Third Person’s Point of View
“Wife, why are you taking so long to come in? Does Louis have another fling again?” asked a man who looked just like Louis, the only difference being that his appearance showed signs of aging, even though he still looked like a teenager.
The man stopped locking the car when he saw Elaine. He recognized her face because he had ordered Louis to marry the young woman.
“Who are you, miss, and why are you in my son’s mansion? Explain yourself,” the woman said grumpily, raising an eyebrow. She looked at Elaine, who didn’t know what to say since the young man hadn’t told her that his parents would also be coming.
“M-Me? Uh... uh,” Elaine stuttered. Louis’s father stopped Louis’s mother from pulling Elaine’s hair because she was about to drag her out.
“Wife, she’s the woman I was telling Louis about. For Pete’s sake, it’s embarrassing to treat your son’s bride like that,” Louis’s father said, which made Louis’s mother realize what she was doing to Elaine. She immediately hugged her.
“I’m sorry. You must be our future daughter-in-law. I thought he brought home another woman,” Louis’s mother said, which made Elaine laugh. She didn’t expect the woman to be kind, especially after thinking that she was going to be eaten alive by her earlier.
Thank goodness Louis’s father was there. If not, she probably would have lost all her hair. What a lifesaver!
“It’s okay,” Elaine replied, smiling at Louis’s father, who immediately excused himself to get something from the car.
“Let’s have a seat, daughter,” She said as they slowly sat down on the chair where Elaine had been sitting earlier.
“I’m Hacel Montemayor, Louis’s mother. You can call me mom, and I won’t take no for an answer,” she cheerfully said while holding both of Elaine’s hands.
“I’m Elaine, M-Mom,” the young woman stuttered, not expecting to be facing the mother of one of the richest CEOs in the world.
“Anyway, when will the baby be coming?” she asked with a smile, which surprised Elaine. She suddenly remembered what had happened between her and Louis on their first night together when she almost gave him her virginity.
“I’m not pregnant,” Elaine replied. It was clear that Louis’s mother was disappointed by the answer. She knew this conversation with Louis would come sooner or later, but she didn’t expect it to be this awkward.
“Why not? Your wedding with Louis is fast approaching. Don’t tell me nothing has happened between you and my son?” The woman asked straightforwardly. She called for the maid to bring food for them.
“W-We haven’t done anything yet, Louis and I,” Elaine stammered, nervous. Every time she remembered what Louis did to her earlier that morning and the early hours, she couldn’t stop blushing. Why was she so affected by the young man?
“Oh, dear, my son is so weak in handling things. I have an idea, daughter, don’t worry. Why don’t you and Louis go to Desire Island one day? You know, on Valentine’s Day,” Hacel whispered, giddy with excitement.
She was clearly excited to have a grandchild from their only son. Every time she went to high school reunions, many of her classmates already had grandchildren.
“P-Pardon?” Elaine asked, stuttering. The maids started serving the food that Louis’s mother had ordered.
“You see, daughter, our husbands are busy. So if you want to get noticed for your beauty, wear some lingerie. Then tie it to the bed so that—” The woman was cut off when Elaine suddenly spat out the strawberry juice she was drinking because of what she said. From the outside, the woman looked religious, but after hearing her speak, Elaine just wanted to sink into the ground.
“Hon, what are you two talking about? You seem to be getting along well,” Louis’s father said as he slowly approached his wife.
“Oh, I was just advising my daughter-in-law on how to make us a grandchild,” she said, smiling while eating a blueberry cheesecake. Before he could respond, the doorbell rang, and the maid at the door was instructed to open it.
“Ma’am, Miss Elaine’s father is here. Should I let him in?” the maid asked. Elaine stood up in joy. Hacel nodded.
When Elaine’s father entered, she immediately ran to hug him. “Welcome, amigo,” Louis’s father, Izaak Montemayor, greeted him. Elaine’s father simply nodded at him.

As soon as Louis entered the building, all the employees he passed bowed down. What was odd, though, was that they were all wearing red.
