CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR

MIA'S POV

I woke up in a very dark room with just a little window to let the air into the room. I was sitting on a chair and my hands were tied behind my back but my legs were free. There was also a table in front of me. I groaned softly and tried to adjust myself properly on the chair.

I was in pain and my body aches badly. My first thought went to my unborn child. I widened my eyes in panic as I checked myself properly to see if nothing was wrong with my baby. I breathed a sigh of relief when no sign on my body showed that I was in a bad condition.

I raised my head up and stared at the ceiling as I had a flashback on how I got here in the first place.

Everything was going fine and I couldn't have been happier than I was. My wedding gown was the most beautiful that I have ever seen in the world.

Finally, the church wedding ceremony was over and there was this joy in my heart that I just wasn't able to explain when we left for the reception venue.
