Elaine's Point of View
I woke up to the noise coming from outside. Slowly, I opened my eyes to see what was happening and noticed a woman I didn’t recognize talking to a man.
“Why do you want me to add you to my collection?” the woman asked, her voice dripping with arrogance while the woman treating her seemed furious.
“Excuse me, womanizer. Please don’t treat me like my cousin who had a thing for you. I’m still wondering what she saw in you,” the woman replied, which made me wonder who they were talking about.
I needed to leave but was too embarrassed to interrupt their conversation.
“Don’t ever talk about that woman in front of me,” Louis said, standing up and pulling a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket.
“Are you still bitter, Louis? Don’t tell me that woman was just a fling. From what I heard from your mother, she’ll be your wife for some reason. I pity her! She’ll be stuck with a man who still hasn’t moved on from his ex,” the woman said, standing up to face him. Louis fired back.
So his name was Louis—that suited him. I shook my head at my thoughts; it must be the effect of him saving me.
“Leave. I suggested you mind your own business and don’t insult my future wife again,” Louis said, pointing a gun at the woman’s head.
I couldn’t help but frown at what he did. Was he talking about me? I thought we were just getting married to settle my father’s debts.
The woman didn’t flinch; she just smirked. “Yeah. I won’t meddle with your family, but I do hope it lasts,” she said before turning and leaving.
I quickly climbed back into bed, pretending to be asleep since I heard Louis’s footsteps entering the room.
All I could hear was the pounding of my own heart. Then I felt the bed creak as he sat down next to me. I took a deep breath, the scent of his cologne filling the air.
It smelled too good.
“I know you're awake. Let’s have some dinner, wife,” Louis said. I didn’t know what to do—should I keep pretending to be asleep or open my eyes? The way he called me… it made me uneasy.
I wanted to eat first and then go hen go hen go hen go home because my father was looking for me.
“Aren’t you going to open your eyes, or do you want me to force them open? How about that, Mrs. Montemayor?” he whispered, his breath sending a shiver down my neck.
What did he mean by that? Mrs. Montemayor? Don’t tell me he’s a Montemayor—the family my father worked for?
I opened my eyes immediately, locking eyes with him. I was about to stand when he suddenly pulled me back onto the bed.
“Are you okay? Does anything still hurt?” he asked, making me shake my head.
“I’m fine. Let’s eat,” I muttered, and he nodded.
“Okay. I’ll change my clothes. Wait for me outside, or stay here if you want to see my body,” Louis said, taking off his shirt.
“I’ll go outside,” I quickly responded, hurrying to run out of the room, but he blocked the door.
“Is this your first time seeing a man’s body?” Louis asked, staring at me. I turned my eyes away.
Why am I feeling like this? My heart was beating so fast I could barely hear anything else.
“A…A-what?” I stammered as he stepped closer to me. Was he testing me?
“We’ll be married before the year ends. Maybe we should have our honeymoon now? What do you think?” Louis asked, his words making me sweat even though the air conditioning was on full blast.
What is he talking about? I haven’t agreed to any wedding. The only thing I know is my father promised this marriage to pay off his debt.
“What wedding are you talking about?” I asked, mustering all my strength to push him away.
I ended up in this situation because I wanted to know about the wedding Louis kept talking about, which my father refused to discuss.
“Why didn’t your father tell you? Ha, that old hag is really a headache. Maybe I should just kill him,” Louis said, making my eyes widen in shock. I immediately yelled at him.
“Don’t you ever say that! I swear, I’ll call the police to have you arrested!”
He covered my mouth with his hand, “Shh. Don’t shout.”
I tried to pull his hand off my mouth, but he was too strong. In my frustration, I bit his palm, making him let go.
“My father is innocent. You’re the one who—” Before I could finish, his lips suddenly pressed against mine, leaving me frozen in surprise.
When I snapped back to my senses, I slapped him hard.
“Why the hell did you do that?” he growled, holding my hand, which I winced at because of the pain.
“You didn’t even ask for permission when you kissed me. What did you expect me to do?” I shot back.
“I’ll say this once. You’re my fiancée now, so behave yourself. This marriage is the payment for your father’s debt to us, and listen closely—he’s the one who proposed it,” Louis said, making my body feel weak.
His mood had completely shifted from before. He was a completely different person now.
He left the room, leaving me stunned. Even now, I don’t know the whole story, but one thing was clear to me: I was being used as payment for my father’s debt.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when someone knocked on the door. I opened it to find a maid standing there.
