AIDEN'S POV

" You must have a lot of enemies out there. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of your pride and arrogance."

I was so infuriated by her choice of words.

" Watch the way you speak to me, Miss Anderson. I won't tolerate any disrespect from you."

" Just in case you have forgotten, I no longer work for you. I can talk to you whichever way I like. The world doesn't revolve around you." She hissed back at me.

"That's enough." Audrey scolded." Can we put our heads together and accomplish something without you two fighting every minute? "

"Mia, you said a strange woman has been calling you? And she claims to be one of my brother's victims?" Audrey asked after we both kept quiet at her command.
