CHAPTER TWENTY

AIDEN'S POV

" Is something wrong?" I asked Mia, judging by the look on her face, I could say something was definitely up. Besides, I heard her talking on the phone.

"How long have you been standing there?" she asked.

"Not too long."

She breathed out in relief before answering my question.

"Nothing really, it was just my Aunt telling me she wasn't feeling well."

"Really ? What is wrong with her? "

"She didn't give me details on that. How was your meeting?"

"It went well. Come on, let's take a walk outside. You have been in the door all these while."

"I'm really not in the mood . Can I just go to my room and rest? I'm really tired."

"Are you sure you are okay?"

"Yes. I'm fine. "

"Okay then, let's go to your room together. I will stay with you just Incase you need something."

"That won't be necessary sir. I just want to be alone."