“Ma’am, Sir Louis is calling you. Dinner’s ready in the dining room. Also, he said don't wait for him to carry you,” she announced.
I didn’t answer, so she left.
I needed to go home. It would be better to get my father to speak about this matter.
Just as I was about to leave, Louis opened the door, a frown on his face.
“Let’s go. You need to eat to regain your energy,” he said, picking me up and slinging me over his shoulder like a sack of rice.
My father would be mad if I didn’t come home tonight. He’d probably ask Kaizer to help find me.
As we descended the stairs, I shouted, “Put me down! I need to go home!”
I stopped when I heard a familiar voice.
“Elaine…” Kaizer said, and when I looked up, I saw him standing there with his hands in his pockets.
What was he doing here?
I tried to squirm from Louis’s grasp, but he was too strong, and I couldn’t break free. I sighed and realized I had what you are doing here. How did you know I was here?” I asked, unsure of why he suddenly appeared at Louis’s mansion. I hadn’t even been able to call my father because I was afraid he’d panic.
“Wife, how do you know him?” Louis interrupted, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
I didn’t like our position—Louis had me over his shoulder, holding me at the waist to keep me from falling. I was facing Kaizer, which felt uncomfortable.
“What wife? And can you put me down? I’m really uncomfortable like this,” I complained, trying to move, but I was stunned when Louis suddenly shifted me to bridal style, just like when he saved me.
What is he doing? What does Kaizer think of this?
I couldn’t help but cover my face out of embarrassment, but I was surprised when Kaizer grabbed my hand.
“Elaine, come on, let’s go home. Don’t you want to see your dad?” Kaizer asked, his voice sounding sad. Honestly, I didn’t know how to explain why I ended up here.
I was about to speak when Louis responded, “What do you think you’re doing, jackass?”
I looked at his face, and his brow was furrowed. It was clear he didn’t agree with Kaizer’s words.
“It’s obvious Elaine wants to go home. Let her go, and find someone else who suits your crap,” Kaizer snapped, tightening his grip on my hand. The tension between them grew, and I took a deep breath before speaking up.
“Stop, both of you. I want to go home, but leaving without thanking Louis would not be politeto o o him for saving me. Also, Kaizer, care to explain how you knew I was here?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. It seemed like he was hiding something from me.
Could this marriage Louis was talking about be related to what my father mentioned earlier? If so, I really needed to know how he was involved.
“I just followed you. That’s it,” Kaizer answered directly, but I didn’t believe him.
It was too obvious he wasn’t being truthful. Besides, if he followed me, why didn’t he help me?
“Tell me the truth. Do you know what’s going on? Like, this deal?” I asked. He avoided my gaze, clearly uncomfortable.
“Wife, Kaizer is one of my colleagues. Can we continue this in the dining room? He’s just wasting our time,” Louis muttered, and I was stunned. What? Kaizer worked with him? If that was the case, he knew what was happening.
I knew Montemayor Group had some dark secrets, especially the old building. I doubted it was for legal business—maybe they were part of an illegal organization.
I pulled my hand away from Kaizer’s, feeling disappointed. He knew something, but why did he keep it from me? If he had told me, I wouldn’t have put myself in danger to find out the truth, or worse, maybe he was involved.
“Elaine, wait. Let me explain; don’t be mad,” Kaizer called out, quickly walking to catch up with us.
I sighed. Today, I learned things that only disappointed me. It would be better if Kaizer didn’t get involved in my family’s personal problems since we were the ones who owed the Montemayor family.
“Kaizer, it’s fine. You don’t need to explain. Cantell my dad I’m safe so he doesn’t worry? I’m in good hands with my fiancé,” I said, forcing a smile. I couldn’t lie to Kaizer, but I didn’t want to drag him into my family’s mess, especially if he was part of Louis’s team.
“But Elaine, it’s not—” Kaizer was cut off by Louis.
“You heard my wife, Kaizer. Leave, and don’t interrupt us again. We’re going to have dinner,” Louis taunted, which made Kaizer clench his jaw in frustration.
“Fuck you. If you lay your hands on Elaine, I will kill you, Louis,” Kaizer growled, glaring at Louis, who didn’t seem fazed by his words.
“I will lay a hand on her later in our bed,” Louis replied playfully, which only fueled Kaizer’s anger. Kaizer pulled out a gun, which shocked me.
“Shoot,” Louis said, grinning.
I immediately spoke up to stop them both.
