CHAPTER TWELVE

MIA'S POV

" He said he has a plan? Did he tell you what it was about?

"Not at all. But I'm guessing that they want to discuss it in person. Please Mia, I need you to be extremely careful out there and with this lady in question. You are already involved in this too."

I saw the genuine love and care that was in her eye while she spoke to me. I knew right there that I could count on her.

"I will…Thank you so much."

Her pleas for me to return back to work kept ringing in my ear when I got home.

I'm at the point of confusion right now. I don't know what to do about this whole issue. I decided to let my Aunt in on what's going on.

"Aunt, please there's something that is bothering me and I need your advice on what to do."

"What is it dear?" She asked.

" My boss and his sister want me to resume back to work . "

"So, what do you wanna do about it? Are you ready to face him without getting affected again?"

"Honestly, I don't know. The pay is good, yes but his temper can be overwhelming. H