When he reached his office, his secretary immediately greeted him with a “Happy Valentine’s Day,” which caused him to frown. What the fuck is Valentine’s Day for?*
“Get out. All employees wearing red are fired. I didn’t permit them to wear whatever they want in my company,” Louis said, and his secretary Tiffany immediately nodded. She, too, was wearing red and had to change if she didn’t want to lose her job.
“Good morning, bossing. You seem to be in a bad mood. By the way, Happy Valentine’s Day! What’s your gift for your soon-to-be wife?” Volstrige asked with a grin. Louis just glared at him, causing Volstrige to take a step back.
“Damn, I told you not to bother bossing this morning. Looks like he didn’t have a good time with Ma’am Elaine,” Volstrige said.
“What’s the occasion?” one of them asked, surprising the three of them. Volstrige cleared his throat and confidently spoke.
“Valentine’s Day is when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts,” Volstrige said. Brennon immediately slapped him.
“Idiot, you’re holding a cheat sheet. Give me your phone!” Brennon said as he wrestled with Volstrige because he hadn’t finished reading what was on the screen.
“But bossing, that’s still one day away. If you want, we can buy a gift for Ma’am Elaine,” Alex suggested, which made Louis frown even more as they mentioned the occasion today.
“What gift does a woman want to receive on Valentine’s Day?” Louis asked seriously.
“Flowers.”
“Sex.”
“Chocolates.”
The young man raised an eyebrow at their suggestions. Volstrige immediately approached Louis.
“You know, bossing, if you ask me, to make Ma’am Elaine’s day great, you two should go on vacation to an island by yourselves and make love. She’ll be happy, and so will you,” Volstrige said, showing advertising photos of Desire Island.
“Idiot, I’m sure you need something from Eros again, that’s why you’re advertising his island. Monkey!” Brennon teased. Louis pulled out his gun and pointed it at the two of them.
“Useless idiots, get out!” he shouted. The three of them hurriedly ran out of Louis’s office in fear.
“You bastards, you’re ruining my business,” Volstrige muttered as they exited. He was almost going to convince Louis if it weren’t for these two monkeys.
Louis couldn’t stay still, so he decided to call his cousin in the United States, Juliana Montemayor.
“Hello, brother Louis. Do you need something?” she asked. She was Kaizer’s sister, studying at Harvard. She was the smartest among her siblings.
“Yes, what should I give to a woman?” Louis asked directly, causing his cousin to laugh because this was the first time he had asked such a question.
“Are you serious? And who is the lucky woman you’re giving it to?” Juliana asked, curious. It was the first time Louis had asked her about a woman.
“None of your business. If you want to see your boyfriend alive, you better tell me,” Louis threatened, which immediately made Juliana cough because she hadn’t told Louis that she had a boyfriend.
“Fine. What else can I do? Hmm, bouquets and chocolates are too common. How about dogs or cats?” she suggested while busy with some activities.
“Where’s Alexa? Tell her to bring the most expensive dog and cat to my mansion before Valentine’s Day. I will transfer the money later,” Louis said, about to hang up when Juliana suddenly spoke.
“Wait, how will we get what you’ve asked for?” she asked, finding it quite impossible since they only had one day left.
“Through my private airplane. Say my name at the airport. I will tell Valerian,” Louis said, then ended the call. He grabbed the briefcase from the desk.
He planned to visit Eros to rent out the whole of Desire Island for Valentine’s Day. He wanted to spend that day alone with Elaine.
He didn’t know why he was feeling differently about her. Before, he never cared about these kinds of occasions. Maybe he just didn’t want to disappoint what his father wanted. I’m just doing it for myself, not for Elaine, he convinced himself.
“Bossing, where are you going?” Volstrige asked, but Louis didn’t answer, so Volstrige kept following him like a dog.
“Sir Louis, you have a meeting at 1 p.m.,” Tiffany said, biting her lip, clearly trying to entice him. She had changed into a revealing outfit, with a deep neckline and a short skirt that almost showed her underwear.