“Can you please stop? I’m hungry. Also, Kaizer, are you okay with shouting at your boss? Don’t worry about me, I’m fine,” I said, crossing my arms.
Kaizer turned away, muttering, “Be thankful Elaine’s here. You better treat her right,” before walking away.
I looked up at Louis. “I’m agreeing to this marriage you’re talking about, but I have a condition,” I said, our eyes meeting. I looked away quickly.
“What is it?” Louis asked.
“Let me get down first,” I replied. When he set me down, I couldn’t help but marvel at the chandelier hanging from the ceiling. My eyes widened even more when I saw the mansion’s design.
“Wow,” I said, looking around. I could tell just how wealthy the Montemayors were.
I quickly ran to the large bookshelf full of books.
I’ve always loved books, especially the Sherlock Holmes novels by Arthur Conan Doyle, but since I couldn’t afford them, I’d just search for them online when I had data.
I tried to reach for the Sherlock Holmes book on the higher shelf. I pouted when I couldn’t reach it, but I gathered all my strength and jumped. My eyes widened when the shelf almost toppled over, but Louis quickly caught me, his hand on the top shelf, while the books fell.
We were so close to each other that I couldn’t help but look at his face. There was no sign of irritation, just concern.
“Are you okay?” Louis asked, and I nodded.
My heart felt like it was racing.
“Sir, I’ll take care of it. The table is ready for the two of you,” a man said, quickly approaching us to fix the shelf.
“I’ll help you,” I offered, gently pushing Louis aside and heading to the fallen books.
“No, ma’am, I’ll call the maids to clean it up,” the man said. I tried to insist, but he refused. So in the end, I followed Louis to the dining room.
“Wife, do you want anything?” Louis asked as we walked side by side. All I really wanted was to hold that Sherlock Holmes book, but I couldn’t reach it because of my height.
“None,” I replied briefly.
After walking for a while, we stopped in front of a large door with “Salle à Manger” written on it.
“It means dining room. Translated in French,” Louis said, almost as if he could read my mind.
When the maid opened the door, we were greeted by a massive marble dining table in the center, with a vase full of roses.
“Here, let me help you,” Louis said, pulling out a chair for me. I didn’t know why he seemed so polite now; just earlier, he felt like a completely different person.
“Thank you,” I replied before sitting down.
The men in chef outfits began preparing the dishes. It felt like I was in a fancy restaurant, just like in the books I read.
One of the women was about to serve me when I quickly took the plate from her hands.
“It’s fine. I’ll serve myself,” I said with a smile.
“Oh, by the way, Mr. Montemayor, about the condition I mentioned earlier,” I reminded him while taking a bite of rice. He stared at me, waiting for me to continue.
I was about to finish what I was saying when suddenly, a man in a tuxedo entered the door. He stopped in front of the table.
“Oh, I see you're having dinner with one of your flings,” he said, eyeing me critically.
“Well, sorry to interrupt. But I found information about Mariella—she’s in the hospital right now,” he added, acting like I wasn’t even there.
Louis stood up. “Excuse me, wife,” he said, kissing me on the forehead, which caught me off guard. Before I could react, he left with the man who had just entered.
Who was this woman they were talking about? Was she so important that they had to discuss her outside, like Louis had to keep an eye on her?
Elaine’s Point of ViewI waited for Louis to return to the dining room, but thirty minutes passed, so I decided not to eat. I had also lost my appetite. As I passed by the bookshelf, I noticed the book I wanted earlier was now on the lower shelf, so I grabbed it and went up to the room where I had been resting earlier. There’s probably nothing wrong with lying down here. They have plenty of rooms.“Nerd.”I quickly sat up from the bed when I heard the man who had approached Louis earlier.“What are you doing here? Where’s Louis? And who are you?” I asked, quickly grabbing a pillow to defend myself in case he had bad intentions. He chuckled. “Chill. Louis just asked me to tell you not to wait for him anymore because he has something to do with Mariella. He missed his ex so much. Do you know that?”His words felt like a sharp sting to my heart, but I reminded myself that our marriage was just to pay off my father’s debt.“I’ll go ahead,” he said.He was about to leave when I stopped him.
