Easton POV

“Mom, are you saying you think that girl from the rumors is Emily’s mother?”

“It could be a very good possibility.” Mom replied. My dad looked between my mother and Emily and appeared to be lost in thought.

“Do you remember her name?” Emily asked.

“No, dear. I’ll call some of my friends and see what I can find out though.” Mom answered. She then furrowed her brows before adding, “When’s your birthday?”

“February.” Emily said.

“Do you know your parents’ anniversary?” Dad asked Emily.

Emily gasped before answering, “My birthday. They said I was born on their first anniversary.”

“How old are you?” Dad asked her. “Twenty.” She answered.

Mom looked panicked as we all sat there contemplating. I could feel Emily’s emotions going crazy. She suddenly stiffened in my lap.
