AIDEN'S POV

I anxiously waited in front of Mia's room with Jordan. I could feel Jordan staring at me with pity but my mind was everywhere. I couldn't focus on anything.

My phone rang out and I dug it out of my pocket. It was Audrey. I swiped the screen and picked it up.

" Hello Aiden. Jordan texted me . How's Mia doing? "

" I…..I…d…don't k…know. " I croaked out.

" Just calm down, Aiden. She'll be fine. She's a fighter and has always been a fighter. Nothing will happen to both of them."

" I hope so this time. I don't know what I'll do if something were to happen to our baby again. "

" Just be positive bro. I'll be with you in a jiffy. Be strong for us. " With that she ended the call.

" We can't keep standing here, Aiden." Jordan said, " Let's just wait at the reception."