Third Person's Point of ViewWhen Louis arrived at the basement, he immediately glared at Volstrige because of the disruption he had caused between him and Elaine.“You should know the consequences of what you did,” the young man growled as he slowly took out one of his favorite pistols, the Beretta 92, from Italy. Jacob had given it to him when he returned to the Philippines to celebrate his new business in alcoholic beverages.Volstrige immediately hid behind Alex, but Brennon quickly pulled him out. “Boss, please shoot this womanizer. He almost got me into trouble because of him,” Brennon complained, laughing. Volstrige's face was unreadable.“Are you an idiot? I didn’t do anything wrong to you!” Volstrige yelled. The two started arguing, causing Louis to frown.“Stop wasting my fucking time. I have things to do, lead the way,” Louis said authoritatively. Both of them lowered their heads and began leading Louis to where they had captured the spy.Louis had been thinking about going
Third Person’s Point of View“Wife, why are you taking so long to come in? Does Louis have another fling again?” asked a man who looked just like Louis, the only difference being that his appearance showed signs of aging, even though he still looked like a teenager. The man stopped locking the car when he saw Elaine. He recognized her face because he had ordered Louis to marry the young woman.“Who are you, miss, and why are you in my son’s mansion? Explain yourself,” the woman said grumpily, raising an eyebrow. She looked at Elaine, who didn’t know what to say since the young man hadn’t told her that his parents would also be coming.“M-Me? Uh... uh,” Elaine stuttered. Louis’s father stopped Louis’s mother from pulling Elaine’s hair because she was about to drag her out.“Wife, she’s the woman I was telling Louis about. For Pete’s sake, it’s embarrassing to treat your son’s bride like that,” Louis’s father said, which made Louis’s mother realize what she was doing to Elaine. She immed
Third Person’s Point of ViewSirius's butler was restless as they headed to the jail. In truth, in his six years of service to his master, this was the first time something like this had happened to him. Sirius would get mad at him when they arrived, and he was with two of his cousins. What Sirius hated the most was asking for help from anyone, especially people he knew.He didn’t want to be judged. Once, the young man almost killed him because he reported him to his parents, something Sirius hated. He tried to live without asking for anyone’s help, but Sirius had no choice now because his situation was so bad that it threatened the company he had been protecting.“Can you tell us what really happened?” Kaizer asked while Louis was busy looking at his phone. His mother had been calling nonstop earlier, telling him to come home because they were already at the mansion to discuss the wedding. As much as he wanted to go home, he couldn’t because his cousin needed him now.“This is what ha
Third Person’s Point of ViewLouis quickly accelerated the car. He was worried about the young woman, especially since his mother had mentioned that something bad had happened to her.“Damn,” he cursed while hitting the steering wheel because of the traffic. Just when he was in a hurry, traffic appeared in the area.“Can you calm down? As if you can stop the traffic with that, idiot,” Kaizer told him, but in truth, his hand had been shaking with fear about what had really happened to Elaine. He had liked her for a long time, but he always held himself back whenever they met because he didn’t want to complicate her mind with all that was going on.The truth was, he knew Elaine better than her future husband. There was nothing he could do about it, especially since he wasn’t sure if she liked him too. If he could, he would run away with her and live a simple life, but if that happened, there would be equally important things they'd lose that he couldn’t bear. When they arrived at the man
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost,” said the young lady, who was staring at Louis' pale face. She didn’t understand why the young man was reacting that way to the picture of her with her mother, who was holding her in her arms.“Who is that woman to you?” Louis asked. His mind was spinning because of what was happening, but suddenly, his head began to ache. The memory of his former nanny came rushing back.*** Flashback“Lou-lou, you shouldn’t be out at this hour. Your father will surely scold you,” lectured his favorite nanny, Serena. She was kind and always prioritized his feelings. In fact, she was the first person to see him cry, especially when his father scolded him.“But I want to go to Uncle Liam’s mansion. He will probably get mad at Sirius because of what we did. I want to defend him,” young Louis said, raising his hand as if on a mission. Compared to other children, Louis was more mature, even though he was only seven years