“You’re fired,” Louis replied and quickly walked away, but Tiffany grabbed his elbow and pressed it against her cleavage.
“Sir, please, I really need this job,” she begged, pulling her elbow closer to her cleavage, but Louis immediately removed it.
“Bossing, looks like your secretary’s into you. I wonder what Ma’am Elaine will say when she finds out you’re pressing your elbow into another woman’s cleavage?” Volstrige teased as he smirked. Tiffany was startled and immediately knelt to beg Louis for forgiveness.
“Leave before I bury you alive,” Louis threatened. Tiffany quickly walked out, embarrassed in front of the crowd.
“I don’t think your act will go this far,” Kaizer said, entering the company with a folder in hand.
“Mind your own business, dickhead,” Louis muttered, about to leave the building when Kaizer suddenly spoke.
“I got the information you want to know about the Lombardi family,” Kaizer said. He handed Louis the white folder containing the information.
“Where are you going?” Kaizer added. Louis just glared at him.
“When did I permit you to ask me a question?” Louis snapped. The tension between them escalated when Kaizer spoke again.
“You probably didn’t do anything with Elaine,” Kaizer said, his voice laced with anger toward Louis.
“What will you do if I say we had an exciting night yesterday?” Louis replied with a grin. The three of them immediately started teasing their boss.
“Damn, you’re ruthless, boss!” Volstrige shouted while clapping. Kaizer pulled out his gun and pointed it at Louis.
“Sir Louis Montemayor,” a man said, running toward them, looking anxious.
“My boss, Sirius Montemayor, needs your help. He’s now in jail,” the man said. When he saw Kaizer holding the gun, he immediately lowered his head in fear.
“Have mercy on me, Sir Kaizer. I’m just here to ask for help for your cousin,” the man pleaded, and Louis and Kaizer both recognized him as Sirius’s butler.
“You should know the consequences if this is not important,” Louis warned, slowly descending to his Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.
This was the first time Sirius Montemayor needed his help. Louis knew his cousin well enough to know that Sirius would never ask anyone for help because of his pride.
Third Person’s Point of ViewSirius's butler was restless as they headed to the jail. In truth, in his six years of service to his master, this was the first time something like this had happened to him. Sirius would get mad at him when they arrived, and he was with two of his cousins. What Sirius hated the most was asking for help from anyone, especially people he knew.He didn’t want to be judged. Once, the young man almost killed him because he reported him to his parents, something Sirius hated. He tried to live without asking for anyone’s help, but Sirius had no choice now because his situation was so bad that it threatened the company he had been protecting.“Can you tell us what really happened?” Kaizer asked while Louis was busy looking at his phone. His mother had been calling nonstop earlier, telling him to come home because they were already at the mansion to discuss the wedding. As much as he wanted to go home, he couldn’t because his cousin needed him now.“This is what ha
Third Person’s Point of ViewLouis quickly accelerated the car. He was worried about the young woman, especially since his mother had mentioned that something bad had happened to her.“Damn,” he cursed while hitting the steering wheel because of the traffic. Just when he was in a hurry, traffic appeared in the area.“Can you calm down? As if you can stop the traffic with that, idiot,” Kaizer told him, but in truth, his hand had been shaking with fear about what had really happened to Elaine. He had liked her for a long time, but he always held himself back whenever they met because he didn’t want to complicate her mind with all that was going on.The truth was, he knew Elaine better than her future husband. There was nothing he could do about it, especially since he wasn’t sure if she liked him too. If he could, he would run away with her and live a simple life, but if that happened, there would be equally important things they'd lose that he couldn’t bear. When they arrived at the man
