Dream Meeting

Emily POV

It didn’t take me very long to fall asleep, especially with Easton’s warmth wrapped around me. I woke up in a meadow of flowers next to a beautiful waterfall. I sat up and noticed that it was still dark outside, but the moon was full and shining brightly. It seemed to encompass everything in a silver glow.

I looked around for some clue as to how I got here. I saw a regal looking woman approaching me. Her long, wavy hair was the same honey-colored shade as mine, but there were light pink highlights throughout it. As she got closer I saw her eyes were the same shade of purple as Kyra’s.

I felt drawn to the unknown woman for some reason. I stood up and she sat on a large flat rock near the water’s edge. She waved for me to join her, so I walked and sat beside her. I sat gazing at her, and noticed that her skin seemed to sparkle. I took in her features, which were similar to mine.

“Mama?” I questioned hesitantly.

“Yes, my child. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be there