Elaine’s Point of ViewLouis remained silent while driving. We were heading to the resort that Aunt Hacel mentioned.I couldn't help but wonder what the conversation between him and my father was about. When he returned inside, he was quiet and didn't speak much. I was also shivering from the cold air conditioning, as it was blowing directly at me. Louis was the one driving while my father and Kaizer were in the other car.At first, Kaizer didn’t want to agree, but my father insisted that they not join us.“Wear this,” Louis said, slowly opening his compartment to grab a denim jacket. He handed it to me, which I quickly accepted because I was about to freeze from the cold. Even my legs were too stiff to move.“Thank you,” I said. Louis just nodded and continued driving. I wasn’t sure if Kaizer had already arrived at the resort before us because we were stuck in traffic. They might have gotten there thirty minutes earlier.“By the way, what did you and my father talk about?” I asked bec
Third Person’s Point of View"See for yourself, don’t tell me you have a new girlfriend again? Tss, that’s fast. We haven’t even killed Mariella in front of you, but don’t worry, I’ll make sure you see your new one die!" he shouted. His voice echoed throughout the place. About five people were already lying on the floor, dead from gunshot wounds to their hearts. The armed group surrounded Louis. Elaine was behind, trembling in fear. She was still holding the pistol that Louis gave her, but she didn’t know how to use it.She had only held a gun like this when she, Venice, and Elena went to a newly opened firearm training that taught how to handle guns, but they only went because of the good-looking instructor, who Elena had a huge crush on. Elena’s soul almost left her body every time Xypen approached her. However, they didn’t last long in the training because they saw him with another woman, which made Elena jealous. So, they decided to enroll elsewhere, which both she and Venice had r
Third PersonWhen Louis arrived at the mansion where Mariella lived, Mr. Kernel immediately opened the gate for him, as he still remembered his plate number."Long time no see, Sir Louis," Mr. Kernel greeted as he saluted Louis, who parked the car carefully inside the garage.Mr. Kernel had been a loyal bodyguard for the De Vera family, even when Louis and Mariella were still in a relationship. It seemed that most of his cars were associated with the old guard."Yeah, it’s been a long time, Mr. Kernel," Louis replied as he got out of his car.As Louis entered the mansion, the first thing he noticed was the decor, which hadn’t changed at all. Perhaps Mariella hadn’t been decorating much lately due to her busy career.Louis then glanced at the maids, who were bowing to him at the side. “Where’s Mariella?” he asked. One of the maids, a petite woman named Elisse, immediately looked up.“It’s you, Sir Louis. Ma’am Mariella is in her old room on the second floor. Would you like me to accomp
Third PersonAfter leaving the mansion, Louis immediately got into the Honda Jazz parked in the garage. It was one of the gifts he received from his Uncle Alexander when he turned twenty-one.Honestly, Louis wanted to throw the car away because it was already years old. His garage was overflowing with vehicles due to the many cars he received every year. Some of the ones he didn’t like were given away to his female cousins.Louis couldn’t understand why his father insisted that he marry Elaine, especially since she was the granddaughter of their organization’s fierce rival. If it was protection he needed, why didn’t his father just provide him with bodyguards? When he sat in the driver’s seat, he angrily punched the steering wheel. He couldn’t accept why the girl was pretending not to know about his father’s plans, especially when it was so obvious that she was trying to attract his cousins who were involved in the organization to spy on the ledger.Louis knew he shouldn’t feel anythi
ElaineI woke up because of the sunlight hitting my eyelids.“Good morning, Ma’am Elaine, I brought you some hot coffee to help with your hangover,” Blaire said as she gently placed a cup with a happy face design on the side table.“Please just call me Elaine, and thank you for bringing the coffee,” I smiled and replied, sitting up. My head still ached from all the wine I drank last night.“I’m not used to calling people just by their first names, Ma’am and Sir are what I usually use for the people I serve. You know, it’s become a habit,” Blaire explained. She handed me a wet towel. After I wiped my face, she took the towel from my right hand and pointed to the coffee. “Drink this before it gets cold. It looks like you drank too much last night,” she said, and I scratched my head because I couldn’t remember much of what I did last night.“Thank you so much. By the way, was Kaizer the one who brought me home last night?” I asked, blowing on the coffee since it was too hot and nearly bu
Third PersonA few moments of silence passed between Kaizer and Elaine. Neither of them wanted to speak first, both of them nervous about what the other might be thinking.Eventually, Kaizer couldn’t take the silence anymore, so he sighed to get Elaine’s attention.“Come on, Ely, we shouldn’t waste time here. I’ll take you home, Louis is probably worried about you,” Kaizer said, causing Elaine to feel even more sadness about what she had witnessed.Elaine scratched her head, not wanting to go with Kaizer. She didn’t want to go home right away, especially after seeing Louis with another woman."W-Well," Elaine stammered. She wanted to explain why she didn’t want to go home, but no words came out.“Let’s enjoy here for a while,” Kaizer said when he sensed that the girl didn’t want to go with him. He gently lifted her bridal-style.Elaine was about to speak when Kaizer suddenly asked her, “Who did you come here with? Look at what almost happened to you,” he asked with a frown, clearly up