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost,” said the young lady, who was staring at Louis' pale face. She didn’t understand why the young man was reacting that way to the picture of her with her mother, who was holding her in her arms.“Who is that woman to you?” Louis asked. His mind was spinning because of what was happening, but suddenly, his head began to ache. The memory of his former nanny came rushing back.*** Flashback“Lou-lou, you shouldn’t be out at this hour. Your father will surely scold you,” lectured his favorite nanny, Serena. She was kind and always prioritized his feelings. In fact, she was the first person to see him cry, especially when his father scolded him.“But I want to go to Uncle Liam’s mansion. He will probably get mad at Sirius because of what we did. I want to defend him,” young Louis said, raising his hand as if on a mission. Compared to other children, Louis was more mature, even though he was only seven years
Elaine’s Point of ViewLouis remained silent while driving. We were heading to the resort that Aunt Hacel mentioned.I couldn't help but wonder what the conversation between him and my father was about. When he returned inside, he was quiet and didn't speak much. I was also shivering from the cold air conditioning, as it was blowing directly at me. Louis was the one driving while my father and Kaizer were in the other car.At first, Kaizer didn’t want to agree, but my father insisted that they not join us.“Wear this,” Louis said, slowly opening his compartment to grab a denim jacket. He handed it to me, which I quickly accepted because I was about to freeze from the cold. Even my legs were too stiff to move.“Thank you,” I said. Louis just nodded and continued driving. I wasn’t sure if Kaizer had already arrived at the resort before us because we were stuck in traffic. They might have gotten there thirty minutes earlier.“By the way, what did you and my father talk about?” I asked bec
Third Person’s Point of View"See for yourself, don’t tell me you have a new girlfriend again? Tss, that’s fast. We haven’t even killed Mariella in front of you, but don’t worry, I’ll make sure you see your new one die!" he shouted. His voice echoed throughout the place. About five people were already lying on the floor, dead from gunshot wounds to their hearts. The armed group surrounded Louis. Elaine was behind, trembling in fear. She was still holding the pistol that Louis gave her, but she didn’t know how to use it.She had only held a gun like this when she, Venice, and Elena went to a newly opened firearm training that taught how to handle guns, but they only went because of the good-looking instructor, who Elena had a huge crush on. Elena’s soul almost left her body every time Xypen approached her. However, they didn’t last long in the training because they saw him with another woman, which made Elena jealous. So, they decided to enroll elsewhere, which both she and Venice had r
Third Person’s Point of ViewElaine woke up because of the light. She saw the white ceiling, which immediately made her sit up."Child, you’re awake. Thank goodness, I thought I was going to lose you," her father said. He immediately approached her and embraced her. Kaizer was beside him, smiling at her, clearly aware of what had happened between her and Louis."I-I’m fine. Where’s Louis?" she asked, but Kaizer and her father only exchanged glances as if neither of them wanted to answer her question."F-Father?" she called Mr. Natividad, but he just smiled at her and gently placed his hand on her head."Child, it’s better if you rest for now. The nurse said you shouldn’t move too much, especially since what happened to you is very traumatic," Mr. Natividad answered, but Elaine couldn’t rest until she was sure Louis was okay. This was the reason she was still alive, and she wanted to thank him."But, Father, I want to see him. Is he alright? Tell me!" Elaine asked in a panic, trying to
Third Person’s Point of ViewJuliana and Alexa breathed a sigh of relief when they managed to hide in a nearby bar. Luckily, they had their IDs with them. The bouncers weren't too strict; Alexa had seduced them to get in right away.Fortunately, Alexa was skilled in such things, unlike Juliana, who was always focused on studying."I thought we wouldn't escape those people, but I’ve got another problem. How are we going to surprise sister Elaine?" Juliana asked. They sat at the counter to order drinks. They were exhausted from running and needed to refresh for a bit."But how can we surprise her if we can’t get into Uncle Alexander’s hospital? Argh, they’re such party poopers," Alexa said. She immediately pointed to the bartender, asking for the margarita cocktail she always ordered when going to parties."What about you guys? What do you want?" Juliana asked her companions. They immediately sat at the counter and ordered a lot of drinks, which surprised her."Idiots, I don’t have money

