Easton softly stroked my back while he held me. I was absentmindedly playing with his hair when he softly said, “We should probably go ahead and let our wolves out for a bit so we can head to the packhouse.”

“Yeah, Kyra might try to force it if I don’t let her shift soon.” I laughed out.

He slowly slid out of me before lifting me up to sit on the edge of the spring. I laid back enjoying the warm sun while he pulled himself up out of the water. Once he was out, he gave me a soft peck on my lips before standing up. I sat up while he walked further away from the water to shift. My jaw dropped at the sight of his magnificent wolf.

His wolf was so black it almost looked deep purple. It went perfectly with the silver of Kyra’s fur. His eyes were an even more piercing blue than Easton’s, and he was larger than any wolf I had ever seen. Kyra purred in my mind before I gave her control to shift.
