. I trembled as I looked around. It seemed like we were in a storage room, and aside from me, there were two others—Kaizer and Father, both tied to chairs."Ely..." Kai’s voice was weak but filled with concern. "Are you okay?"I nodded, even though my heart contradicted the words. It was racing in fear and anxiety over what might happen to us."Do you know where we are?" I asked, my voice cracking. He shook his head. "All I know is that we've been kidnapped by the Valencia Organization. I don’t know how they found us, but I’ll make sure we escape."I was scared for the baby in my womb. It had nothing to do with this."Everything will be fine, Ely, trust me," Kaizer said. It seemed like he had a plan."Ugh," Father groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. When he saw Kaizer and me, his brows furrowed immediately. "What are you two doin
ElaineLouis and I stayed in Florida for two more weeks. When Louis saw me that night, he was always comforting me. We rarely went out again, and when we did, we always had a bodyguard with us. He didn’t ask me what happened, it seemed like he was waiting for me to tell him on my own.Today, Valerian will pick us up to take us back to the Philippines.“I want to stay here for a while,” I said while organizing the clothes and souvenirs we bought.“We will come back here again. This is one of our houses now, I just need to finish all my work,” Louis answered and pecked a kiss on my cheek. When we got in the car, Valerian smiled at me. “Looks like the newlyweds enjoyed their honeymoon that much. Aunt Hacel said to get both of you after three days, but someone wants to stay longer.”“Shut up, dickhead,” Louis said, and I laughed. So, he was the one who planned for us to stay here for a month.“You really hurt my feelings with that greeting, man. A gift for your godchild?” Valerian asked.
ElaineIt had been a week, and Louis and I had fallen into a routine. We were like a real married couple. Every morning, he cooked for me, and we spent our days exploring different places. Almost every night, something would happen between us. Honestly, it all felt like a dream, and I never wanted to wake up.“Wife, are you still mad at me? I didn’t mean to be rough last night,” Louis asked while trying to feed me some rice.“No. I’m not mad,” I answered briefly.“Then why are you so quiet, hmm?” he asked again. The truth was, I wished we could just stay here because I was afraid that once we went back home, things between us would change again.“I’m just thinking,” I said. His face turned serious. “What is it? You can tell me.”I forced a small smile. It was better to keep what I saw to myself for now. He might think I was involved with Zap.“I’m just thinking about where we should go today. There are so many beautiful places here. I’ll take a quick shower so we can leave,” I said, k
ElaineI woke up because the sunlight was hitting my face; it seemed like Louis was still not back. I slowly got up because my head still hurt a little, and my eyes were swollen. My fingers still had cuts from picking up the broken picture frame.I went to the kitchen and took the photo. I stared at it once more before crumpling it and putting it inside my pocket. Louis must not see this—I’m sure that only Father can answer all the questions I have about the true identity of this man.I opened the fridge, but it contained nothing except water. I sighed and took a shower so I could go out. I needed to find a grocery store.“Wife, where are you going?”My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when I saw Louis. His hair was messy, and he had deep eye bags. His clothes had traces of blood, and there was a scratch on his forehead.“Are you okay?” I asked, touching the wound on his forehead.I quickly realized what I was doing. Why should I care? I shouldn’t, but my heart couldn’t help but wo
ElaineI was startled awake when I suddenly heard a loud ringtone coming from Louis' cellphone."Answer your call," I ordered. I saw Louis decline the call and return his gaze to me."I'm sorry for waking you up," Louis said.I rubbed my eyes to see his face more clearly since the room was dim."It's okay, I was just startled. But why are you still awake?" I asked him as I was about to get up to get a drink from the kitchen.Ouch.I immediately shut my eyes tightly when I felt a sharp pain in my lower body. The same thing happened to me after our first time. It felt like my body was being split in two.Noticing that I seemed to be in pain, Louis helped me up. "Are you okay, wife? Should I call a doctor?" he asked with concern, making me stare at him.Was he really concerned about me?I smiled in amusement, but Ashton’s words suddenly echoed in my mind.Louis was just using me. That’s all. I shouldn’t fall for his actions anymore."I'm fine, it's just that my lower part is sore. Someon
ElaineAs soon as I returned inside the venue, Venice immediately approached me.“Good thing you’re finally here, bestie. Everyone is waiting for you on the balcony so that you and Louis can receive Aunt Hacel’s gift,” she said. I couldn’t help but swallow due to nervousness. What is the Montemayor family up to this time?I quickly forced a smile when I saw Venice still looking at me. She had no idea about what was going on between Louis and me. I couldn’t blame her because I was sure Volstrige would keep it a secret from her.“Sorry, I was late again. I just went to the restroom for a bit,” I explained and was about to step forward when Venice suddenly grabbed my arm, stopping me.“Wait a moment, bestie. I was really waiting for you here because I have something to give you. Also, are you spaced out? That’s not the way to the balcony. Is that the effect of alcohol?” She burst into laughter. When I realized she was right, I couldn’t help but close my eyes in embarrassment.“I wasn’t g