She wasn’t in a position to ask what they had discussed, and besides, it was the young man’s privacy. When she entered the room, she immediately put down the dog, a gift from the young man, along with the cat so that she could stretch her arms. She had been holding them outside for a while, and they might have been getting annoyed. “What should we name them?” she asked Louis, who was busy typing on his cellphone.“You should name them,” the young man replied. Third PersonWhen Louis arrived at the mansion where Mariella lived, Mr. Kernel immediately opened the gate for him, as he still remembered his plate number."Long time no see, Sir Louis," Mr. Kernel greeted as he saluted Louis, who parked the car carefully inside the garage.Mr. Kernel had been a loyal bodyguard for the De Vera family, even when Louis and Mariella were still in a relationship. It seemed that most of his cars were associated with the old guard."Yeah, it’s been a long time, Mr. Kernel," Louis replied as he got out of his car.As Louis entered the mansion, the first thing he noticed was the decor, which hadn’t changed at all. Perhaps Mariella hadn’t been decorating much lately due to her busy career.Louis then glanced at the maids, who were bowing to him at the side. “Where’s Mariella?” he asked. One of the maids, a petite woman named Elisse, immediately looked up.“It’s you, Sir Louis. Ma’am Mariella is in her old room on the second floor. Would you like me to accomp
Third PersonAfter leaving the mansion, Louis immediately got into the Honda Jazz parked in the garage. It was one of the gifts he received from his Uncle Alexander when he turned twenty-one.Honestly, Louis wanted to throw the car away because it was already years old. His garage was overflowing with vehicles due to the many cars he received every year. Some of the ones he didn’t like were given away to his female cousins.Louis couldn’t understand why his father insisted that he marry Elaine, especially since she was the granddaughter of their organization’s fierce rival. If it was protection he needed, why didn’t his father just provide him with bodyguards? When he sat in the driver’s seat, he angrily punched the steering wheel. He couldn’t accept why the girl was pretending not to know about his father’s plans, especially when it was so obvious that she was trying to attract his cousins who were involved in the organization to spy on the ledger.Louis knew he shouldn’t feel anythi
ElaineI woke up because of the sunlight hitting my eyelids.“Good morning, Ma’am Elaine, I brought you some hot coffee to help with your hangover,” Blaire said as she gently placed a cup with a happy face design on the side table.“Please just call me Elaine, and thank you for bringing the coffee,” I smiled and replied, sitting up. My head still ached from all the wine I drank last night.“I’m not used to calling people just by their first names, Ma’am and Sir are what I usually use for the people I serve. You know, it’s become a habit,” Blaire explained. She handed me a wet towel. After I wiped my face, she took the towel from my right hand and pointed to the coffee. “Drink this before it gets cold. It looks like you drank too much last night,” she said, and I scratched my head because I couldn’t remember much of what I did last night.“Thank you so much. By the way, was Kaizer the one who brought me home last night?” I asked, blowing on the coffee since it was too hot and nearly bu
Third PersonA few moments of silence passed between Kaizer and Elaine. Neither of them wanted to speak first, both of them nervous about what the other might be thinking.Eventually, Kaizer couldn’t take the silence anymore, so he sighed to get Elaine’s attention.“Come on, Ely, we shouldn’t waste time here. I’ll take you home, Louis is probably worried about you,” Kaizer said, causing Elaine to feel even more sadness about what she had witnessed.Elaine scratched her head, not wanting to go with Kaizer. She didn’t want to go home right away, especially after seeing Louis with another woman."W-Well," Elaine stammered. She wanted to explain why she didn’t want to go home, but no words came out.“Let’s enjoy here for a while,” Kaizer said when he sensed that the girl didn’t want to go with him. He gently lifted her bridal-style.Elaine was about to speak when Kaizer suddenly asked her, “Who did you come here with? Look at what almost happened to you,” he asked with a frown, clearly up