Third PersonIt had been hours since Elaine locked herself in the room after Louis left her alone. She couldn’t quite grasp what she had done wrong for the young man not to reciprocate her feelings for him.Elaine’s tears flowed endlessly as she tried to find Venice’s name in her contact list, hoping to release her frustrations about what Louis had said to her.Elaine had always thought that she would fall for Kaizer alone, so she had prepared herself to get hurt because she was sure he only saw her as a friend. But it turned out that what she would experience with Louis was even worse. She wanted to go somewhere to relax her mind, even if just for tonight."Hello, Ela, you called?" Venice asked, her face showing concern for Elaine, as it was rare for her to call."I-I’m sorry for calling at this hour," Elaine stammered, still sobbing.Venice immediately sensed that something was wrong on the other line and couldn’t help but feel sorry for her friend's situation.“It’s okay, it’s not
ElaineMy eyes widened in surprise because he was the one who would be my partner in the competition. I was expecting someone totally nerdy, just like me, but it looks like the rumors were true—he definitely has a strong presence. He even looks really hot, even in a uniform."We can just be partners, baby," Elena teased, grabbing Noah's hand that he offered to me.“Are you stupid? What will you answer in the competition? If you fight, our campus is already lost,” Venice teased, which made Elena raise an eyebrow.“Excuse me, I’m always winning in gay pageants. You can even ask me tough questions, like Catriona-level!” Elena said while pretending to wave at the audience.I saw Noah frown when Elena suddenly approached him and gently squeezed his arm.“I think Noah’s got it going on!” Elena said. You could see the annoyance on Noah's face from what Elena was doing.“Can you f*cking get lost? Your existence is making me mad,” Noah snapped, his jaw clenched in anger.“Oh, I like that, rawr
ElaineSeveral days had passed since I tried to run away from Louis' mansion with Blaire's help, but all of that was ruined when we were caught.**“And where do you think you’re going?” asked a familiar male voice.I immediately closed my eyes tightly. I felt Blaire squeeze my hand; all I could do was swallow nervously.“I said, where are you two going? Care to explain?” he repeated. I had no choice but to turn around to see who was speaking.Blaire and I would definitely be in trouble if this was Louis. When I turned around, my jaw almost dropped when I saw Tyron, frowning. His face showed confusion as he wondered why Blaire and I were leaving.“Tyron?” I asked in surprise. His expression immediately changed when he saw Blaire staring at him.“Hello, love,” Tyron said.He was so vulnerable when it came to Blaire. Just a moment ago, his face was all furrowed, but now he was smiling so widely it looked like his lips were about to come off.“Okay, I’m still here,” I teased, waving my h
Third Person’s Point of View“Louis, baby. Leave that woman alone,” Penelope said. She grabbed Louis by the arm, but she was shocked when he suddenly shoved her forcefully, causing her to fall to the floor.“How dare you!” she shouted at him. He simply gave her a scornful look before throwing money at her.“Get out of my sight, I don’t like whores,” Louis replied. Penelope’s eyes widened in anger. Before standing up to face him, she picked up the money he had thrown at her.“Look at how thick-skinned you are to say that to me!” Penelope screamed. She was about to slap Louis when he blocked her with his right hand. “Do you really think a whore like you can lay your hand on my face?” Louis asked with a grin. He probably thought the young man wouldn’t notice that she had spiked his drink with sleeping pills to rob him. When Louis went to the bar feeling restless, Penelope immediately learned about the young man’s situation. She plans to seduce him so she can go to his mansion, where Loui
Elaine’s Point of ViewI woke up when I felt something cold touch my skin, a damp cloth. I immediately opened my eyes to see who was with me.The last thing I remember was being in Kaizer's arms while we were leaving the venue at Desire Island. If my guess is correct, I am here in his mansion. I also remembered what I said to Louis. I’m sure he got upset with what I said, but what could I do? I was too carried away by what he did to me, which is why I said that. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kaizer gently wiping my cheek with the cloth. He was looking at me seriously, but when he noticed that I opened my eyes, a smile appeared on his face."I'm glad you're awake, Ely," Kaizer said. I didn’t know how to respond because it felt like my tongue was tied in embarrassment. I’ve been giving him so much trouble. I noticed his black eye from when Louis punched him.I couldn’t help but feel shy around him. My eyes widened when he suddenly kissed my forehead.“I thought something had happened to