Third PersonIt had been hours since Elaine locked herself in the room after Louis left her alone. She couldn’t quite grasp what she had done wrong for the young man not to reciprocate her feelings for him.Elaine’s tears flowed endlessly as she tried to find Venice’s name in her contact list, hoping to release her frustrations about what Louis had said to her.Elaine had always thought that she would fall for Kaizer alone, so she had prepared herself to get hurt because she was sure he only saw her as a friend. But it turned out that what she would experience with Louis was even worse. She wanted to go somewhere to relax her mind, even if just for tonight."Hello, Ela, you called?" Venice asked, her face showing concern for Elaine, as it was rare for her to call."I-I’m sorry for calling at this hour," Elaine stammered, still sobbing.Venice immediately sensed that something was wrong on the other line and couldn’t help but feel sorry for her friend's situation.“It’s okay, it’s not
ElaineMy eyes widened in surprise because he was the one who would be my partner in the competition. I was expecting someone totally nerdy, just like me, but it looks like the rumors were true—he definitely has a strong presence. He even looks really hot, even in a uniform."We can just be partners, baby," Elena teased, grabbing Noah's hand that he offered to me.“Are you stupid? What will you answer in the competition? If you fight, our campus is already lost,” Venice teased, which made Elena raise an eyebrow.“Excuse me, I’m always winning in gay pageants. You can even ask me tough questions, like Catriona-level!” Elena said while pretending to wave at the audience.I saw Noah frown when Elena suddenly approached him and gently squeezed his arm.“I think Noah’s got it going on!” Elena said. You could see the annoyance on Noah's face from what Elena was doing.“Can you f*cking get lost? Your existence is making me mad,” Noah snapped, his jaw clenched in anger.“Oh, I like that, rawr
ElaineSeveral days had passed since I tried to run away from Louis' mansion with Blaire's help, but all of that was ruined when we were caught.**“And where do you think you’re going?” asked a familiar male voice.I immediately closed my eyes tightly. I felt Blaire squeeze my hand; all I could do was swallow nervously.“I said, where are you two going? Care to explain?” he repeated. I had no choice but to turn around to see who was speaking.Blaire and I would definitely be in trouble if this was Louis. When I turned around, my jaw almost dropped when I saw Tyron, frowning. His face showed confusion as he wondered why Blaire and I were leaving.“Tyron?” I asked in surprise. His expression immediately changed when he saw Blaire staring at him.“Hello, love,” Tyron said.He was so vulnerable when it came to Blaire. Just a moment ago, his face was all furrowed, but now he was smiling so widely it looked like his lips were about to come off.“Okay, I’m still here,” I teased, waving my h
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, baby. Leave that woman alone,” Penelope said. She grabbed Louis by the arm, but she was shocked when he suddenly shoved her forcefully, causing her to fall to the floor.“How dare you!” she shouted at him. He simply gave her a scornful look before throwing money at her.“Get out of my sight, I don’t like whores,” Louis replied. Penelope’s eyes widened in anger. Before standing up to face him, she picked up the money he had thrown at her.“Look at how thick-skinned you are to say that to me!” Penelope screamed. She was about to slap Louis when he blocked her with his right hand. “Do you really think a whore like you can lay your hand on my face?” Louis asked with a grin. He probably thought the young man wouldn’t notice that she had spiked his drink with sleeping pills to rob him. When Louis went to the bar feeling restless, Penelope immediately learned about the young man’s situation. She plans to seduce him so she can go to his mansion, where Loui
Elaine’s Point of ViewI woke up when I felt something cold touch my skin, a damp cloth. I immediately opened my eyes to see who was with me.The last thing I remember was being in Kaizer's arms while we were leaving the venue at Desire Island. If my guess is correct, I am here in his mansion. I also remembered what I said to Louis. I’m sure he got upset with what I said, but what could I do? I was too carried away by what he did to me, which is why I said that. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kaizer gently wiping my cheek with the cloth. He was looking at me seriously, but when he noticed that I opened my eyes, a smile appeared on his face."I'm glad you're awake, Ely," Kaizer said. I didn’t know how to respond because it felt like my tongue was tied in embarrassment. I’ve been giving him so much trouble. I noticed his black eye from when Louis punched him.I couldn’t help but feel shy around him. My eyes widened when he suddenly kissed my forehead.“I thought something had happened to
